Nyx: The fallen Maiden

Long ago, the twin gods decided to create a maiden who would help them monitor the world of Remnant. She was meant to be the guide for their project: humans. Her role was to assist in growing food, building homes, and teaching them how to make water drinkable. The gods intended her to be the kindest and most caring creation they had ever made until she grew hungrier for more.

In the world of Remnant, she was the strongest, with only the brother gods being more powerful. At first, she enjoyed helping humans, but slowly she began to see their darker side. She tried to stop them from causing havoc among each other, but they wouldn't listen until one day she snapped.

While attempting to calm the situation with her magic, she accidentally killed a human, causing everyone to freeze. Up until then, they thought they could do whatever they wanted without consequences, but they were mistaken.

After she displayed her power, they all quickly bowed to her and begged for forgiveness, making the maiden feel something she had never felt before. Wanting to experience that feeling again, she used her powers to cause droughts, taking away water from the humans. Then, she would take away their food, causing them to starve, and finally, she would destroy their homes, doing the exact opposite of what she was created for.

But when she soon grew bored of all their offerings and worship, she decided to give up her role as a maiden and disappeared.

When the brother gods made her, they ensured that if there ever was a situation she couldn't control, she could call on them to assist her.

Deep in the mountains, she called on the gods, making a false distress signal. They appeared quickly but soon noticed the hunger for power that had grown within her. They tried to bring her back (more like the god of light did), but it was of no use. She was too far gone and attempted to kill the brothers, but she was unsuccessful and was quickly captured.

They sealed her in the same area where she called upon them and left her trapped in eternal darkness. The maiden soon lost all her power, but something more dark and sinister replaced it. The god of darkness visited her alone and took her powers in return for the ability to control darkness, just like him.
