I ran back towards Felix.

Let’s hope I am not late.

After a few seconds I was standing in front of the Forest Protector.

I searched the area with my eyes but I couldn’t see Felix.

Where is he?

Then I saw it. Drops of blood were dripping from its mouth.

I looked down and there was a piece of fabric from Felix’s clothes.

It noticed me.

I need to at least avenge him or I’ll be killed too (by my captain).

„Water spirits hear my call and gather into my soul – Water spear.“

Once the water spear hit the Forest Protector it collapsed and fell down to the ground.

That doesn’t seem right. It can’t be that weak.

Its body split itself into small pieces.

What’s going on?

„Is he a friend of yours, Elleanora?“

Then I saw him standing on top of the pieces left out of the Forest Protector’s body.

His golden hair fluttered in the wind.

For the first time in my life I was happy to see Claude.

Luckily for me he was holding Felix in one hand. He looked unharmed.

He threw him towards me.

„Are you okay Felix?“ I panicked.

He didn’t respond, however he didn’t look hurt.

„Are you ignoring me?“ said Claude.

„Why are you throwing him like an object? You are a dead person if I tell this to the captain.“

„Well, he is unconscious so it really doesn’t matter if I throw with him. Here is his bag he left on the ground,“ he said as he threw it on top of Felix's laying body.

„What does Jennefer have to do with him?“ he looked at me with curiosity.

„The captain is his sister,“ I said with a grin on my face.

He looked at me shocked. „If that’s so, might as well help you carry him to the academy,“ he responded rather calmly.

I took the bag with Felix’s uniform and walked together with Claude towards the academy.

The Magical Forest is made to protect the academy from intruders.

There are magic circles in the labyrinth under the academy.

They are slowing time inside the forest so it takes way longer to traverse it than it should.

Once we got to the changing cabins it was already dark.

Felix was still asleep because of the venom from the Forest Protector.

After a few more hours he should wake up, however because of that someone needs to change him into his uniform.

„Here is his uniform, please change his clothes,“ I told Claude.

„Why me? I don’t need to see him naked.“

„Claude.“

„Okay, I’ll do it. Give me the bag.“

I waited outside. I didn’t need to change, I wore my uniform underneath the hoodie.

Once Claude walked out of the cabin with Felix in his hand we continued our path.

After five more minutes we were standing at the teleporter.

We stood inside the teleporter and after a while were teleported to the academy.

„So where are we taking him?“ Claude asked me.

„To my dorm room.“

„To your dorm room? All right.“

When we arrived at my room Claude threw Felix into my bed.

„Stop throwing with him or I’ll tell the captain about it.“

„Sorry, won’t happen again. See you tomorrow,“ said Claude.

„Thank you for saving him, Claude.“

„Don’t worry about it. I wouldn’t be able to become a royal knight if I didn’t act that way,“ he replied and left.

It was late but I couldn’t go to sleep yet. I wanted to prepare books for Felix before going to bed.

My dorm room is more like an apartment thanks to me being one of the elite students.

The problem is that I don’t know him at all. I don’t know what his level in math, history and magic is.

I went into the library room and searched for some useful books.

I took all of them that I thought were needed.

So I ended up with Beginner guide to magic, Bestiary of Lutonia, Arithmetics for beginners, History of Lutonia, Tales of Porfin and Herbarium of Lutonia.

I placed them on a table in the living room.

I’ll have to sleep in a guest room in my own apartment.

I went back to my room and put a blanket on top of Felix, took my pajamas and walked straight into a guest room.

There I changed myself and went to bed.

Before I fell asleep I was thinking how lucky I was that Claude was in the forest.

If he wasn’t that focused on reaching his goals and cared about someone else than him we might as well be friends.
