There was no response.

I was so happy that I could talk to someone even though I didn’t trust her at the start.

After a few more minutes of walking I could finally see it in the distance.

The town was located next to a coast.

There was a huge castle wall built around it.

From where I was it seemed that there was only 1 gate into the town.

The gate was being guarded by 2 guards.

The houses were looking at me from behind them.

They were small wooden houses with green roofs. Mushrooms were growing from them.

I kept getting closer and closer towards the gate.

This is going to be my first encounter with the people of Arkia*.

I am kinda nervous.

Once I stood in front of the gate the guards crossed their halberds to block the entrance.

„What is a child doing here alone? Show us your magic card!“ they stated very loudly.

A magic card? Do they mean the table with my stats and skills, which Ocera showed me?

„What’s that?“ I asked them.

As soon as I finished my question they hit me with the dull side of their halberds. I was knocked out.

I woke up inside a small dark room. The walls were made out of stone bricks.

The room was empty.

There was nothing else other than me and another person.

Another person?!

A tall woman wearing a black robe was staring at me while I was looking around.

„You are finally awake.

For what reason are you here kid?

Stealing? Smuggling? Murder? Terrorism?“

„I don’t know. I just didn’t show the guards my magic card.“

„That might be a suspicion of terrorism.“

„But I didn’t do any-“

Sounds of explosion appeared out of nowhere.

It smelled like gunpowder over the place.

Strange plant started growing from the walls.

A light has appeared from the hole next to the plant.

I saw a smile on the woman’s face.

„They are finally here,“ she laughed.

Stem of the flower was growing faster and faster until it stopped.

„Are you coming with us?“

She extended her hand towards me.

I grabbed it without hesitating.

Once I did, the stem wrapped itself around her hips and it pulled us.

We were sent flying out of the hole in the walls.

*I am not counting Ocera, since she is one of my skills.
