The harbor was really small. There was room only for four ships.

Luckily, our ship was the only one there.

Jell and Puff stayed at the ship. The rest of us left.

Once we stepped on the ground I saw someone peeking at us from the only house that was in this harbor.

Behind that house was an enormous forest. You could definitely call it a jungle.

We walked towards the building.

Jennefer knocked on the doors.

„Come in,“ responded the person inside.

Old woman was sitting there behind a small desk.

„Miss Crimson, you have brought Ellie back,“ she said.

„My little brother will be attending the academy starting tomorrow.

He’ll live with Ellie in her dorm.

Here is the payment,“ Jennefer threw a big pouch on the desk.

„Even though it’s you I need to see his magic card,“ the woman answered.

I looked into my palm. „Let there be a magic card.“

I showed it to the woman.

She looked at it from both sides.

„It looks legit,“ she said.

„Because it is,“ both me and Jennefer said at the same time.

The woman smiled. „Here is your school uniform,“ she gave me a bag with clothes.

We said our goodbyes to her and moved on.

„Captain, why does he have to be with me in the dorm?“ Ellie said in disappointment.

„Are you sleeping in all the 4 beds that you have? You have more space than you need,“ Jennefer responded.

„I won’t be able to change her mind,“ sighed Ellie.

All of a sudden Jennefer hugged both me and Ellie.

„Stop resisting.

**At the ship**

„Not again. Why does she have to trust someone she has just met just because he said Phyre’s name? Didn’t she get her lesson from the bandits last time,“ sighed Jell.

„We both know it won’t be the last time. Let’s hope that Felix isn’t working for someone bad like the guy before him,“ Puff replied.

„Speaking of devil she is back,“ they whispered.

„Welcome back captain,“ both of them had fake smiles on their faces.

„Let’s set sail. The Dragon Isles await us,“ Jennefer said in a sad tone.

**Back at the Great Continent**

We had been walking for over 20 minutes and there were no signs of the jungle ending.

There were all kinds of plants, trees and strange sounds.

It was a completely different feeling than Heart Island.

You could feel that this jungle was alive.

Before I knew it I tripped over a root.

I fell straight into some strange purple liquid. It was so sticky I couldn’t move from it.

Ellie didn’t notice that I wasn’t following her.

„Ellie, please help me,“ I cried.

When she turned her head towards me I knew something wasn’t right.

She looked worried, perhaps scared.

„Water spirits hear my call and gather into my soul – Waterfall,“ she said while shaking.

Water poured from above me.

Once it collided with the purple liquid I could move.

I was free.

Ellie looked at me.

„Run as fast as possible and don’t look back,“ she said while almost crying and started running.

I didn’t know why she was that scared.

Then I heard it. Loud roar was coming from behind us.

All the trees shook from the impact of the noise.

Then the soundwave hit me and I almost fell again.

I was running as fast as I could.

But I couldn’t catch up to Ellie.

If anyone was about to die it was me.

I was making my way through the thorny vines and bushes. I ran through tall grass.

I ran so long that I wasn’t even wet from the water anymore.

I heard its footsteps getting closer and closer.

I was getting exhausted.

Then it happened. I tripped over something and fell.

I was so exhausted I couldn’t get up.

At least I wanted to see what I am going to die to.

I turned my head.

There it was a few meters in front of me.

It was at least three times taller than me.

It had four legs and two humps on its back.

Is that a camel? Am I going to die to a fucking camel? What the hell?!

„Help me anyone,“ I shouted as much as I could.

No one was there.

I hope that at least Ellie will survive.

**At Ellie’s location some distance ahead**

She heard Felix’s calls for help.

She knew that if something happens to him the Captain won’t forgive her.

That’s why she went back without hesitation.
