Last Chapter; Enjoy.

The sun is slowly starting to set on the western horizon. The clouds are restless. Seriously, out of all the times, it could be raining it chose to happen on one of the most horrendous days? Wow, worlds do know their events, do they?

"Children, grab my hand!"

Her long silky black hair slowly gets drenched from the upcoming downpour; so with Teriana's. The rain grows restless; and I heard the loudest shrieks from that other maid who've shown us where the hole was, long green hair; now, her voice is echoing over the forest behind us. I saw flames, engulfing the entirety of the mansion. I quickly tilted my back to the front; Duvana's hand gripped onto us tightly.

"Don't let go..."

I replied.

"O-okay m-mommy..."

W-Wait, did I just call her mommy on accident? I looked at her beautiful face; one last time, to see a gentle smile covered in raindrops. Whoops, that was a mistake. B-but, she smiled when she called me that, despite the oblivious action happening behind us.

"Daskin watch out!"

W-Was that Teriana's voice. E-Even her voice sounded adorable! It's a shame those were her first wor-

"Stay back, children!"

Soon as I knew it; a large light blue lightning bolt came from nowhere, and struck Duvana straight through the heart. Her light blue eyes gleamed, and an aura surrounded her greatly near her chest. Teriana got propelled from the blast, and I... well kind of stood near Duvana, but I still felt the unnerving shock.

At this moment, I never knew Duvana was anything but powerful. She... is like some sort of...

"Daskin!"

I quickly saw Duvana's hands; getting covered by an awfully bright blue mist. This aura of energy; surrounded both my mind and Teriana's. Could it be, that mana is being borrowed from our very bodies?

"Seize that demon!"

Oh, she's a demon as well? Typical fantasy world stuff, I guess.

As Teriana and I gripped onto each other's hands tightly, with our faces illuminated by the blue luminance coming from Duvana; I felt the wind, circulating near my skin and hair. It's as if all the surrounding energy is clasping itself together; developing a high level of heat and pure resonating energy to create and craft this strong magical attack.

Which then, her attack gets propelled by the wind. Effectively hastening its speed.

She didn't blurt out any words, she didn't use a spellbook or anything of what a mage should do in typical fantasy worlds. All she did was shut her eyes.

It doesn't act as if it was not an RPG, but… actual fantasy.

I realize that there is no limit, there is no barrier to use magic. All magic is controlled by the very premise and state of your mind. I learned that when I tried to cast a simple nature spell. You can't use the element if you can't feel or see the element.

Just as I stood staring at the long dark hair of Duvana, my sight instantly blacked out.

* * * *

A memory flew right in front of my vision.

I heard my new mother, calmly yet cheerfully; telling me.

"Now my little Daskin, open your eyes and take a strooong glance at the trees and wildlife that surround you."

I slowly held my breath and opened my eyes. I was standing near the backyard of the mansion; isolated from any sort of stone or non-natural structure. All I saw were bushes, trees, and the light piercing through the treetops.

"I… don't feel anything mommy."

Her long lavender hair; briefly swayed to the side, and quietly; she approached behind me and placed her soft palms on my small shoulders. I felt her chest, pressing against my back. I felt her hot breath, lingering within my earlobes and the back of my neck. Her height greatly exceeded mine, as well; obviously, at this point, I realized that I'm a child. She softly whispered in my cold ear.

"Take a stronger view of the forest, my sweet little angel. To cast your first spell, you must focus. You must awaken your mind, and eliminate any sense of distraction and disturbance."

I took another glance at the forest. I saw small crickets chirping on the bottoms of the rough breezy bushes. The weird-looking blue glowing birds, which almost matched the appearance of a hawk; attached their claws onto the branches and chirped. I saw and examined the pattern of which the trees were swaying. I took a view of the forest a lot more different than the first time I took a glance. After that, I felt a small little tingle resting on the bottom of my small feet.

The soft texture of grass, and the calming silence and faint noises of nature itself all resonated within my mind. After a few seconds of complete silence, my mother slowly whispered to my ear.

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

"Now… close your eyes and focus only on nature. Keep that same sight inside your mind, and create your own forest. Your mind is young, and so you can potentially have the power to harness the six elements. I don't have the power, because I dedicated the entirety of my mind to the Darkness. It came with a cost but granted me immense power. You don't seem to have an assigned element. Possibly, you could be a Freetaveler."

She slowly pressed her soft fingers onto my cheek.

"A Freetaveler is fairly common in this world. They have the freedom of their mind to do whatever they want according to magic, swordsmanship, and more. They are presumed to be wise, and fast-learning. A Facturein is the other half of the majority.

They are assigned only one element and are not free to do what they please. Their minds are limited and most usually turn to swordsmen, warriors, or archers instead, but a small portion of Factureins can become a god of their assigned element; if they take the time to master it. Some Factureins take envy at the Freetavelers, and their minds can grow to corruption…"

A breeze blew through her long lavender hair.

"And those that grow envious; fall into the threat of Evil. Darkness isn't the source of evil; rather it's the sin of Envy that turns people to corruption. Jealousy will always lead to disaster, and Pride feeds off Envy. When the envious allows Pride and Envy to collide, that's when there is no way to turn back. They will turn into pure evil monsters, depending on what their mind thinks they are. They can be Dragons, Lizards, Kiterbirds, and Yenelves. These beings... are called Taneviels."

Wow, I never knew sin could take a true purpose into this world. Maybe it's because of the guilt. Shocking that I understand her vocabulary. Usually, when you're four years of age, you can hardly understand many words your guardians or adults say to you. But in this case, she didn't even take the time to notice that I'm just a child.

We then returned to focus on using that spell.

"Now Daskin… construct your 'forest', and when your mind feels like you're ready: raise your palm in front of you and let Wind brush against the center of your palm. That way, with the combinations of both wind and nature; and the strong energy of your mind, it will merge and slowly summon an object, being, animal, or person from the very center of your tiny little hands. When your mind evolves; the requirements will decrease. And you would be able to form the 'forest' in your mind in mere seconds."

She slowly released a calm sigh; while I took a deep thought to fully understand every single bit she was saying. As the winds blew through my ears, she continued.

"Wind is the main source of what triggers sorcery in this world. Wind will always blow, but its speeds will change and vary from time to time. The circulating power of Wind will always guide you to your destination. It's the only thing that's trustworthy to everyone from around the world. Unlike your mind; Wind will never betray you. It's like a guiding horsetana, that helps you to get to your destination with its effort. Without Wind, all of us will be weak. Guide the wind by using the power of your mind… Speak to it and treat Wind with the most respect. Its currents will surely change and assist you on your efforts."

I slowly shut my eyes, and saw that same sight of that particular forest; appear within the dark abyss of my shutting eyes. It quickly expanded and grew; as I tried hastily to expand the forest. I thought of the sounds of the birds, the grass, and the breeze. All of it merged into this one crafted perfection, and soon… I felt the wind blowing heavily near my head.

Then, the Wind's howls slowly converted itself to a calming god-motherly voice.

"I will lead your way. Our breeze will be one with us, and you shall be greeted by your desires."

I tried to remain calm, whilst my mother lightly tapped the back of my neck; showing an honest motherly-like smile behind me. Her long lavender hair flowed with the currents of the wind, and then she whispered.

"Now… let your patience converge…"

I then felt this warm feeling, hovering near the center of my palm. I quickly opened my eyes to see the Wind.

I could see the current path of it, as clear as day. It rested against my palm, and my eyes could see my veins, pulsing a green stream of luminance.

Targeting at the exact spot where my palm was. The energy of my mind, the guidance of Wind, and the confidence of my mind all merged, and soon as I knew it; I could see small leaf particles slowly attaching themselves one by one like droplets slipping and merging one with another. The shape and structure of a leaf formed, and soon… a large string of leaves hastily pushes itself up into the air; piercing through the clouds and falling straight down like a solid rock.

I quickly turned my head to my mother and saw her face was filled with shock and awe. I could see it in her gleaming amethyst eyes, a look of courage and pure determination.

"You are a Freetaveler. Your mind is strong; beyond my comprehension. Keep your mind strong, sweet little angel. The gateway to the element of nature opened for you."

I quickly took a large deep breath. Even though there was no limit, using and doing that process was a bit of a challenge for me. But, that was the first time I ever used magic. Now, I hope that I can shorten the process… but I'm young; so is Teriana so all things can be challenging.

I can't imagine what the other element will be like. This is a memory that is forever stained in my mind. I can't remove it. It's so significant to me.

* * * *

I quickly opened my eyes to see Duvana carrying me against her arms, whilst Teriana gripped her hands tightly. I could see the setting sun; beam on my face. I could see the sight of a large vast plain, and a small village located in the distance. I could see a large paved pathway; leading directly to that same village.

Where am I going? Why did I blackout? What happened?

I couldn't even have the energy to question, I felt drastically exhausted than ever. All I heard from Duvana was.

"I'm sorry, master… I couldn't save your mansion in time. But, I know how much you loved the children. I oath to take care and raise these children until they are ready to go on their own. I will feed them, and educate them as much as I can. I promise I swear on my heart. We will all start anew in this very village, and hopefully… live a calm and peaceful life."

She hastily sprinted and cradled me. I could see the people's blurry sight from the village; greeting a Duvana as I Slowly passed out. Their faces looked worried. Maybe it's because I'm a child that looks like I'm about to faint again. However, unlike the people in Zomrack; they don't look like they despise Soulmates. Well, that's just a guess? I don't know, maybe I will be completely wrong and they will actually betray us one evening.

This world is different from Earth. This doesn't feel like a System world. This feels like an actual world. With meaning, and lives. Magic that takes time and effort to accomplish. And the freedom to do whatever you want with magic. The separation of races, and the lack of chaos. Rather peaceful, and calm… just like Earth.

But also it has problems, debts, and crimes… just like reality. Freetavelers can make their own pathway. They can make their own adventure. They can make their own persona. And I know that I and Teriana are both Free. I'm glad I have been reincarnated into this world.

I question. How do I still have my precious memories and consciousness from my past life? Who decided to reincarnate me here? I guess I won't know until that day comes.

So far... I love this world... for now.
