All Five???

Yuri's breaths were steady, almost rhythmic, as he moved through the forest. The sun barely pierced through the canopy, leaving a perpetual twilight that veiled the forest floor in shadows.

On the forest floor Yuri could be seen slowly moving in on his target. With each step, he grew closer and closer. His prey, unaware of his presence.

He continued to move closer and closer, until he was finally within striking distance. With a quick movement, Yuri made his move.

In a burst of speed, Yuri closed the gap between them. The beast, caught off guard by the sudden charge, barely had time to think before Yuri was upon it.

Yuri swung his katana in a swift, upward arc. The blade sang through the air, a flash of silver.

Shhwwwoooo!

The sound of Yuri's blade tearing through the stillness. It was the symphony of the blade's dance with the wind, ending abruptly as it met the beast's neck. Its head parted from its body cleanly and fell to the ground, the beast's body followed.

Stepping back, Yuri admired his work. The adrenaline of battle coursed through his veins.

'So I get 10 exp per kill for primal beasts, not bad I guess.' Closing the panel Yuri closed his eyes.

~ Energy Resonance activated!

Feeling the distinct vibrations of all the primal realm beasts around him. Yuri chose 5 different beasts that were isolated.

As he opened his eyes and stopped using Energy Resonance, he faced the backlash of using the skill. He managed to stay standing but he had an intense headache, and his body felt drained.

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, trying to control his breathing. After a while he slowly opened his eyes. The pain had finally subsided.

Finally able to continue his mission at hand, he burst forward into a full sprint towards his first prey he had sensed when he used Energy Resonance.

A smirk creeped onto his face as he ran. 'I'll kill all five!'

As he moved through the forest he made sure he avoided any unwanted attention. His senses were heightened to the utmost, he made sure he didn't fall victim to anything that wanted to sneak him.

As he arrived in the vicinity of prey he walked towards the beast not caring if it sensed or heard him.

Yuri knew chances of survival would be way better if he quickly dealt with any beast he came across, but he wouldn't grow as a swordsman or gain much experience.

'Only way to get stronger is to fight head on against anyone or anything I come across.'

"Yo." Yuri said, trying to get his prey's attention.

His voice echoed through the dense forest. The beast before him, a Boarixus, known for its deadly charge and razor sharp tusks, heard Yuri and turned around, setting its eyes upon him.

'Those tusks look majestic. I wonder what could be made out of them.' Yuri thought as he burst forward taking the initiative.

Speed blitzing the boar, Yuri got first blood as he slashed at the boar's neck leaving it wounded.

Not giving the boar a second, Yuri continued his relentless assault. The clash of steel against the Boarixus's hardened hide echoed through the forest, a testament to Yuri's relentless assault.

With each precise slash, Yuri's blade sang a deadly tune. The Boarixus, enraged by the stinging cuts that marred its flesh, charged with reckless abandon.

Yuri easily dodged its charge, but the creature was not deterred. It continued its rampage, its tusks and hooves clattering against the ground with each step.

Yuri's swordplay was a dance of death, each step calculated, each movement a stroke of genius. He feinted left, then pivoted right, his blade slicing through the space where the Boar's head had been a fraction of a second earlier. The beast's tusks grazed Yuri's tunic, a near miss.

As the Boarixus reared back for another charge, Yuri leapt forward, his sword a flash of light aimed at the creature's underbelly. The Boarixus twisted, barely avoiding a fatal blow, but not the deep gash that Yuri's blade left across its shoulder.

The beast roared, a sound that shook leaves from the trees, but Yuri was already moving, his sword a blur of motion.

He ducked under a swipe of the Boarixus's massive head, feeling the rush of air as the tusks passed overhead. In a single, fluid motion, Yuri rose and brought his sword down in a powerful arc, aiming for the junction of the beast's neck and shoulder.

The Boarixus bellowed in pain, the sound mingling with the clatter of Yuri's sword as it struck true.

Blood spattered the forest floor. The boar's strength slowly faded as the battle went on. Yuri's face was set in a grimace of concentration, his eyes alight with the thrill of the fight.

Eventually, the Boarixus's movements grew sluggish, its roars less fearsome. Yuri sensed the change and pressed to his advantage. He darted in and opened a deep wound along the Boarixus's flank. The beast staggered, its legs buckling under its weight.

With a final strike Yuri quickly mounted the beast and sent his blade straight through its skull.

Yuri stood over it, his chest heaving, his sword dyed in the crimson blood of the boar.

With a maniacal grin splitting his face, Yuri tilted his head back and let out a chilling laugh.

His voice, when he finally spoke, was laced with anticipation that sent shivers through the air.

"Four more to go," he whispered.

His expression was one of sheer, unadulterated hunger for a fight, a look that would haunt the dreams of any who saw it.
