So that dirty pool of water in room 2. I'm going to consume it. I focus my attention on the water and

Dirty water added to liquids.

Cool that means I can make it -1 mana for 30 gallons. That's a lot of water. Room three is a bason and it would be a shame not to use it as such. Add 120 gallons of nasty water to room 3. Then as I said that i lost 4 mana (-4 mana) and a black spot appeared at the bottom of the bason, from there it grew to a large dark spot four feet wide and began to shoot water out like a hose and within minutes the bason was mostly full now something to check I spawned a single beetle directly above the water. A black spot formed on the ceiling and from it a small black pustule formed and within seconds popped the black goo evaporated and a small beetle fell into the water with a plop. It then floated to the surface and swam a little before hopping out of the water. So they can swim ok.

Now I'm making a small hole about the size of a fist over by the door that leads out of the cave just over the lip of the water. There in that hole is a small 3 feet by 3 feet room that's where I'm spawning my first swarm. (swarm -30 bio -3 soul -10 mind) Like with the beetle a dark spot is formed then a black pustule. But instead of one there are a lot of them and when they finish spawning then try to leave the hole “hey stop” they did Huh so I can order my monsters around, that's something I should have checked already. “Only leave the hole when someone starts a fight in this room.” They can't talk but I get a feeling that they listened. Now something else to check, I spawned a monster beetle ( -30 bio -5 soul -2 mind) . It forms much the same as the smaller beetle black spot into a pustule that pops and the black stuff evaporates. (-30 bio -5 soul -2 mind) The pustule was much bigger this time the beetle was a lot like the smaller beetle but the M-beetle was 3 feet tall and 4 wide with the same long antenna. It clung to the wall “hey you stay on the ceiling and vomit on anyone who comes in then drop on them.” the same feeling that they follow my orders washes over me.

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

Room 3 was done now for room 2. I only have thirty three bio left. So I'm left with the normal black horned snakes. I guess I’ll use 5 n-snakes. I carved out five holes in the wall near the door to room 3. The holes are big enough for the snakes to hide in but little else. And then I spawned 5 n-snakes which takes me down to 3 bio. Damn it I need more bio. The five snakes spawned like the others but when the pop was heard a sake was there instead of a bug. “Hey, will you guys fight for me?” they respond not just with a feeling but a nod from each of them. So the snakes are smarter than the bugs. It makes sense they do use more mind.

But I learned that animals I make or employ also are under my command. So that's big. As for room 2 . . . it feels incomplete, sure five snakes are good and all but I don't think they are enough. Wait, I still have traps! Well I have one, but I can make more and the best place to start is the pig iron I started with. It's low quality even a novice like can tell but it's heavy and can hold an edge that's all that matters. I'll start with a simple long thin spike of pig iron. I pull out a black spot from the ground and instead of letting the pustule it form a block of iron I pull it with my mind and it obeys,

Nice so I can change the properties of any item I make. Now for a spring, the spring takes 2 hours before I can get it right. My floor is littered with the shoddy springs. I know what a spring looks like but I guess that I'm just not that good at this dungeon thing I was born yesterday after. Chuckling at my joke.

Pig iron wire added to parts

Parts? That's a new one. The only part I have is the spring and the wire. If I make a cog is that a part? But right now I dissolved the several non-springs that line my core room. Same as with the spike, I cant have clutter in MY house. Even if my house is a cave. So now the hard part, a spring powered spike trap. So I dug a two inch diameter hole straight down 3 feet. Then I added a beefy spring in that hole. It is two and a half feet with a two foot spike on top. Then I dug a second smaller hole less than a inch wide and connected the first hole. I then made long metal clips onto the spike. And with a stone lip the pole will hang on so the pole will keep the spike in place and if it's moved, for example by someone stepping on the lip, I broke the lip. The spike shot out from the hole and impaled itself on the ceiling. Well I didn't make the spike stop once it fully extended so I guess I should of seen that coming.

Spike launch trap added to traps

Well it's a feature now. I'm going to add seven more. So with that room 2 is finished, snakes aren't heavy enough to activate the traps but if a person were to step in the wrong spot. Yikes.
