In a world vastly different from his own, Ichirou, a boy who had reincarnated, awoke on the morning of his twelfth birthday. His uncle's lack of contact throughout the week had filled him with sadness. As he lay in bed, he couldn't help but feel uneasy.
When he opened his eyes, Ichirou was met with a room unfamiliar to him. His reflection in the mirror revealed a face that was foreign. Confusion washed over him, disorienting and bewildering him.
Just then, a girl entered the room. She approached him with a warm smile, calling him "brother." Ichirou's mind raced as he struggled to reconcile this new information with his memories. He had never had a sister before. Or had he? The conflicting memories swirled in his head, creating chaos and uncertainty.
"I am Kael, no, I am Ichirou," he muttered to himself, trying to make sense of his jumbled thoughts.
His sister, concerned by his disjointed words, asked if he was alright. Ichirou felt as though his brain was on the verge of exploding, unable to comprehend the reality that was unfolding before him.
Overwhelmed by confusion and uncertainty, Ichirou decided to go with the flow. He followed his sister's lead, allowing her to guide him through this strange new world. His stomach growled loudly, reminding him of his hunger. His sister chuckled and said, "Here is your food."
As he took the plate from her, a wave of emotions washed over him. He was grateful for her kindness, but he also felt a profound sense of loss and longing for the life he had left behind.
Now that Kael was done with his food and thanked his sister, he slowly starts to remember why he is stuck in this room. When he finally reached the age of eight, he could finally start using an element. Most nobles have inherited elements, and you usually have to find an element that looks like a square about the size of a baseball. But unfortunately for Kael, he had a rare occurrence of getting rejected by the "Fortune Element," which usually noble families have to inherit a specific element.
Stolen story; please report.
Kael's sister, Eleanor, tried to comfort him, but he was devastated. He had always dreamed of becoming a powerful elemental mage, and now his hopes were dashed. He didn't understand why he had been rejected by the Fortune Element, but he knew that it was a sign of bad luck.
Kael's parents were disappointed that he didn't get the fortune, which only came once in a lifetime. Even though Kael was smart and did well in school, his parents were still angry with him. They were afraid that his weakness would make them look bad to others, so they kept him away from everyone.
Kael's sister, Eleanor, tried to make him feel better by laughing and giving him a gift for his birthday. Kael was happy to get the gift, but he was still worried about his uncle, who had left him.
"Are you okay, Kael?" Eleanor asked, noticing the flicker of sadness in his eyes.
"I'm fine," he replied, forcing a smile. "It's my birthday, after all. I should be happy."
Eleanor nodded, understanding his mixed emotions. "Well, cheer up," she said cheerfully. "I have something else for you."
She quickly went to retrieve something from the other room. When she returned, Kael noticed she was holding something behind her back.
"Close your eyes," she instructed.
Kael did as she asked, his heart pounding with anticipation. A moment later, Eleanor said, "You can open them now."
As Kael opened his eyes, he gasped with astonishment. Eleanor was holding a stunningly crafted sword, its handle decorated with detailed carvings and its blade shining brightly in the sunlight.
"A sword?" Kael stammered, his eyes wide with wonder. "And it's made by the Alcad Family?"
The Alcad Family was renowned for their exceptional swordsmithing skills, and their blades were highly sought after by warriors across the land.
Kael leaped into Eleanor's arms, overwhelmed with joy. "Thank you, Eleanor!" he exclaimed.
"Be careful, you might hurt yourself with the sword," Eleanor cautioned, laughing.
After a few moments, Eleanor had to leave for family reasons, but she left Kael with his new sword. He couldn't wait to start training with it.
Ever since his parents began hating him, Kael had dedicated himself to daily training. He was determined to become strong enough to protect himself and those he cared about.
However, Kael had a unique challenge to overcome. He had been given the element of electricity, which was considered one of the weakest elements due to its limited abilities. Despite this, Kael was determined to prove that even with a low-class element, he could become a formidable warrior.
"It's time for my training!" he bellowed with determination.
