Altima put it on the Stone Slab where the leader of the Volcanic Bullet-Head Beetle used to rest, and allow the others to have a try to unrevealed the treasure within the weird casing.
Qing Yi and Shi-Wen Qing go ahead and tried first, but failed. The treasure doesn’t even absorb any of their Kan and Zhui remnant essence at all.
Fang Mu tried with his Xun remnant essence, and Wu Chung tried with his Li remnant essence as well but failed without causing any reaction at all.
But as the turn reach Gu Pang, the case moved for a split second, causing a shock to the six of them within the nest.

Fang Mu, being the most impatient among all, hurried Gu Pang to inject his Zhen remnant essence into the casing.

With the circle of nature among this (Refine - Temper - Absorb) chain, Gu Pang body encountered drastic changes.
His body quickly get adapted to the Raging Thunder that circling within his body without stopping, and soon, a Thunder Soul Body is created within his Body, and after an exchange, a stronger, taller and bulkier version of Gu Pang appeared within the Soul Body portal.

Without anymore pushing here and there, The five of them spend some time to explore and harvest all available remnant essence within the nest, while allowing Gu Pang to nicely refine the heart.
After spending about three more days within the nest, Gu Pang finally completely refine the Heart and obtain the ability of Lightning-Fusion Body, which allows him to move double to triple the speed compared to Altima in his fastest speed.
In their next 5 days, due to the increase of strength among the group, Their harvest and material hunting become even easier. With two Soul Stage Cultivator helping in the Soul Pellet refining, their significant boost in strength very quickly become visible.
Soon but not too close, Qing Yi should be the next to thread into Soul Stage, and followed by Wu Chung and Wen Qing. Few male cultivator followed a trail of medicinal smells and thread deeper into the Eastern Path.

By the side of the cavern, a mix of around 10 Male cultivators and 3 Female cultivators is seen becoming the living fertilizer for the newly grown Demoness Lotus Roots. Naked and roots could be seen growing from all over their body, it is a view that seems so horrible to be imagined.
"I Don’t want to be a fertilizer like them too!"
One cultivator screamed, and escape without looking back. But before he manages to make his next step, his whole body already lost their sense and control.
Fall down, and paralyzed, the cultivator quickly get wrapped by the roots, before a thicker root is shoved into his throat, and soon, a few new sprouts began to grow within his body, and protrude out from his flesh.
As he still has some feeling of pain and nervous, the veins that manage to grow by using his blood and flesh, manage to quickly break his sanity and confidence, before he manages to kill himself.
At the end, a total of 5 more cultivators is all alive, but better be dead instead. They were seeded and used as the replacement of the soil.
