Annah’s Pov

Genius, that’s what they called me

The pure crystallization of talent

Something that can’t be described with normal words

A Martial Artist so strong, she single-handedly shaped the underground world of murim

Her Ki was so dark, It is said that even a pitch black room is brighter in comparison.

But If I am so strong, then why couldn’t I stop them? Stop them from killing my family, raping my little brother and sister, slitting the throats of their mother right in front of them. I was a shell of my former self. My mind felt like it was an abyss of nothingness. I hated this world. How dare they touch something of mine, I should kill them all. So I did. I slaughtered millions of people with my hands, ripping out the throats of children, smashing the testicles of men, destroying everything. I didn’t care, I just wanted this nothingness to end. When they finally managed to stop me, It was too late. The damage was done. Nature was destroyed to an irreparable level. Soon, nothing would be left of the world. When I felt my life force slowly ebb out of me, I heard a voice.

“Do you wish for another chance, Oh evil human?”

“Another chance at what?” I ask

“Another chance to slaughter. To feel the blood of your enemies on your hands. You are not meant for this world, you are meant for mine.” The voice said

“Is there anyone strong there?” I ask

“There are people who could kill you without blinking” It said

At this I smiled. “I accept”

Suddenly, a white light flashed in front of my eyes

The first thing I noticed was the darkness. It was pitch black, with something akin to solid ground underneath my feet. A scan of my Ki revealed nothing irregular had happened with my body. I had always trained in my free time, so I decided to meditate. When I did, I discovered something shocking. This place expanded for millions of miles, and my powers were also increased greatly.

“Darkness does compliment darkness” I thought.

“Are you liking the strength?” a voice suddenly said. I whirled around in an instant. Nothing has ever snuck up on me.

“Do not be afraid, this is more or less my realm” The voice said. It was coming from everywhere.

“I will be less afraid when you show yourself” I respond

“Fair enough” it replied. Suddenly, the darkness in front of me showed a beautiful girl who was dressed in rags.

“Who are you?” I asked

“I am… Clarissa Monique von Alvenstead”

“Long name” I commented. At this she laughed, a beautiful laugh that I wanted to hear more of.

“I have a request for you, Sadie Elric” she said.

“I will listen, though I may not accept.”

“I am afraid this request is non negotiable” she countered. “I have glimpsed into the future” she began.”But first, I shall show you the past.” A dark light began to glow on my forehead, and before I could ask what she was doing thousands of images flew into my head at once. Images of a young girl born with extreme magical power and affinity to the element of darkness. Fearing her power and growing respect, the gods came down to kill her. Instead, she killed seven of them before she died. This girl has my respect.

“In the future, I shall summon a being from another world, much like yourself. I did this all out of anger, not realizing the consequences it would have.He will grow too strong too quickly, going out of my sphere of influence. He will then trade my powers for even greater powers. He will cause a massive disruption among this world, causing millions of deaths. He will grow too strong for even the gods to handle. I wish for you to kill him” she says with a hint of sadness in her voice.

“So you want one mass murderer to take out another one?” I say with a little venom in my voice.”Why should I help you, when you will most likely turn around and kill me.” To my utter shock, she said

“Correct. After you have killed him, your body will cease to exist. I have broken many laws doing what I am doing, but before I am punished I wish to correct my other wrongs.”

“If you are doing this in the future, why don’t you just not do it?”

“Because it has already happened. The child has already been born and fused with my power. When I absorbed the powers of seven gods, I could not handle it, so I split myself in two when I entered the void.”

“He is the owner of the other half of my power, though it is much weaker than me. I cannot directly interfere with the mortal realm, so I will give you the greater half of my power. You will hunt him down and kill him.”

“So tell me. Why should I do this for you?” I asked again.

“You lust for the greatest fight you can ever find. In your  previous world, no one could fulfil it. This man will bring you the ultimate fight.”

This is reason enough for me. “Fine, I’ll kill this man. What is his name?”

“Aizen. Aizen von Alvenstead” She said.

At this I smiled. “Well aren’t you cruel, killing your own blood.”

“Shut up” she said. I then felt a sharp pain in my heart. I looked down to see something akin to a blade stabbing through my heart.

“Congratulations My King, My queen, It is a girl!”

This chapter is short, but I plan on going back to the original length after. Like the plot twist? I did!
