Day 9

Our adventure is long and fraught with dangers, but I am ready for it—or rather, we are ready for it. Everyone depends on us, each for their own reasons. Some are concerned about saving a particular person and do not want to see them die, while others, like me, care about everyone. I want to save everyone, even those who have wronged me. I don't know where this sense of responsibility comes from. We have one year—one year to save everyone who has lost hope in life, everyone who has dreams and goals to achieve. This burden is on my shoulders. I am Sarutobi, and I will save everyone without exception. To do this, I must face challenges that no one else has faced.

I met with the leader of the Kojo to arrange a meeting with the Dojo and get to know them. I have many questions for them, as they know a lot about this world and its secrets, including the secrets of mana and jewels. The leader asked me to reveal my intentions—whether I wanted to attack or annihilate the Moju. The Dojo are indeed strange beings. I don't understand why they don't demand what is rightfully theirs. But that doesn't matter now.

The leader and I arrived at the Dojo's hideout, and several guards emerged, ready for attack. The leader stepped forward, greeted them, and expressed his desire to meet their queen. They allowed the leader to enter but refused to let me in. The queen did not approve of my entry. I understand; I am a stranger to them.

After some time, a guard approached me, stared at me, and then told me to follow him. I trailed behind him, not knowing where he was taking me. Suddenly, I saw the leader on the ground and the queen standing over him, about to kill him. As soon as she saw me, she said, "You have two choices: either return to where you came from and leave the leader here, or—" Before she could finish, I rushed to attack her, but the guards stopped me. Amidst the chaos, I heard laughter. It seemed to be the leader laughing. He stood up, and the queen stood beside him as if they had never been fighting. It was all just a test for me. The leader smiled and said, "I didn't think you would pass the queen's test. You have earned my respect."

After things calmed down, I sat with the leader and the queen, and she began speaking. It seemed the conversation would be lengthy. She started with a question that shocked me. "You are not from our world, and your world will be destroyed. I do not know what your plan is or why you aim to attack the Moju. Do you really expect me to believe that you will attack them just to help the Kojo? Do you think I am naive?" She continued, smiling, "We could reclaim our kingdom and rule, but there is a reason we don't, and that reason is you—residents of other worlds. The story began before the existence of the Moju. One of our wizards created a panel using mana and jewels that showed us the branches of the universe, a network of multiverses and different worlds. That was when we realized this was the most dangerous discovery in the universe." My eyes widened as I listened, and she continued speaking.
