I woke up in the morning to the sound of my mother calling me. How I missed these moments! If only time could go back, and I could find my mother and father in the morning, waiting for me to come down from my room for breakfast, both smiling. Regret is of no use now; I must face the fact that those times will never return.
After washing my face, I sat down and saw my mother looking at me with a strange expression. I asked her, "Mom, what's wrong?" She replied, "I need you to accompany me to the shop today to help me out. Many people have come to the city, and we have a lot of visitors." Before she could finish, I told her I agreed, even though I was busy preparing for our battle with the Mojo.
At the shop, my mother was making ramen, and I was serving the customers. Surprisingly, it was enjoyable. People seemed to have adapted to the situation, and their smiles gave me a glimmer of hope. These are the people I fight for. The day ended, and my mother made me a delicious bowl of ramen. I realized I need to spend more time with her. I had neglected her, not thinking she felt lonely. I had been selfish. My father was her daily companion, and when he left, she didn't grieve much because she was busy. But now, I will make it up to her.
I decided to take a break from the other world for a while, for another reason too. The being with the eyes saw me defeat the jewel guardian, and if our world hasn't been destroyed yet, something is holding them back. I suspect it has to do with the box I found. I'll leave things for now and try to spend more time with my mother and my friend, Loki. I had neglected her too, forgetting that this was the time she needed me most. Despite standing by me, she lost her parents, which is a tough thing. Loneliness is terrible.

I called Loki and asked her to meet at our favorite spot, a park near the school. We sat, and I saw a fake smile on her face. I really had neglected her. I hugged her and told her she didn't have to bear it alone. I felt her tears on my shoulder. She had been holding on with difficulty, which in itself is admirable. We walked a bit, and she told me she was scared of what awaited us, especially after our first battle, which we barely survived. I held her hand and said, "As long as we're breathing, there's hope. I will fight till the last moment, and we will save our world, Loki." She came closer, placing her forehead against mine. I felt her breath on my face, saw my life in her eyes. We drew closer, and in an overwhelming moment, I kissed her, our lips pink. We stayed still, as if resting from a heavy burden through our kiss. Our bodies stayed warm against each other, and I confirmed my feelings for Loki. This added another reason to save our world more than ever. I love her, and the question now is, does she love me too?
We parted when her phone rang, and she went home. I returned to my room, almost dying of happiness. It seemed I would think about our kiss all night. As I tried to sleep, I had a sudden urge to visit the other world. If only I hadn't. What I found there shocked me and made everything crumble before me.
