Day 17

Things have gotten more complicated than necessary, and I don’t know what I will face. Will my plan succeed or fail? It really depends on me. I contacted Loki and informed her of what was happening, and asked her to bring her 3D printer—we’ll need it to replicate the box. This will require effort. Loki arrived and brought the printer. Upon seeing the Queen’s daughter, she was surprised and warned me about her.

We started working. I sketched the exterior design and measurements on the computer for printing. It seems the task will take a long time, possibly all night. I told Loki to go to Zano and bring him. All our plans have changed; we need to move quickly and execute a precise attack. If it doesn’t succeed, everyone will perish. Our trump card is this box. I have a feeling that once we hand over the real box, we will lose everything, so I will protect it with my life.

We began printing, which took time. After three hours, we hadn’t reached 50% of the shape. Meanwhile, I talked to the Queen’s daughter, whose name is Lian. She has a distinct beauty unlike the other Dojo people. She appeared sad due to what happened to them. I tried to comfort her and promised revenge for both of us, assuring her she would be a just future queen. It seemed our planet’s environment didn’t suit her, as she showed signs of weakness. I gave her a mana pill and some of the late Queen’s crown powder, which made her feel better. She shouldn’t stay long in our world, as it could be fatal.

By morning, I had finished making the model, which was indistinguishable from the original. I hid the real one and decided I wouldn’t hand it over, even at the cost of my life. There are many reasons why I don’t want to surrender it. If the creature with eyes wanted to destroy us, he would have done so using the board discovered by the Dojo. This box is connected to the board and is our trump card in this battle.

When Loki and Zano returned, we prepared, taking the fake box and returning to the Mojo world with Lian. We are now trying to lure the creature that killed our comrades—the Queen, Kai, and Kojo. How will we lure him into our trap? We must wait for his first move, then give him the fake box, surround him, and destroy him. Despite this, I fear we may lose control and end up dead.

Kojo brought a large amount of mana, which I distributed to the group after mixing it with the late Queen’s crown powder, giving them unprecedented energy. A Mojo appeared, seemingly unarmed, and approached the Kojo colony, where they captured him. When presented to Lian, he revealed he was a messenger from the creature with eyes, whose name is Kaido. He told us we had one day to surrender the box, or Kaido would attack with full force and leave no one alive. I told the messenger we would hand over the box personally and showed it to him to convince him. The messenger returned unscathed to inform Kaido of our condition.

We received no response from Kaido. We don’t know his reaction to our condition. If he accepts easily, it means he is difficult to defeat. If he refuses, he is cautious and will react differently, making us regret it. After some time, Kaido appeared before us. We were not prepared for his appearance at that moment. Nonetheless, Lian stalled him while we retrieved the fake box. I handed it to him, and as soon as he grabbed it, he took out a key. I felt the danger; he would insert the key and discover the box was fake, which would mark our end.
