"This isn't good!"
I open the door in a panic.
Please don't splash me with shit.
There's no longer a pool of shit, but the place is filthy and covered in brown stains.
Hessien is on the floor, covered in shit. His eyes are wide open and he's twitching.
I ask from a distance with my arm blocking my nose, "Are you alive?"
His eyes move to me, but he says nothing.
Ghomas doesn't even enter; he asks me, "Is he alive?"
I show a thumbs up.
Vacinay pinches her nose as she looks at him. "You okay, buddy?"
No response.
Ah, damn. There's a shower nearby. It would be best to get him washed immediately.
I move over to the shower, but the walls are too high, so I have to push myself up to get in.
After that, I open a tap, causing the faucet to stream purple water.
I point at Vacinay, "Get him there."
She cringes. "He is covered in shit, though... but I guess I don't have much of a choice."
She removes her shit and uses it as a glove to drag him to the shower.
However as soon as he sees the water and the faucet, he grabs Vacinay's leg, halting her.
He grabbed her with his shit-covered hands...
"Ahhhh! What the hell!" She jumps back, accidentally slides and falls.
Yikes...
She quickly gets herself off the ground with disgust in her eyes.
She looks at Hessien with rage.
"You are lucky you are already half dead..." she mutters before grabbing his arm and throwing him under the shower.
When the water touches him, he responds by screaming, "Get me out of here! Anything in this bathroom is cursed with monster fluids!"
He attempts to use me as a sort of shield from the water.
"Your hands!" I desperately escape his attack. It doesn't take long for him to jump out of the shower.
Okay, new plan, since this guy is scared of anything associated with the bathroom.
I ask the guards who are just staring,,"Is there some kind of river...? Like, a body of water or something?"
Water looks blue because of the sky, right? So I'm hoping that means it would be blue...
One of them answers, "I have no idea what is a river, but there are springs."
Ah yes, I forgot springs are formed from underground water.
"Yes, that. Please take us to a near one," I reply.
We walk out of the city with huge sheets over us so that people can't recognize us.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Why is that? Because of Hessien's smell.
I don't bother looking at the infrastructure, since my eyes are focused on the ground. Also, it's night.
After about an hour of being escorted by a guard, we enter a forest and come across a spring... To be honest; it seems like a river because of the continuous downward flow of water.
Vacinay crouches low and pokes it a couple of times. "It's purple too..."
She sighs. "I honestly don't care anymore. I need to get this off me!" She dives in it.
Based on how deep she dived in, it seems it's quite deep.
She swims back up, wipes the water off her face and calls Hessien. "There are no weird freaks in it; you can come."
Hessien shakes his head, refusing. "What if one shows up later?"
"There aren't any! Look at me."
He still refuses.
"I will be there with you."
Again, he refuses.
She is about to say something else, but she gives up.
Hm. I ask her, "Were you afraid of the water back in the shower too? You could have gotten the filth off you back in the bathroom."
She replies as she floats around. "Uh… Kinda? Not really. For some stupid ass reason, I thought by doing this, I would show Hessien's dumbass that the water is safe. If there is a monster in the 'toilet' or shitter as they called it, I know for sure he would think there is a monster in the spring too."
That makes sense. Quite nice of her, too. Obviously, I would have done that if she wasn't there. But, I'm really bad at swimming and to be quite frank, because of how deep this thing is, I'm very much scared of it also having a monster.
Well, since nothing has happened to her yet, I guess it's safe.
For some reason, a joke comes to my head.
I snicker as I say, "You know, Vacinay, there could be a tentacle monster in that."
She moves her eyes onto me. "You know, I could clearly see you have some type of weird anime-porn addiction."
"What?! How the hell did you come up with that conclusion?"
She swims to the shore and walks out. "I go in a body of water. I mention water monsters. Your first thought. 'Ghaha. Tentacle monster.'"
… She makes a good point.
"Whatever."
She smiles brightly. "I was messing around. If there was one, don't worry, I would make sure it takes you first."
"Not funny," I reply.
"It's funny to me. Anyway, let's coordinate an attack on Hessien and force him into the water."
Ghomas can help... but seeing how quiet he is and how far he is away from Hessien, I kinda doubt he would be willing, too.
Hessien notices us moving over to him, and as expected, he starts drawing back. Then, he raises his hand to the sky, releasing the light mist.
Despite the fact the mist is light, because it's currently dark, it makes seeing him much more difficult.
"Ah, no." Vacinay picks up a stone and throws it in the direction of where Hessien was standing.
"Ouch!" He screams out.
That's fast... I, kind of worry about that seriously harming him, but I kinda doubt it did.
"Shit! It hurts!" he wails.
We make our way towards him, following his constant swearing. He's rocking his leg back and forth in pain.
Ah, so that's where it hit him. Just being near him reminds me of his damn smell.
Vacinay and I grab him by his limbs. He struggles and tries to resist, but it's futile. So instead, he starts calling for Ghomas, "Ghomas! Help me! Save me!"
Does he think we are going to kill him?
Ghomas simply salutes him. "All the best."
"Traitor!" he shouts.
As we move closer to the spring, he struggles even more, but it's already too late for him. We throw him in.
"No—!" His words are cut off and replaced with a loud splash.
"Get me—"
He goes underwater, then forces his head up, and thrashs around.
Oh right… this guy can't swim.
Vacinay is more than frustrated. "I thought he could swim! He said he could!"
"Well, he lied. You know what you gotta do." I sit down.
She leers at me before running to his rescue.
Hm… Now that I think about it, isn't it said that being near a person when they are drowning is a bad thing since they would pull you down? So you have to help them with a log or a material from a distance?
"Ah!" He grabs onto Vacinay in a panic.
Before she can cry out, she's pulled deep into the water.
Yeah…
Ghomas is about to jump in to save them, but I stop him.
"Make a clone so we can use it as a rope," I tell him.
"Got it!"
He makes a single clone and goes into the water to extend it to Hessien.
He desperately tries to get a hold of it, but he can barely move from his location.
That should be an easy fix.
"Ghomas, make another clone for you to use as a rope between me and you," I say.
"Uh… Right, right." He does exactly that.
While the clone is splitting from him, I make sure to look away.
"Help—" Hessien is now running out of energy.
"You bitc—" Vacinay, who barely managed to swim back up gets pulled back under the water's surface by Hessien.
If he wasn't in such a panicked state, it would look like he was trying to kill her.
Ghomas holds the clone's leg meant for Hessian and the leg of the other one meant to function as a rope between him and me.
Hessien gets a hold of the first clone, which makes it easy for us to pull him to the shore.
Vacinay swims up to the surface after a couple of seconds. She's breathing hard and coughing up water.
It doesn't take long for her to crawl towards us. She collapses while coughing up water.
I show her a thumbs-up. "I am happy you and Hessien are safe and sound."
"Whatever..." She sighs before saying, "I am kinda happy too. But I am going to get this bastard back for nearly getting me killed."
