RE: Wisp of the Elves
Chapter 3.0 - My First Elf

Chapter 3.0 - My First Elf

How must a teacher feel before a class?

I mean, the responsible one?

“Will the students be sensible?”

Perhaps like that.

But it should also be like:

“I hope I will make a good impression and actually do my job well.”

Actually, I now feel like one.

A teacher.

One thing is to create units in an RTS game, and another is to have them as your real-life subordinates.

Subordinates who may lack in the understanding of the world.

Yay.

Let’s share my choices with you:

Dungeon menu Selected race: Elves (level: 1)

Wooden hut - 70p

Elven hut - 110p

Elven lamp - 40p

Elven hammock - 40p

Elven watchtower - 400p

Simple mana well - 700p

Simple axe - 20p

Elven rope - 40p

Elven cloak - 70p

Elven bag - 50p

Elven dagger - 50p

"..."

Now, if those are your cards, how would you play them?

You know I can get 240 points a day.

Which is enough for one villager and his things.

Not much.

So what would be the point of having an elven village?

My guess is that it would raise my fast, and I could perhaps buy new things in the menu.

But we both know how it would went, right?

Imagine being a month without any means to defend yourself properly, being anxious every day if the enemies will come.

No, I dont’ want that.

I can almost see me raising a flag here by using that approach.

Moreover, the strategy games back on our Earth have somewhat developed, right. And based on the established strategies the proper thing is to take long-term steps for your army starting in the very beginning.

So I decided to go by one very overpowered elf for now.

Well, ‘overpowered’ by my relative means.

Here goes the elven archer!

Apparently, you can’t choose the gender.

And its… a man.

Huh.

Why ‘huh’, you wonder, perhaps?

That’s because he’s almost naked.

But at least he got a name above him.

“Aimon”

Good.

You got 600 dungeon points left.

Now is the shopping spree for my sole adventurer.

The rope (-40), the dagger (-50), the outfit (-40), the cloak (-70)

and the hammock for him (-40).

Do you also think we should buy the refined bow?

But I got 275p now.

285, once I will harvest one tree. Still not enough to buy a quiver, that bow and the arrows.

And while I feel safe in this forest by myself, an innocent new elf is basically screaming for any evil creatures to attack him.

Elven quiver (-30), Elven bow (-140), two sets of the cheap version of arrows (-20).

20 points left.

“...”

And one elf, just standing there, looking at the items around him.

Can’t he figure out those items are for him?

I hope his lack of understanding was not taken one step further because his hair is blonde - he would be like me then!

...have you for example ever tried to put a toothbrush on a toothpaste, and not the other, usual way around?
