-Ahhh the light! I can’t see it but I can definitely feel it!!!-
Is what I first thought when I made it out to the other side that and how I felt all sticky...
Then as I was still getting my self readjusted I could have sworn I was forgetting something important I just couldn’t remember what it was until...
“Wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”
That’s right a normal old fashion practice is to stimulate the newborn usually with a slap on the bum to get them to take their first breaths and I totally forgot to brace myself for that as in the modern era we had less barbaric ways to help stimulate their breathing while back then if we don’t cry it’s considered a sign to “lightly” smack them.
Tell you what though, if your a baby and a adult “lightly” smacks you it’s still going to feel like hell is unleashed in your body after being stuck in a environment where you experienced no pain on your physical body usually. Almost as bad as having a toe halfway cut off by a piece of tile I’ll tell you, just you don’t feel as light headed. So, worse basically, though, your not gonna die from it but you’ll wish you would.

After that I felt myself being rinsed with cool water and pat dryer then put in a thin blanket that I will probably name Sally.
After all that I started muttering curses at the doctor for all this pain I was put through as I was handed presumably back to my mother, however, I couldn’t be sure as I was still suffering and can’t see while listening to them babbling on and on in a language I don’t understand, though, judging by the dialect and what I assume is nouns it seems like it’s similar to a mixture of a multitude of different languages primarily being a mix of Egyptian dialect with nouns scattered about in English, Russian, and Cherokee. This is gonna be a pain as I forgot most of my Russian classes from elementary school and I studied Black Foots dialect and only partially learned some of Cherokee’s as a further reference.
That means I’m going to have to learn this language from basically scratch and my former knowledge will get in the way of my new learning experience.
I knew then and there this is going to be one long childhood...
