~1 year later~

At this point I understand a good gist of the language and have learned I am now a Half Elf who has a mother who is a Duchess of the Shal’zar Empire, which is a mighty empire ruled by the descendants of dragons the Kal’ar; a species that looks similar to a human who has golden scales that look almost like skin and have wings that they can fold to look like a cloak, and my father is a lesser noblemen of the Elven Dominion Thalisar.

Due to the recent upheaval of worlds where multiple sentient species had been put in one world together and scattered all around wars became very normal for about 300 years and now it has been another 12 centuries since the last major war and all but the longest living species have shrugged the differences and hatred aside for a peaceful like setting.

From what I know there are 3 species who would still have the fresh memories of the major wars here and they are; elves who live roughly 2000 years, Kal’ar who live an average of 4500 years, and the People of the Plants(i.e. Trent’s, Dryads, exc.). There might be more, however, these are the only ones I met or heard about so far.

Another “interesting” thing I learned is that I am actually a unexpected “surprise” as the relationship my parents have had been mainly due to political gains and they weren’t really expecting a child for at least another hundred years due to the infertility of both species and the fact that I am a mix of Elf and Kal’ar, which the Kal’ar biology is dominant and as will my descendants as Kal’ar “genes” like dragons are very dominating in ones physiology.

I am going to have to suppose that other species also have dominating or less dominating genes in them which would prevent the species from merging over time, however, thus far I can only make conjectures and I probably will have to do research in-depth of the “upheaval” to make anything more conclusive about this, though as I am more a physicist than a biologist I will have to put this aside for now.

The reason why is that the being beforehand had mentioned a new “energy” or at least one that I can actually use or find as there were tales of it in the olden days of Earth, however, it “mysteriously disappeared” at some point and now I have the chance to study and comprehend it to stick it to that “Immortal” and show how great I am!

Also it turned out he was a bit nicer than I gave him credit for; only a bit though, as apparently the birth cycle isn’t 10 months like how I assumed, instead it was 16 months so that means I got to skip literally 11 months of darkness where I almost went crazy from only 5, the saying that there is no pain like child birth is wrong it’s really the process of development that is the most painful thing as it literally scratches away your mind and soul!
