Chapter 13: Another side chapter but still very important – I’m sorry for breaking your heart.

With Kanny-chan gone, Shiro cried for a whole week, and that was the reason why she didn’t answer Bob’s desperate prayers in the past. Then, as the young Goddess fell into deep dark depression, her whole world became filled with the white color of sadness. You may argue with me that it was already white in the first place, but that... was fluffy white! This time, it was a depressing sadness white, so it was totally different if you think about it carefully and logically.

There were, indeed, many shades of whites.

Furthermore, Shiro had cut contact with Kuro after what happened. Selling Kanny-chan against her will was an act of absolute cruelness and totally unforgivable. However, as time went by, she slowly thought things through and realized that Kuro was indeed the one who was right. So now…

“Kuro… I…,” sobbed Shiro, weakly and softly. “I… sorr…,”

The goddess girl was trying to say apologies to the god boy who had returned. But, if you think about it, Shiro was a girl, and it was so wrong for a girl to say sorry first, so...

“Ah, sorry,” Kuro said back, patting Shiro’s head. He knew what he had to do because he was a real men.

“Eh?”

“Well, I’m sorry for selling your favorite toy and breaking your heart into pieces,” Kuro replied. “But you have to know, that it breaks my heart too when you cried and refused to talk to me like that. However--”

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

Oops, something distracted Kuro.

...

Two large teary eyes, staring...

“Ahem!...” Kuro continued. “However!... I still think that was the right thing to do, because we really need that money right now and without it we won’t be able to …”

Thud…

Suddenly but softly, Shiro buried her face in Kuro’s chest.

“Sorry…”

...

Quiet moment of emotional disturbances, because no one said a word for a few minutes.

...

“Shiro…?” Kuro was the first one to break the silent.

“Kuro…” said Shiro, tightening both arms around Kuro.

“Yes?” Kuro replied.

“Will you… forgive me?”

“Oh…”

The boy then smiled.

...

“Baka.”

And so, just like that, the young God and Goddess made up with each other happily. It was such a good thing, because if they didn’t, then Bob was surely screwed because they were the only ones managing that new Isekai world after all. Thus, the project was resumed and Shiro answered Bob’s prayer just like in the previous chapters.

Actually…

They were not the ONLY ones...

kekekeke

There was still one other God who had yet to show his face. This God’s name was...

“Shiro, I think you should contact Furasshuu now. We’re going to finally pay him and have him fix the bugs.”

“Yes, right away!”

Yep! You read it correctly.

Adobi Furasshuu, the former God of Adobe Flash.
