What is this creature? I won't lie; it's pretty cute. Sora continued to think to herself what a strange world she was in producing such weird animals.
I don't think there is anything back on my planet like this. Sora reached her hand out to try and pet whatever this was in front of her, glaring into her eyes. When her hand was within reach, that's when the bat snarled and made a frightening face and bit her on the top of the hand. Sora cried out in pain, holding her hand, “Stupid bat !”
Sora's face was beaming red, and her hand began to swell up. A tear built up in the corner of her eye as she thought, that really hurt!
Sora lifted her hand in the air to smack the creature out of frustration, but it began to put on a cute puppy dog face, making a weird high-pitched noise towards her. Sora put her hand back down; she did not, after all, feel like hitting it, it would not make anything better, and she couldn't justify hitting it over something so small. After all, it was sort of her fault for being so direct with it; trying to touch its furry body, she continued to look in amazement, holding her hand that was now slowly dripping with blood from the two fang bite marks. Then, looking at the bat, she said, “Well, what do you want? What are you?”
The creature with no name did not look intelligent, but at the same time, it clearly was not a mindless beast. Sora could tell that much looking at it, she asked it, “Well are you going to answer me.” she asked it expecting it to speak. Then the noise of the creature beginning to start clicking its mouth could be heard by her as she listened to it start making a strange high tone pitch. (click, clack click BEEEEEEEP) This was uncomfortable for Sora; it felt like everything inside her head was scrambling; she quickly put her hands to cover her ears, trying to halt the assault on her eardrums. Before it could finish, Sora quickly started yelling,” Please, for all that is righteous, shut the hell up!” The creature stopped and looked at her again with its big blank wide eye stare. This thing is going to be annoying. I know it...
Sora was wide awake now after everything that just happened. When she left her little tent, she could see from the suns in the sky were positioned low. It was early in the morning that much she could deduce. The birds and other strange animals could be heard in the vast distance in the shrubs and trees of the forest, in the current situation Sora was in was not looking too good. There was now a bat creature with feathers around its neck in her company. The bat-like creature had small talons hanging from its tiny feet. As Sora continued her journey into the forest, it continued to fly around beside her like a companion pet. Sora never met this thing before, and why did it decide to follow her? She had no clue.
All Sora knew was, it was an odd creature that had a mean bite. It was way too early to deal with it; plus, it would probably beat her in a fight with her current situation. Now shrugging, before gathering her composure and getting up from the rock, she sat down for a break. Once she was standing around, she started stretching her limbs before looking at the creature and asking it, “What do I even call you?”
Sora then started listing some names off the top of her head, “Snarl, Bite?” But one name seems to pique the creature's interest, and that was “Pooki” The strange bat replied to it. The creature flew around in circles and made its famous noise. Sora next saying towards the creature, “Well, I guess you like your name? That makes you happy, aren't you, Pooki?”
The strange creature she started calling Pooki a while back continued to follow her along her travels through the woods. The terrain was rough twigs, and broken branches lay everywhere, with a creek running through the land. This is new; she started to relax for a bit and take another break, having been walking for a few hours. Sora was exhausted.
Along the way, she found what looked to be some berries and other strange fruit growing off on trees beside the creek and ate a few. That was what I must have smelt yesterday!
Sora continued grabbing all the fruits off the branches before placing them in her mouth and chewing on them. Yum, so yummy!

Sora’s eyes watering, seeing herself now in the water reflection, she thought. I am adorable.
The various fruits, when combined, tasted like an orange. Sora continued eating another handful before she turned and looked at the floating bat beside her and offered some to Pooki. Together they ate at a distance like a master and a feral dog. The Master with an untrained dog that when you threw food in the general direction of the beast, it would then snatch it up snarling.
However, Sora was not too worried as Pooki seemed to have loosened up throughout the day, and she didn't think this was too dangerous. Not anymore after spending so much time with it may be stupid but not harmful. Sora smiled, wondering what is this place she found herself lost in? Just then, crackling noise came from a bush across from where Sora was sitting. Inside the bush, the sound of sticks snapping and rustling of bushes. Sora became tense, afraid her stomach turned and sunk.
I wouldn't say I like where this is going...
Suddenly the air around Sora and Pookie began to get thick and heavy, with a dark Aurora emitting from the bushes. Sora could tell even Pooki now looked a little on edge. From the bushes, the two could hear a menacing low-pitched, growling noise. “Grrr...Woof...Grrr”
Out of the bushes poked a large wolf head. Sora saw as it emerged slowly. It was a large wolf with light brown fur, its fangs larger than a human's hand. Its fur coat was patchy, and it had a large scar across its left eye. It continued its approach towards the two snarlings at Sora and Pooki, barking lowering its head. The wolf's intimidating presence made Sora break out into a cold sweat. I don’t want to die, not by that!
Looking around frantically, she spotted a stick that was a thick branch. It got narrow towards the end and formed some point, sort of like a spear. Without a moment to spare, Sora sprung her right arm forward out to grab it; as Sora did that, the wolf on instinct attacked, leaping towards her barking, “Arooo woof.”
Sora grasped the stick that resembled a spear, yelling,” I don’t want to die!” Suddenly her ability, ‘Manifest former lives; activated.’ Sora began to glow, and the same white light that sent her here activated, temporarily radiating the area with unknown magical energy. Emerging from the beam of light. Now was a male monk. A bald, middle-aged man with light brown skin stood holding the spear Sora was holding before. The man had beads around his wrists and neck and was wearing an orange outfit. Then yelling out, “Monks discipline.” The ground below him cracked as the magic radiated from his feet. The rocks started to raise and lock him into place.
Sora lifted the spear to a 45-degree angle, then without any hesitation, he braced, preparing for the charge. The wolf let out a cry, “Aooouughhh...” It had been pierced by the spear when it jumped at Sora. Its weight and momentum carried the pointed stick into its left breast, piercing its tough hide momentarily taking the massive creature off guard. It was then Pookie hissed and, in a blink of an eye, flew over and slithered on top of the wolf-like snake and began sucking its blood. Panicking, the wolf tried to thrash, bucking and swaying left and right, but the stick was too long, and it was having trouble moving forward.
Plus, each time it did, the stuck planted restricting the wolf from attacking at the small bat Pookie, Sora now as the monk walked forward when he spoke he sounded different, “Have mercy on the soul of this poor creature and may it reincarnate as a beautiful butterfly.”
The pole was still lodged in the wolf's breast, but the long stick was no longer at its full length; no longer was the wolf pinned. Sora started running toward the wolf, noticing him, started snarling, showing off its large fangs.
However, it had taken a lot of damage, and Sora noticed the wolf's movements were starting to get sloppy; it started panting and staggering. The wolf now looked as if it was too injured to move, but perhaps it still had enough fight in it. If Sora were to get close, it may plunge and grab ahold of him with its jaws. But the monk Sora bobbed under the bite strike carefully. He leaned back as its right paw came swiping in from above. Then, he swept its feet out in a dancing-like motion and snapped its neck all in one motion. Once Sora eliminated the wolf, the white light shot down onto him. Now transforming the monk into the soft-faced short girl who went by Sora, she fell out of the light onto her knees. Looking up, she saw Pookie was in a tree licking its lips, watching the events unfold just hanging out. What a creature.
Sora noticed someone or thing had defeated the wolf, no really sure how or what had happened. Her head hurt as she held onto it and walked around, stumbling a little with each step she took until she found the creek and washed her face in it. What just happened?
