So far so good I think Pookie!?

Bursting through the door with an ice-bolt spell at the ready and her sword drawn, Sora barged in guns blazing, yelling, “Ice-bolt, Ice-bolt.” Eyes closed, blindly aiming, Sora stretched her hand outward she let out two shots. When she began opening her eyes, a small and large ice bolt was sticking out of the wall. As it slowly melted into water.

Pookie’s raised its head, looking at what Sora fired at. “He-he whoops, no ones up here. Well then, hopefully, no one heard that.” Sora said quietly to Pookie, who was looking at her confused. Pookie was still sitting on her shoulder in its smaller bat form, much more comfortable than ever before. Sora found herself now in a hall when she looked. The hall was built out of stone and bricks with glass windows on each of the two walls allowing the light to shine through. She could tell this building was a part of a larger structure as it felt like a catwalk. Now Sora crouched and silently walked over to the window closest to her while pressing her back against the cold stone she slid down. Sliding along the wall, she reached the window not soon after and poked her head up and took a look out of it.

Her eyes went wide when she saw a giant mystical tree that stood thousands of feet in the air. Her eyes lit up when she saw the people who lived here built many structures off of it. There was a spiralling stone building wrapping around the large tree going into the branches high above. On the side of the tree, there were structures built off the branches that had more housing. Sora could see many rope bridges stretched over the many smaller trees connecting everything and the figures of people walking on them in the distance. “Where am I?” Sora muttered to herself as she remained awe-struck with what she was looking at; it was captivating.

When Sora leaned out and looked down to see how high she was up, her mouth dropped. She was at least a hundred or so feet off the ground, and she could see there were more houses on the floor with other stone keeps with various styles of hedge and gardens beside them and what appeared to be the start to the large metal gate. Sora shot back around, putting her head up against the stone wall again, and sat there thinking of a strategy to escape.

Sora knew she would have to somehow get down to the forest floor again to escape this weird city in the trees she found herself in. “Alright, I figured it out, Pookie. It’s time to continue forward.” She said while getting off the cold floor to her companion. Sora silently began walking towards the door when she heard, ‘click clack’; she could hear the sounds of footsteps; as someone was approaching the door. Unfortunately, it was too late to run as she was in front of it, frantically looking around for somewhere to hide.

The noise of the footsteps stopped at the door. Sora’s heart dropped. Twisting open the handle, Sora leapt into the air without a moment's notice and spread her legs and arms catching herself above the door. Her face went red as she held herself up and watched two more armoured guards begin walking into the hallway from the door and approach the door opposite to them, stopping at the water. She listened to them talking from above as she held her breath, unable to understand them. Her face was going red, and her arms began trembling as she could no longer maintain this position. Finally, Sora fell and came crashing down on top of the two guards in golden armour. ‘Thud, crash, bang.’

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Sora got up now on her palms, looking over as the two guards were getting up; everyone was confused and dazed. As they regained their consciousness, they made eye contact with the swords on the floor that everyone dropped with Sora at the same time, noticing everyone make a mad dash for each other’s weapons. Sora, at this moment, leapt into action, and instead of grabbing a weapon, she grabbed both the guards by the helmets and muttered under her breath, “Draining-touch.”

The magic began flowing into both her hands as magical text began running up them lighting up. She could feel the spell start pulling the life force from the two guards as the energy started flowing from her hands into her veins, giving her an abnormal feeling of strength and energy.

Looking at her veins, she noticed them changing from blue to black as magic pumped into them. Then, the two guards let out a temporal scream,” Aghh!” as they slowly became motionless, kicking at first until they dropped to the floor lifeless.

Throwing them to the side, Sora checked to see if they were still breathing. “Good, I did not kill them,” Sora said as she laid them back down; then, she started dragging their lifeless bodies towards the spiral staircase she came from and threw them down it. ‘thud, thud, thud, thud, thud,’

Sora laughed to herself, “he-he,” as she stood there closing the door listening to them rolling down the stairs until Sora could no longer hear the noise, holding her hand over her mouth smiling at Pookie she continued laughing as the light shined of her red eyes and teal hair, “Hahaha.” Then, sparkling at the moment, lavishing in the light turning back around, she walked towards the door where the guards came from and began to creep towards it entering it and proceeding forward when the coast was clear.

After walking for some time, there was a hall Sora with four doors, not including the one she came from. The room had two doors on each of the walls and in the center of the room was a chandelier made out of iron with strange crystals in the place of candles. Sora noticed all the light in this room came from these strange orange crystals; as she walked over to inspect it, she oddly knew what they were. Now in the center of the room, she was left guessing what door to go through next deciding to check if they were open.

Walking over to each of the doors, she began to try her keys when they were locked. With the keys in hand, Sora had acquired from the guards. Only one door opened, so spinning the lock open, she entered through the door.

Inside the door was a cafeteria area with several people sitting down at one of the many tables eating around the mess hall. No one noticed her at first and must have assumed she was a guard. Sora found herself looking to her right shoulder, eyes wide, then looking back at the guards, she said,

“Well, fuck eh...”
