On the outskirts of the Avalon Empire, not too far from the Imperial Capital, there was a tall and giant mountain that rose into the sky like a pillar.
The mountain seemed to be quite old and tattered as if countless battles had taken place on it. It was dry and burnt with no vegetation on its slopes.
It looked as though it had been scorched by flames or hit by countless bolts of lightning as a burning smell hung in the air.
Despite its towering size, this desolate mountain was out of place among the seemingly endless chain of mountain ranges in the surrounding.
Meanwhile, on the highest point of this desolate mountain, a youth could be seen standing motionless as if he was a stone statue, gazing in the far distance with his profound gaze
Despite the oppressive heat that assaulted his face, the young man seemed to be quite unperturbed and completely unfazed. It was as if the blazing heat and the burning smell in the air didn’t affect him at all.
The young man seemed no older than eighteen years old. He had an impressive stature and was devilishly handsome with flawless facial appearances, almost resembling a girl.
It could be said that his appearance was simply unrivaled throughout the world and was a natural lady killer.
His rather ordinary-looking pair of black eyes contained a unique amount of attractiveness and fascination to them and seemed as if it could steal the soul of whomever.
The youth had long dark purple hair with a length that reached his waist without being tied up in any way, allowing it to float freely in the wind as if it was dancing.
The young man had the bearing of a noble and his body was oozing out a destructive aura that would make others want to bow in awe.
With just a single glance, even the most idiotic person could tell that this young man wasn't a simple youngster.

What was even more shocking, beneath the young man’s feet was a crackling lake of lightning, and countless sparks writhed over his body, making it seem as if his old tattered clothing were a cloak of lightning.
“Fifteen years! Even after fifteen years, I still can't believe that I reincarnated in another world. If this is a dream, I hope I never wake up from it.” Mumbled the young man as he was looking at the vast mountain range in the distance with a determined expression on his face.
This young man was originally an orphan from Earth. On a rainy, while he was trying to get something to eat from the dumpster of a fast-food restaurant, he was struck by multiple bolts of lightning and died.
Death should have been the end of him. However, it was just another beginning as he was reincarnated into a magical world known as Eidrin as the 4th Prince of the Avalon Empire.
At first, he was shocked by this sudden turn of events and couldn't believe that it was real. However, as time goes, he began to accept this new reality as well as his new identity.
At the same time, he always had this gut feeling that his reincarnation into this new world wasn’t quite as simple as it seemed.
As the young man was still engulfed in his own world, a sweet fragrance whiffed in the air as a figure of a young woman in an imperial knight outfit suddenly appeared behind him like a ghost.
“I pay my respect to the fourth prince his imperial highness.” At the same time, a charming feminine voice filled with reverence and respect suddenly rang out behind him.
“Is it time?” He asked without turning back. His voice was soft but very magnetic.
“Yes, tomorrow is the day of the students’ assessment for graduation. His Majesty the Emperor has instructed me to take you back to the Imperial Capital to take the assessment before it’s too late,” Answered the imperial knight in a respectful tone.
“I see, time sure flies.” The young man whispered under his breath.
“Alright, I will meet you down the mountain. I am going to clean myself in the nearby lake before we leave.” He added as he walked down the east side of the desolate mountain without casting a glance at the imperial knight.
After the 4th imperial prince left the desolate mountain peak, the imperial knight couldn’t help but have a surprised expression on her face as she was looking around the surroundings.
This colossal mountain peak, which was once green with grass and vegetation, was now dark with ash and charcoal.
It used to be so full of life, and the mana was rich in the air, but now it stood like a barren wasteland, devoid of both.
All of this happened after the Fourth Prince used it as his training ground for the past two years. During these two years, he didn’t step one foot out of the mountain range and also refused the help of the imperial family.
Despite his noble status, he was living like a savage. When he’s hungry, he would hunt magical beasts to feed himself. When it’s time to sleep, he would also sleep in the dangerous mountain range along with the dangerous magical beasts.
“No wonder they call him the Imperial Freak. He’s truly an odd prince. Not only that, In just two years, he has turned this mountain into a wasteland with his lightning magic. Maybe he’s already broken through to a 5th class mage,” Mumbled the imperial knight.
However, as soon as the last sentence came out of her mouth, she was stunned by the mere thought of her implication.
If the Fourth Prince truly broke through the 5th class mage by the age of fifteen, It would have exceeded the confinements of reality. He was simply too young.
Everyone knew how difficult it is to break through to the 4thclass mage, let alone the 5th class.
“It’s impossible, I can’t believe those words just came out of my mouth,” Mumbled the imperial knight as she stomped out this crazy thought in her mind.
