The bloody battle is ongoing , while the civilians in the walled city are rushing to retreat to the island in the southern direction. Most have already left but there are still a few hundred people waiting for the carriage that will bring them to the shore in the other side of the island. They all anxious and worried that the hunters might not be able to buy enough time for them to be able to leave safely.

On an unpopulated part of the city stand a two story house , there a man can be seen standing atop the roof with a confused face." What is going on" he said as try to look far to see what is happening as he see the people run and converge to shout gate of the city. But the Lion seeing it ,charge out to intercept , raising his axe above his head he activate his true qi , golden waves of true qi covered his body and then an ethereal huge axe manifest above him.

With a swing he brought down the axe to the turtle. The turtle, seeing the attack , swing back and meet the axe with it's tail.

Shock waves blows up from the collision, two kind of energy smash to each other right after , one with a golden brilliance and the other one dark and red oozing with corruption. Lion didn't force a battle of attrition with the turtle ,knowing that more monsters are going to be attracted to the spell will going to stop it so with a slide he redirected the counter attack to air and with an opening, swing to the legs of the turtle gashing a huge wound on it's joint.

The attack was strong but the body of an Carnage Turtle is well known for it ridiculous defense , that is why he immediately swung ba follow up attack knowing that his previous attack will injure the turtle severely . The turtle attack , manipulating the dark red energy on it's body making it form a big blob of energy , with a swing from it head it flung it down to the Lion preventing the secondary attack to land.

Bang!

The Lion dodge the attack with a leap and then reve up another attack while observing his surroundings making sure that there is no monsters getting near the Owl . After seeing that the monsters are still a bit far he focus his qi on his weapon with an intention of finishing the opponents on the next attack. The turtle form spears out of the energy and send it to the Lion in the which the other can only dodge. The corrupting power of the abyss is too strong and a mere touch from it will corrode his weapon let alone his body , so he I carefully dodge the attacks while trying to find an opening.

The battle will be drawn to long that's why the Lion charge forward instead dodging the spear energy left and right, but the numbers of the attack is outrageous forcing him to use his weapon to deflect the attack, some of the attack even graze him.

With a few rush he reach close to the turtle forcing the turtle in a close combat. He swung his axe while the turtle swung its head brandishing it's razor sharp teeth.

Spark are release as the weapon collide with the teeth, both of them garnered gashes of wound here and there but the Lion have an advantage . After a few minutes of nonstop exchange of blows he found an opening on the turtle , he swung his axe on its neck with an intent of the suanni embedding the blade on it thick skin, but it did not get any further so with a spin he swing a second time ,then a third time
