Two blurs zipped through the forest, blasting past many weak monsters at such speeds they could barely register the blurs. The blurs shot off in different directions, sending a small air burst from them moving in opposite directions. The smaller blur bounced from tree to tree before its speed slowly decreased until the blur could be seen to be Zalroth.
Zalroth landed on a tree branch, which wobbled slightly under his weight and his momentum, as he spotted a door-sized version of a dungeon arch. He hopped down from the tree and landed before the dungeon arch. He took a better look at the arch, seeing it was made of iron insect shells and blue marble covered in opaque blue gems.
"The map labelled this one as an Iron Swarmer Dungeon of Devastation, with a rare rarity attached to it," Zalroth stated as he mused over how to activate it. He decided to take a closer look at the gems, noticing their similarity to rare monster cores and took his own one out of his Inventory before comparing it against the gems. Zalroth drifted the rare monster core between the many gems, comparing them against the core, before stopping it in front of the circular groove.
"So, that's how it works," Zalroth uttered as he felt the rare monster core gently rocking in his hand. He released his grip and the core bounced out his hand while being drawn to the socket like iron to a magnet. The rare monster core nestled into the empty socket, locking in place as it began to shine.
A faint rumble emanated from the dungeon arch as a viscous blue liquid began to seep from its cracks before swirling into the space under the arch. The liquid mixed in on itself, giving it an otherworldly appearance, before it simmered and dissolved to reveal a ruined stone brick hallway. Gazing into the hallway, Zalroth briefly walked around the arch to check something and was surprised to see the other side of the arch showed the spot where he was previously standing. He walked through the arch and nothing seemed to happen; he glanced back to see the stone hallway once again.
"...". Zalroth turned around, summoning his Silver Combat Knife(Rare) from his Inventory, and walked right into the dungeon. After stepping in, he glanced back and sighed as he saw the gate was gone.
"Seems there's no backing out," Zalroth muttered before walking down the hall, avoiding the dangling spiked vines and insect nests.
After many minutes of constant walking, Zalroth arrived at a three-way divide in his path. He sighed as he looked at the first hallway with an engraving of his crest ability etched into the wall next to it. He strolled over to the middle hallway before striking the wall with his Frostbite armourmet-covered silver combat knife and etching his crest engraving into the wall. He stepped away from the wall and reapplied Frostbite Armament to his knife before heading down the third hallway.
"How odd, I haven't seen a single monster... either this is a trap-based dungeon or...," Zalroth thought aloud. He shook his head, deeming it impossible for someone else to be here since the dungeon arch was closed when Saria said she found it. Whilst deep in thought, a faint buzz up ahead caught Zalroth's attention and he stopped as a concerned thought occurred to him.
"Given the name and lack of any monsters so far, this dungeon probably was made for you two right?" Zalroth asked, causing two nervous eeps to echo from behind before Yai and Nakamai meekly shuffled up to him.
(Nakamai Sakamoto is a teenaged human girl with the appearance and height of a nine-year-old; she has super long sparkly golden hair with a glowing silver star pattern all over her hair and tied behind her head using a black cloth, golden silver eyes with slit-shaped pupil and six spikes on her pupils, and pale white skin)
(Nakamai is wearing an almost completely opaque white slime hooded onesie)

Zalroth raised an eyebrow as he saw Nakamai's faint silhouette inside the onesie before aggressively exhaling and turning away.
"Where is your school uniform?" Zalroth asked with a disgruntled tone while crossing his arms.
"They served no purpose so I got rid of them," Nakamai stated boldly with a monotone demeanour. Zalroth sighed, disappointment and disapproval oozing from him, as he grabbed the hood of her onesie and lifted her off the floor.
"It just sounds like you're looking for an excuse to be an exhibitionist," Zalroth stated unamusedly as he shook Nakamai in his hand. Nakamai pouted, placing her hands on her hips, and shook her head, although since Zalroth was holding her it made her body rotate instead of her head.
"I'm not no exhibitionist!" Nakamai stated mutely. Zalroth silently stared at her before lightly exhaling as he placed her back on the floor.
"Seeing as you two are here anyway, I want to test something," Zalroth stated before two pop-ups appeared in front of the duo displaying the text Item Transfered and a long list of common stone knives.
"Oh, are you trying that RPG method where the weaker character attacks first then you'd swap out with the stronger one before you defeat the monster so both characters get EXP?" Yai asked to which Nakamai mentioned even if that method works it won't work for her. Yai scratched her head while Zalroth itched his forehead in frustration.

"Oh...," Yai uttered as she read Nakamai's Abilities. The panels eventually disappeared, snapping the two girls' focus off of it before noticing Zalroth was already heading in the direction of the growing chorus of buzzing. The duo scampered after Zalroth while shouting at him to wait for them.
The duo continued to whine as they struggled to catch up to Zalroth. He abruptly stopped at the end of the hallway causing the duo to bump into him and collapse on each other with a squishy thud. Yai pushed herself to her feet, mindlessly pressing an unfazed Nakamai into the floor, and puffed up her cheeks.
"Wasn't that a bit of an abrupt sto-," Yai complained before being cut off by Zalroth placing a finger over her mouth. Zalroth shushed her before peeking his head through into the adjoining room and inspecting the room.
"What do you see?" Nakamai asked emotionlessly, her words slightly slurred from Yai still squishing her face. Zalroth cautiously hummed, drawing the attention of the duo and filling them with concern as they noticed Zalroth's break in confidence.
"Is it bad?" the duo asked with shaky voices.
"Depends, is entomophobia a problem for either of you?". The duo glanced at each other, confusion stricken all over their faces.
"Are ya really asking the ozzy bumpkins if they're afraid of something small like bugs?" Yai asked amusedly while putting on an Australian accent. Zalroth swung his head to the ceiling, clasping his forehead in frustration as he let out a defeated groan.
"I wouldn't use the term small in this situation," Zalroth stated as he lowered his head, coated his silver combat knife and direwolf pelt cloak in Frostbite Armament, and marched into the room where the storm of buzzing originated from.
"Wah-what's that supposed to mean?" Yai murmured as she picked up Nakamai, like a weightless plushy, and rushed after Zalroth before immediately tripping over a vine. Yai faceplanted straight into the ground, making her let go of Nakamai. Yai clung to her forehead, her face riddled with pain, and slowly lifted her head.
As she refocused her vision, Yai became distressed, distilling within her rising dread, as she watched the white slime ball barrelling for Zalroth. Yai mentally shrieked, dreading Zalroth's fury more than the monsters, and leapt to her feet; she bolted after the barrelling Nakamai, although her runs were brief as she repeatedly tripped over vines and debris.
