Chapter 3 - Living La Vida Loca with Friends
In Aloha. Jack is a pokemon. A Proteus.
Current available information in the Pokedex
Caecilian (Female/Pure Variant) (Bug-Dragon Type): A large draconic salamander that looks like a snake. It has tendrils that acts as its legs that allow it to burrow into the ground. The Caescilian will act as the mother as it typically choses its mate, makes the nest, and is the dominant figure. It typically will find the strongest mate and will make a special bond that allows it to wake up the Proteus.
Proteus (Male/Cursed Variant) (Ghost-Steel Type): -A strange metal-like cocoon that typically acts as the father in a relationship with a Caecilian. It typically sleeps for large amounts of time ranging from 12 hours to the more typical 18 to 23 hours per day. The Caecilian will typically lead around the Proteus when it is a cocoon and will protect it. If the Proteus’s mate or offspring are in danger, it will awake causing it to release its stored power to go into a powerful state that reaches the pinnacle of strength for its species. It temporarily evolves into a misty tendril-like creature that can shed its skin to become a sleek-like salamander that has no discernable form.
My sleepy ass body never feels rested. Even though at various times, I have slept for almost 22 hours. Even compared to some humans who don’t sleep. At least they have the opportunity to feel rested in one special point in time in their sorrowful lives.

Looking around, I notice that I’m in a Pokeball. Finally, my trainer has decided to fly to Hoenn to talk to Professor Birch about stuff. Finally, I can be free from Aloha’s influence. While I certainly would enjoy the tropics as a human. As a steel spikey cocoon in the hot sun that moves by rolling around like a Pokemon that only knows the move roll out in the sand. I hate the tropics and I hate sand more than anything. Its course, its rough, and it gets everywhere.
And that not even talking about Professor Burnet. That crazy deranged manic. That batty woman. She analyzed me from head to toe before bringing me to Professor Kukui who had to tell her that she was doing way too much and needed to take a chill pill. I found that I prefer Professor Kukui. He really gets me. He is also the only person who I can take refuge away from Burnet.
Thank goodness Hyde didn’t inherit the same craziness genes as his aunt. However, on certain days, I could definitely see the resemblance.
The flight was almost over by the time I woke up. A little turbulence occurred but other than that, nothing of note occurred. Exiting the airport and triggering every metal detector alarm seems to provide the long-time issues of airport baggage security. Fun.
