Announcement and Poll

Sorry to any readers I might have, but there will be no chapter tonight. I was trying to write this chapter, and I've spent a couple hours today trying to figure out how to get out of the hole I've accidentally written myself into. I think I have a way to do it, but it's too late for me to finish a chapter now, so it will have to wait until tomorrow.

When I started this story, I went in with the resolution of "No planning. Everything is improvised" which would have been fine, but then I went and shot myself in the foot trying to make this a serious story. Now I'm finding it difficult to come up with ways to carry on the story without contradicting what I've already written, or taking the story in a weird direction that I don't want it going. Right now, you guys are getting my completely unedited rough drafts, essentially, because between school, work, my other hobbies, and brainstorming to try and make each new chapter mostly make sense, I don't have time to edit while also keeping a daily release schedule.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Don't worry, this isn't a cancellation announcement. I am going to keep this story up at the very least until the end of the Writathon, and I would like to keep up after that, but I can't keep doing it the way I've been doing it. I've been trying to ignore all the flaws in the story and the worldbuilding and whatnot, but it's really hard, and I can't keep it up indefinitely. I've come up with 3 potential plans for what happens after the Writathon is over

1. I carry on the story with no edits, but I slow down the release schedule and spend more time planning and editing each chapter.

2. I take a hiatus when the Writathon is over to go back and edit and re-release all the original chapters, and then later continue with more planning and editing.

3. I drop this story and start a new, much less serious series whose imperfections won't bother me as much, and I will maintain a very regular release schedule.

I know I don't have as many readers as I would like for this poll, but for the few of you that do see this, it would be great if you voted, and maybe gave your thoughts in a comment as well. Sorry again, and thank you for reading.
