Clusters of light particles erupted out from the Poké Balls, spinning through the air before they landed on the counter and bursted apart to reveal the Pokémon within.
A Wisppurr: A small purple-furred fox with dark purple fur tips; it has a light pale purple muzzle with light purple tips, it has long ears with the shape of the top half of a heart, black cat eyes with lime green scleras, a black crescent moon insignia on their forehead, and has their tail wrapped around their body giving them the appearance of a pinecone.
A Chivaldawn: A grey snake-like Pokémon with a pale golden metalic blade-like tail, black square-shaped scales on their back, an eye for a head with pale golden metalic plating in the shape of a helmet over their eye head.
And, a Lilygraph: A baseball-sized, light green tadpole with nine dark green tendrils instead of a tail; they have a large lilypad with a small flower bud on their head.
The trainers and Pokémon gave each other contemplative looks, assessing and examining their soon-to-be companions.
"We're still in agreement on which starter we're choosing, correct?" Olyzian asked.
"Not unless you've changed your mind," Lux replied, as he picked up Lilygraph's Poké ball.
"O-of co-urse not.". Olyzian's nose twitched and collected Chivaldawn's Poké ball before she booked it, with Chivaldawn flying after her. Hoivea and Lux watched Olyzian sprint out of the room, right before she broke out into a sneezing fit.
"What was that about?" Lux uttered as Lilygraph crawled up his arm and nestled themselves on Lux's head.
"Eevea~,". Hoivea picked up Wisppurr and their Poké ball as she listened to K.Eevee speak.
"Eevee- sid prob-fley in.". Lux gave Hoivea a perplexed glance as Hoivea continued to speak against Wisspurr's muffling fur.
"Pardon?". Hoivea turned her head, allowing Lux to see the sleeping Wisppur had attached themselves to Hoivea's face. Lux asked Hoivea if she was ok as he watched her shrink Wisppurr's Poké Ball and place it in her pocket. Hoivea grabbed a hold of Wisppurr and sporadically pulled her arms back and forth in an attempt to separate Wisppur from her face. Hoivea slowly etched Wisppurr around her head, causing her hair to stick up as Wisppurr rolled over it. Hoivea eventually relented on trying to remove Wisppurr from her head and left them attached to the back of her head.
"Father wasn't kidding when he said Wisppurs stick to people like glue; anyway, Lux, I said Eevee mentioned she coated some of the relics in here with a pollen-based spray," Hoivea said.
"Oh... thought it was odd the room smelled like Gerber Daisies.".
"What are you two standing around for? We still need to catch up with Prof. Luno," Olyzian exclaimed, shouting from across the street while covering her nose. Lux sighed and placed Lilygraph's Poké ball in his pocket as Rotom wrapped itself around Lux's wrist and transformed into a Rotom Watch before Hoivea and Lux exited Eevee Antiques.
"Took you two long enough," Olyzian said, rubbing her nose as the trio regrouped.
"Sorry about that, Wisppurr blind-sighted me for a second.". Olyzian was about to speak but noticed Lux was walking off by himself.
"Rude," Hoivea said under her breath before she and Olyzian hurried after Lux.
The trio walked along the wooden bridge trail cutting through the dark and dreary swamp, the dark purple flora seeming to radiate/ooze out a sickening vibe. Lux peered his head off the edge of the bridge and peered into the lake below the bridge. He squinted his eyes in an attempt to see the base of the swampy lake but was barely able to see any further than a few inches into the water's surface.

"I won't do that if I were you," Hoivea said as she partly looked behind herself to check on Lux.
"Why's that, is it poisonous?" Lux asked.
"Well, it is at the moment, based on the colour, but let's just say my mom told me my dad wasn't always a living snowman.". Lux, Olyzian, and the conscious Pokémon all eyed the murky water below before shuffling to the very centre of the bridge. The trainers continued to trek across the bridge before halting their advance the instant a loud distorted explosion erupted up ahead.
"How are we losing to four Pokémon, we had thirty!" a disgruntled male voice shouted.
"Well, maybe if someone didn't insist on fighting one at a time maybe we wouldn't be having this problem!" an enraged female voice proclaimed.
"But, it's the LAW!".
"And we're part of an evil organisation!". The two voices continued to berate each other whilst other more fed-up voices groaned in disbelief. The trainers glanced at each other, and gave each other quick nods before they sprinted towards the sound, making sure not to lose their balance; they arrived on solid land, and instantly booked it for the nearby battle.
Meanwhile, up ahead, Prof. Luno stood in a small clearing next to the swampy lake whilst being protected by his Pokémon from the surrounding enemy Pokémon. The group of people wearing similar uniforms.
(the males are wearing long black scarfs, red blindfolds, short-sleeved white hoodies which have a large silver diamond with a red sword behind it and a large crimson eye insignia on their backs, grey long-sleeved shirts, grey trousers, and black hiking boots)
(the females are wearing long white scarfs, red blindfolds, sleeveless black hoodies which have a large silver diamond with a red sword behind it and a large crimson eye insignia on their backs, grey long-sleeved shirts, grey trousers, and grey hiking boots).
"Snorlax, use Giga Impact!".
Snorlax howled as they gathered a storm of green energy around their body, and slammed their foot into the ground, kicking up dirt as they launched themselves at Kalserian Gallade (They look similar to a normal gallade but with the green part of their body being a pale golden colour and the usual cyan spike on their forehead is more of a spikey dark blue mohawk; however, instead of a spike in the chest they have a small ocean blue crystal ball imbedded in their chest with two dark blue ribbons coming out of it which are draped over K.gallade's shoulder like a scarf. They have larger crystal balls, like the one on their chest, under their feet which allows them to float. They also have striped ocean-blue crystal streaks on the sides of their arms).
"Counter Guard," Prof. Luno said. K.Gallade nodded while keeping his focus on the approaching Snorlax. K.Gallade flexed an arm and the streaks on the sides of his arm shot out, making the arm appear similar to a shield. K.Gallade swung his shield arm in front of himself right before Snorlax slammed into it using their Giga Impact.
The Snorlax's Giga Impact abruptly seized as K.Gallade cancelled all of the Snorlax's momentum; K.Gallade knocked Snorlax backwards before pulling his fist back and delivering a Giga Impact-infused punch straight to the Snorlax's abdomen. The air rippled, as the Snorlax blasted across the clearing, only being stopped by one of the grunts recalling Snorlax to their Poké Balls.
"You'd might think they'd try using something other than physical moves, wouldn't you, Caster?" Prof. Luno asked, with Mystical Castfrom jollily bobbing up and down in the air as they seemingly agreed with Prof.Luno.
"Iron Scale," Prof. Luno off-handedly remarked, as a Gengar attempted to strike him with an Ice Punch; however, Luna (Shiny Mawile) jumped in front of Gengar before shifting her body's composition to being made of steel along with spikes forming all over her body. The Gengar flinched mid-punch before jumping back.
"Beholding Beam.". The Gengar heard a reverbed twinkle noise behind them; Gengar spun around to see a magenta energy beam blast them at point-blank range and instantly knocked them out as it launched them into a group of grunts. Nova(Shiny Novareign) scoffed as his tendril eye's covers coiled back around their eye.
"For the... I thought Pokémon professors were supposed to be weak," Grunt A complained before their train of thought was interrupted by the sound of some bushes rustling nearby. A couple of the grunts looked at the sound of the rustling and spotted Hoivea, Lux, Olyzian, and their Pokémon arriving at the battleground.
"Great now there're Pokémon Trainers... you two deal with them!" Grunt A shouted as she pointed at two other grunts.
"Huh?! But our Pokémon have already been taken out.".
"Then just use your HM mules!". The two grunts flinched at Grunt A's outburst and they panically nodded their head before hurrying over to attempt to stop Hoivea and the others.
