Then when it was finally time for the match between Sophie and Thomas something happened.
“NOW FOR TH-“
A loud explosion interrupted the announcement guy.
“Hey what are you doing in here- wait stop!”
Over the intercom you could hear the sound of fire, most likely an attack of a Pokémon, followed by screaming and suffering.
“Ba-da-boom, ba-da-bash, we arrived in a flash. We meaning me who toasted your announcer. Then there is the sniper dude.” When he said that, the sounds of bullets piercing through people’s heads at the speed of sound were to be heard. No screams of pain were to be heard since it happened almost instant. If it weren’t for the special places the contestants got, we would have died then already most likely. From what I could see the bullets were seed, probably from Grass Pokémon. “Followed by this Rock and Roll maniac.”
A giant boulder crushed half of the stadium, killing everyone over there who survived the sniper attack and blocking the exit. I got myself together at that instant and started running towards the stage, where Sophie was supposed to be. The others were going to try to make another exit.
Stolen story; please report.
“Does something smell in here? Oh yeah it does since it’s the deadly poison from our gas man.”
A brownish cloud engulved the paths on my way to Sophie. I made Toby use Safeguard to protect me from the poison.
“Oh and for those of you still alive. Don’t bother. We know where you are.”
Toby lost consciousness and my mind went blurry most likely psychic attacks. Quickly recalling my Pokémon, I continued to crawl on. I was almost there. “Look at that a survivor.”
The harsh voice from the intercom, it was that man who found me. He picked me up by one hand.
“Well you’ll experience the grand finale. Let’s end with a ba-“
He threw me on the stage.
“Da-“
I was starting to pass out, my eyes closed.
“Boom.”
His voice followed by a deafening bang were the last things I remembered before waking up in an unknown place. My Pokéballs were gone along with my Pokémon. My body felt strange, as if the heat from destruction had carved it’s mark in my skin.
“You woke up.”
