“I got it!” The others looked at me and where wondering what I meant.
“Slowpoke, I’ll name you Buu!”
“Oooooookaaaaaaaayyyy.” Since Buu’s face is so dopey, I couldn’t tell it’s emotions.
“Nice name, just in time before we reach Mundane Town too.” Jhonno pointed towards some nearby buildings. Oniccnim ran ahead of us but stopped at the top of the hill, as if he was in shock. We soon reached the peak too and understood why it was in awe. Mundane town was filled with gloom, you could feel the depression hitting us from quite some distance away.
“This is horrible...” said Oniccnim, but we were all thinking the same thing.
As we advanced towards the town, flowers stopped blooming, the wind stopped blowing and the sun stopped shining. Instead of a welcome sign, there was a leave sign.
The walked through the streets. Despite the roads being empty, I could feel eyes glaring upon us, judging us, dreading us.
“Shiny!” Oniccnim ran towards the only lit up place. In contrary to the rest of this wasteland full of dispair, this place seemed to have some happiness. A welcome sign and an open 24/7 sign. Most likely a shop.
We walked in and a little bell rung as we opened the door.
“Yo yo yo duuuude.” A guy with some sunglasses on and an afro that bounced as he moved around. One hundred percent the coolest guy I have ever seen.
“Welcome to Freek’s Fantastic Fun Factory, where we have all the goods for a decent price.” His hair was still bobbing up and down even though he was standing still.

“Umm we just want some information about what happened to this town.”
“Mandane Town,” he started, “was once not so deserted and was full of energy.” He grabbed a tape and showed us a video. I recognise what was on it, it was the Pokémon League, after the major incident.
The same voice I heard over the intercom at the time was speaking now.
“Keep dreaming and one day you can be the very best.” On the video slides were being shown of the gruesome killings.
“That’s this region’s motto. What utter Tauroscrap. A small team of 5 people and their Pokémon were able to get rid of this region’s future leader, the new Champion that would have come forth during this tournament. People wake up, winning a Pokémon battle isn’t the way to rule. 16 years olds were gonna rule this land. That’s why we have taken drastic measures as you see.” The tape changed to actual video instead of pictures. The man in the pictures was just hanging dead people onto hooks. “You see we are the leaders now and anyone who wants to confront us can either be burned.” One of the corpses was incinerated as he said it. “Shot or crushed.” Two other bodies were demolished, one was filled with bullets and the other one was crushed into a pile of meat and blood. “Could die of poison or their minds could explode.” The fourth one’s skin melted and his bones eroded, whilst the fifth one’s innards exploded and some blood landed on the camera. “So if you want to live I recommend staying at home. Think about all your failures citizens, from today on, anarchy rules this land.” The video ended.
“Then this video was shown accross the country and after a month of chaos, people stopped going outside, since all the stores were robbed anyway and people might get beat up or murdered going outside. If someone does gather enough courage to go outside, they most likely get confronted by any of the many gangs that showed up after the declaration of anarchy.” He pulled a map out of somewhere and he pointed to a dot on the map. “We are here right now. If you want to change anything about what’s going on, you’ll have to go to the gyms in the region and take down the gang leaders in each of them. Then maybe you can take on the people in the league without being killed instantly. The first one is the tall building here in town. Now go away if you don’t buy anything.”
“Okay, we’ll go.”
We went outside and immediately we were surrounded by gang members. “Boys, come with us.”
