Avnish was in a state of distress in the XYZ Auditorium. Realizing that without the Soul Box he would only be able to remain in this world for nearly one day, he felt trapped. Returning to report to the Lord was out of the question as it would make him appear incompetent. The arrival of the police added to his anxiety, suspecting their involvement.
Feeling powerless, he knew he had to take action and track the White Soul users, even though he was currently stuck in the auditorium. Time was ticking, and he feared that by the time he could leave, the White Soul users would have already departed. This frustrating situation pushed him to plan his next move carefully, knowing that the practitioners were weakened after using a basic magic skill. The pressure and urgency of the situation weighed heavily on him.
He entered a female’s body and proceeded towards the main door and laid down. Soon after, a special unit forcefully opened the door, he raised his hand in a state of desperation, seeking help from them.
“Madam, hold on for a bit longer.” A policeman shouted. “Please hurry and escort her to the medical camp.”
Avnish experienced a moment of weakness and gradually lost consciousness, eventually collapsing to the ground. He was assisted by some individuals who guided me to seek medical attention. While in their presence, Avnish overheard various conversations taking place. Consequently, He made the decision to remain in that state for a brief period before transferring to a different body and departing to track them.
“Please clear out the way” as nurse instructed, everyone dispersed. Upon closing the tent door, she gently reached out and made contact with the woman’s hand. “Her pulse is very weak, and the Doctor is taking too long to arrive. She is on the verge of death,” feeling furious at the Doctor for the delay.
Shortly thereafter, her expression transitioned from one of anger to that of terror as a ghost-like figure emerged from the woman’s body. Despite the nurse’s attempts to flee, the black ghost-like figure infiltrated her body, halting her movements.
“Finally, I am able to depart from this unfortunate location. Although, it’s a nurse’s body, it will work for now.” Upon exiting the tent, Avnish commenced his departure; however, a voice emanated from behind him, prompting him to halt in his tracks.
“Sir, I received a call from the upper management of the hospital requesting that I leave immediately. I kindly ask for your approval to take this time off.” The doctor observed her for a moment before giving a confirming nod, after which she departed.
Upon entering the ambulance, the nurse directed the driver to proceed to a specific location. “This is an urgent request from upper management, so please refrain from asking further questions.”
Closing her eyes, she began to perceive the faint presence of black beads and proceeded to point her index finger in order to guide the driver.
Eventually, they reached a divider that separated the hospital on one side and a well-known hotel on the other. The driver halted the ambulance and inquired of the nurse, “For what reason are you indicating the incorrect direction? The hospital is located in this direction.”
“Please proceed in the direction to which I am pointing without posing unnecessary inquiries.” She replied in a firm tone leaving no room for further discussion.
They proceeded along the road for a considerable distance before executing a U-turn and changing their direction towards the hospital.
Emerging from the ambulance, she caught sight of a prominent hospital ahead of her. With closed eyes, she could sense the significant presence of her ominous Black bead energy in this place. Without hesitation, she quickly exited the ambulance, whispering determinedly, “They must be here. Just you wait, I will burn your soul in black fire once I apprehend you.”
The driver observed the woman’s departure and pondered the peculiarity of her behavior. “If she desired to postpone her arrival, she could have simply requested it instead of offering excuses. Trying to put pressure on me by showing off about the bosses, hump!”
Amidst the unknown commotion of driver complaints, Avnish Seth hurriedly navigated through the entire hospital premises with an urgency akin to a person in distress over a lost possession.
Realizing after an hour that they were not in the hospital, he cursed with his delicate mouth, worriedly exclaiming, “They tricked me! Where in the world are you bastards?”
…
At Dhruv’s residence.
Upon returning to my residence, both of us encountered Alia seated on the couch, engrossed in her mobile phone.
Alia’s smile faded as she turned her head to the sound of the door, a worried expression replacing her initial smile. She asked with a sense of curiosity.
“Who is she?”
Unaware that anyone would be home, Dhruv entered his house quietly, trying not to raise any suspicions about why he was bringing a girl home. Little did he remember that he had given a spare key to Alia the night before.
“Is she your girlfriend, Dhruv?” — White Snake’s question left him worried as it felt like she was yanking out the main support of a house before even getting the chance to inquire about Alia’s presence.
Dhruv instantly thought of many scenarios in his mind with help of wisdom skill and replied. “Before we continue this conversation and risk any misunderstandings, Alia, could you please call Uncle Ricky so I can explain everything to everyone at once? And White Snake, would you mind refraining from speaking nonsense?” Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Alia seeing him in an awkward position didn’t argue. She initiated the phone call, “Father, could you please come to Dhruv’s residence. It’s kind of an emergency due to the presence of a large White Snake resembling a human in size.”
White Snake was giving Alia a mean look.
Alia shot back, “Why don’t you tell me your name, White Snake? Or is that your actual name?”
Amidst all this Dhruv thought, ‘I can’t help but feel worried. In normal days, I might have found amusement in girls fighting over me, but the current situation is far from ordinary. Adding to my concerns, we recently obtained the Soul Box from the Soul Avatar, raising fears about potential tracking. I must conduct a detailed analysis with White Snake. However, the most distressing thought is the looming reality of my life ending in about 50 days. How can I possibly find happiness in the midst of all these worries and uncertainties?’
Ding! Dong!
Upon Uncle Ricky’s arrival, he was warmly welcomed by me and we proceeded towards the dining hall where a delightful lunch prepared by Alia awaited us. Uncle Ricky took his place on the head seat, flanked by two young ladies on either side, with myself positioned directly across from him like I’m being judged for doing something terrible.
As I crafted a traditional amnesia tale for White Snake and shared it with them, Uncle Ricky received it with a neutral expression. In contrast, Alia experienced a sense of remorse for jesting about the unfortunate girl who shares her age. White Snake, in turn, appeared astounded by the narrative but maintained a sorrowful expression outwardly.
Uncle Ricky gazed at the pitiful White Snake with a softened expression before replying to Dhruv.
“First and foremost, it is advisable for both of you to approach the authorities and officially report her situation, as her family may be actively searching for her.” Secondly, he looked towards White Snake and spoke gently. “We should address her by an appropriate name, considering the uncertainty of how long she will be staying here. Now, please, child, share with me, what are your preferences?”
“Stars are truly fascinating and bring me a lot of joy.” White Snake responded.
Alia was totally confused by this and was like, ‘Wait, do you seriously not know anything or are you just trying to suck up to Dhruv?’
Uncle Ricky chuckled happily and suggested, “Great! Let’s name you ‘Tara’ now, so you and Dhruv have a shared name origin.”
“I was not aware of that.” White Snake gazed at Dhruv and politely inquired, “If you don’t like it, we can change to another one, but I am quite fond of the sound of ‘Tara’.
“I’m cool with that; we should contact the authorities later in the evening.”
“Let us now address the final issue at hand. While I have faith in your character as an individual, I am wary of the natural inclinations of a young boy. Therefore, I propose that Alia should reside in your residence until we locate Tara’s family.” Uncle Ricky suggested.
“Uncle, there is truly no necessity for Alia to handle this matter. I acknowledge that I am responsible for this situation and should confront it.” — After saying that he thought, ‘if we had opted for a male body, I could have avoided this unnecessary predicament.’
He disregarded Dhruv’s words as rambling and inquired of his daughter Alia, “What are your thoughts on this?”
She glanced at Tara and stated firmly that she needed to remain in this place, not because of Dhruv, but because she lacked trust in Tara.
Once the discussion wrapped up, Uncle Ricky bid his farewell cheerfully. Then, the two girls enjoyed a nice chat before I offered them two spare rooms to use. As soon as Alia closed her room door, I entered Tara’s room discreetly.
“Alright White Sna…”
“Call me Tara now.” She interrupted.
“Well then, could we please confirm if he has the capability to track us through the Soul Box, Tara?”
“Sure, come here and take a sit beside me, we can both enter the Soul Box together.”
Each of them directed their ‘Wills’ towards the Soul Box as they unveiled it. Dhruv was in ‘Purple Star’ Will form while Tara was in ‘White Snake’ Will form. Within it lay a realm reminiscent of a miniature world, featuring a dark sky above and a mysterious, solid ground below. In the distance, hundreds of souls could be discerned.
“So, this Soul Box being used as a Receptor,” Tara mentioned while gazing at the black beads below. Feeling astonished by the use of the Black Box like this.
“In contrast to my crystal-clear black bead, this one is a solid black colour.”
“Indeed, these are artificially enhanced variations of black beads that I believe have the capability to track individuals, organisations use these to keep tabs of each other. Although I may not be familiar with the specific technique involved, I am confident in this assertion.” She concluded.
“Since they are artificial rather than natural, can we try destroying them?”
“I was thinking the same, let me try first.”
Indicating that she applied a healing skill, however, it yielded no outcomes. “You give it a shot and see what happens.”
“Is it not the same healing skill you applied to me? I am curious why you are attempting to use it again here.”
“Black and White cannot coexist, leading to either their demise or ours. This is why my skill has been nullified, as its power currently surpasses mine.”
After hearing her explanation about White and Black beads, I proceeded to activate my ‘Absorb Soul’ skill on them.
Instantly, I observed that two Black beads vanished in my Receptor, while one disappeared from the Soul Box and was transferred to the Receptor. It then disintegrated into four pieces and began to condense into crystal-clear black beads.
…
3 km away from Dhruv’s home.
The ambulance is swiftly traveling on the four-lane road with its siren activated. The occupants inside are a man and a woman; the driver appears horrified while the nurse next to him opens her eyes and comments, “They are sealing my black beads to prevent me from tracking them, truly clever.”
“Hey, I need you to drive faster because we are running out of time.” He instructed the ambulance driver whose face was filled with fear like he had seen ghost. ‘I can sense the traces of my black beads diminishing with each passing second.’
“Yes, miss.” He accepted the command fearfully.
Vroom~
…
“Haha, I can absorb them.” Dhruv laughed happily.
“I can see that. Absorb them all at once. What are you waiting for?”
“You think I haven’t tried that, but for some reason I can’t. I think it’s related to the limitation of my skill.”
“Hmm, it is possible. Let me try using my skill on one bead too instead of doing using it on whole batch.” Although it didn’t happen instantly, the black bead got corroded by Tara’s skill and disintegrated.
“Huff~ My Will is being used so much. We are truly fortunate that you have the ‘Absorb Soul’ skill.”
“The ‘Soul Absorb’ skill is only effective against soul-related things.
“Great! I’m going. Come out when you are done.”
…
500 meters from Dhruv’s home. Few minutes later.
“Dammit, I can’t sense my black bead anymore. What’s the appropriate course of action at this time?” Avnish vented. ‘It appears that those individuals may have had the capability to seal my Black bead in the past, prompting the question of why they chose to do so now. It is plausible that they have strategically set a trap in this town to apprehend me. It seems likely that I have been lured here by them.’ He thought and grumbled. “This is definitely a suspicious situation.”
“I will not be manipulated any longer.” Having exited the nurse’s body, Avnish entered the driver instead, subduing his soul until he perished. “It’s only been 10 days, and I was the first to be defeated. What a shame.” After stating that, he flew out of the ambulance and disappeared into the air.
