I wish to run across the fields.
To follow the wind on it’s invisible flight.
Save that the clouds mark it’s path,
Ships of the air,
With sails that catch the light.
Oh to be among them.
Oh to be onboard.
Looking down,
No longer with,
The cares of the world.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
But then I see the figure on the right;
Deep-cloaked and hooded against the horizon sky.
Are they watching what catches my eye?
Mighty, Solitary Queen of the Cloud Fleets
And Sapphire Sky.
Should I join them?
Or should I not.
To speak
To listen
To Gaze
To Share
The Glorious, Solitary,
Yet mighty Wonder
That is the Lady Harvest Moon.
