"Incoming!. Rally!. Rally!"
Arc shouts loudly as he clashes his sword and shield against each other to get everyone's attention while running around in front of the cave entrance, his party has grown from 4 person crew to a small army of 30 men and women, all are B and A rank adventures who have their gears at the ready and prepared for the worst to happen to them.
Four hours ago, the guild master received a grave news, the Hiveravager had emerged from the cave and slaughtered a group of adventurers who just arrived at the remote mining town yesterday, the surprise attack also injured and killed many townspeople and caused heavy damage to the field and food storage area. Had it not for the sunrise which agitated the Hiveravager and pushed it back to the cave with its bright light, the town would have been wrecked completely by the powerful monster.
Arc, the town's chief, and the guild master weren't in the town at that time as they were on a trip to Azuria Empire, Emperor Hito had personally sent them a summoning letter expressing his care for the remote town and his wish to aid the town in exchange for information regarding the undead legend in the cave and a long term material trading business with the town.
Because of this, the trip would have to wait for another time as everyone hurried back to the devasted town to check up on everyone, they were all shocked at the scene, the town they all had been working so hard for was reduced down to rubble and smothering embers, the people were injured, some lost their hope in life and their family member. It was not the first time they got attacked by the monsters, but it was the first time they met a monster could do this much damage to the town in such a short time.
The guild master did his best to comfort the people and find a way to bring them out of harm, hunting down the monster which did this was one of those plans. Arc's party volunteered for it, they had fought the machine once before and they were willing to fight the monster again to finish it off, they also managed to encourage some other high ranking adventurers to join their fight in the process.

And now in the late evening of the day, they are standing in front of the cave, all prepared to fight the monster as soon as it leaves the cave. For glory or nothing, some may call it.
"Mages, call forth your light to guide us!. Warriors, form groups and fight in conjunction, if you are tired or wounded, move out immediately!. Archers, support us by keeping an eye on any other creatures that might join the fight and help the beast!. For anyone who survives the fight, a drink on me!"
Arc does his best to raise everyone's morale before taking stance to prepare for the monster, soon the sun behind them will set and the battle will begin, Arc can feel his heart thumping in excitement and fear at the same time as he grips on his sword tightly as he looks over to Lilica and Thekeg.
"Hey...Mind lend me some money to pay for the drinks after this?"-Arc whispers a joke as he chuckles quietly.
"No can do mate, your bill, your coins."-Thekeg shakes his head slightly as he smiles lightly before he casts body enchanting magic on himself.
"Same here, Arc. Good luck to your purse"-Lilica closes her eyes slightly as she focuses her magical power to conjure a few light orbs in front of the cave just as the last ray of sunlight disappear.
The monster's frenzied screech resounds loudly as it suddenly appears in front of one of the light orb in the cave, the monster was watching the group from the darkness, and it brought its friend too.
"A swarm..."-One of the adventure mumbles, it seems like the overwhelming scene is indeed overwhelming everyone with fear, never before had they seen monsters work together on such a large scale, there have at least 50 Evolved Hivewarriors and hundreds more Hivewarriors behind the Hiveravager. Such thing could only be heard in legends of the Demonic king.
"Fear not, my companions. Fo-"-Before Arc could finish the chant needed for his encouraging skill, the bugs attacked, all of them quickly rush toward the adventures' line of defense like a tsunami of big, frenzy bugs.
"Damn it, Lilica, call your Archon!. Warriors hold the line!"
As Arc's last order is given before two sides clashed their swords and pincers, the Hiveravager's loud screech can be heard echoing through the forest nearby, signaling the start of the deadly conflict between the bug and the Races as the guild master looks back behind him nervously.
"Gods...Have you forsaken us?"
