BK1; Chapter 26: [ Anggitay ]

Wha-!? Rain tried to jump in fright but it was already too late.

Boom!

The moment he moved, two other invisible energies wrapped themselves around both of his hands. It was then followed by a surge of energy which was pounded on his wrists, sending a sharp pain. His limbs were tightly bound by that invisible energy, was lifted into the air, and had his limbs pulled in all four directions, until he was spread-eagled.

[ You have been attacked! ]

[ ———- Lv—— ]

Rain didn’t have the slightest power to resist his enemy, nor did he know where in the room his opponent was currently hiding themselves. All he could do was smiled bitterly. It seems like his opponent’s strength wasn’t something he could match.

“Who are you?” Realizing this thought, the fear surging inside him gradually calm down as he stopped struggling.

“Oh, are you giving up?” The voice sounded playful.

“Giving up or not, it’s already no use. Because I know that no matter how much I struggled, it’s already game over for me. I’m certainly no match for you.”

“… Oho, you’re quite rational. I never expected you to be a level headed human.” Hearing Rain’s words, the owner of the voice seemed shocked as he answered with some astonishment.

“I’ll take that as a compliment. Anyway, there’s just something I want to ask…”

“Go on, treat it as my service.”

Taking a deep breath, Rain stared in front of him coldly; “Where’s sister spider? Did you kill her?”

At this moment, a pair of golden eyes shining with mysterious light appeared in front of him. The eyes give Rain a chill but he still held his poker face.

“Ho, so you still have the composure to worry about a monster, quite a praise-worthy human being.” The voice held some kind of mockery.

“For me she’s not just a monster but a friend. Anyway, I just want to warn you that if you touch her, I will surely hunt you down.”

“… …” The owner of the voice was obviously startled as she couldn’t say anything.

“You might be able to kill me now, but remember this; if you killed her, I will crawl from my grave and return to this world to hunt you down!”

“… …”

“… …”

“Pfft… Ahahahahahahaha” Laughter echoed within the cave. There’s no killing nor malicious intent but only a pure laughter.

Rain guessed that base from the sound that looks like bell’s ringing; the owner was probably a beautiful woman.

Suddenly, a figure materialized in front of him.

The figure wore a black long cloak. Even her face was concealed under the hood. This person’s aura felt as though it’d been concealed in a void — entirely undetectable.

Looking at the sudden appearance, Rain couldn’t help but be surprised. The figure was very close to him yet he still can’t perceive her presence. She was certainly standing there but he can’t sense her at all.

She was like a mirage, no an illusion.

That person slowly walked towards Rain. In every step she took, her beautiful figure gave off an astonishing charm. A strongly fragrant scent wafted over.

“It seems like my little sister and I wasn’t mistaken. You are really different from other humans…” The black cloaked figure started.

Little sister?

“Who are you? And what little sister?”

“Please don’t be afraid, I don’t mean to hurt you, I just came here to meet and talk with you.”

Heck, was this a way to tell people you want to talk with them? Rain swallowed his fear and held his retort. Under her threat, he could only give way to the pressure and do whatever the other side wanted.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

“Where is sister spider?” Rain asked. His voice already calmed down but still held some hint of chilliness on it.

“Oh, don’t worry about her. I just did something a li~ttle bit to make her sleep.”

“Something? No, anyway, as long as she’s okay then it’s fine. So what do you want?” Learning the spider’s condition, Rain finally felt relieved as his tone of voice gradually eased a bit.

Kill me? Go on, I can just return tomorrow and train again. The next time I find you, I will certainly take my revenge!

There’s a saying, ‘Ten years is not too late for a gentleman to get his revenge.’ I will surely without fail return this favor!

“What I want? Hm, what if I say I want you?”

“…….Huh?” Rain’s mind short-circuited. He could only stare dumbfounded at the hooded figure in front of him.

“What did you say?”

“I said I want you.” She repeated.

Rain immediately replied, “That’s not possible!”

The hooded figure was clearly displeased as she coldly snorted. “Do you think that you have a choice? Why don’t you look at your situation?”

This was a hanging threat. Rain tried to ease the mood, “W-Wait. What do you mean by you want me?”

“I mean what I mean, or is there another meaning in your human language?”

This …? Rain’s mind was getting messy by the sudden turn of events. Did he just have a confession?

However, one thing for sure, he wasn’t the least bit happy.

If someone gets jealous by his position, Rain without hesitation, would certainly change spots with him. Besides, how realistic was this game supposed to be? Getting confessed to by a super scary chick made from computer data’s isn’t funny at all!

But still, with this development, I could somehow see a path of survival; though it’s a little bit narrow.

“Then, let’s say that I’ll take this confession on its face value. What do you want me to do after that?”

“Hm, simple, stay with me… and do everything I wa—.”

“I decline.” Without hesitation, Rain let out his answer.

“Oh? Aren’t you the funny one, human.”

“I ain’t kidding! And it’s not acceptable for me to end up with someone I just met for the first time in my life, much less someone whose face I couldn’t see.”

“Ah, you have a point!” The black clothed person removed the hood and her long hair fell like waterfall.

“But you don’t need to worry about that. I do not look that awful.”

As he had expected, she had a devastatingly beautiful appearance; mature yet charming.

She was far more than ‘not that awful’, you could simply only call her beautiful—Rain thought.

She has a single white spiral-style horn in the middle of her forehead.

But there was something odd about her body. Although she certainly had a fiery figure which alone was enough to mesmerize countless men, until they were head over heels for her; especially her chest which displayed extreme temptation.

However, that wasn’t the problem. When she took off her cloak, her waist kept getting longer.

At first, Rain thought she was wearing very long, white velvet skirt or something maybe a dress, but as she kept rising out taller than any man, Rain immediately realized that it wasn’t a velvet dress but a front of a very familiar animal, muscle and sinew under coarse white fur.

Then a leg came out, long and knobby-kneed, with a huge polished hoof; then another front leg, and then the hindquarters.

“You…”

“Surprised?” She asked. Her beautiful face wearing a smile.

Rain nodded dumbly.

Seeing Rain’s surprised expression, the beautiful woman let out a faint smile and with a ‘Clop. Clop’ sound, she approached closer.

“Seeing my true appearance, are you disgusted?”

“Ah, no, no I’m just… quite surprised. Although I had already expected you to be a monster but still seeing your real appearance was still a shock.” Rain answered honestly.

“Is that so?”

“Un,” Because he still can’t move, Rain nodded his head while looking at the beautiful woman in front of him.

Reflecting in his eyes was neither disgust nor fear but rather… curiosity.

“I think I’ve heard about your kind before. You are not a [ Tikbalang ] but an [ Anggitay ]. Am I right?”

The beautiful woman’s body trembled.

Rain felt excitement in his heart. Could he have guessed correctly?

[ Anggitay ]

[ Anggitay ] are female creatures who are half-horse and half-woman like centaurs in legends. [ Anggitays ] can grow horns, like Unicorns, and are typically slightly smaller in stature than the centaurs.

They have a lively curiosity when it comes to all things shiny, valuable, and precious. When alive the [ Anggitay ] is easily persuaded or distracted by jewels, precious metals (especially gold), crystals, and objects of value.

However, what’s more amazing was that they are excellent seekers and would go great distances in search of legendary treasures. They are clever, energetic and adventurous!

Legends say that the [ Anggitay ] appears on the event that rain falls even with a clear sky.

Human beings are creatures filled with curiosity. Seeing something unknown in front of them, especially creatures seen only in legends, they would immediately forget what they are doing or thinking as they were immediately consumed by their desires to know it.

Rain wasn’t an exception. His fear and anxiety vanished in thin air the moment his eyes laid on the beautiful woman’s real appearance.

“Ha ha ha!” The beautiful woman issued a series of light laughter, “You’re quite knowledgeable.”

“So I guessed right?”

“Yeah…I’m an [ Anggitay ].”

“I see this is my first time seeing someone like you… what can I say, beautiful.” Rain voiced his thoughts.

“Sure enough, you’re not afraid of me.” The beautiful woman’s voice sounded a little happy,

“I have already seen those people who react differently compared to you… Humans hate us and tried to kill us because they are afraid of us and especially because we look different from you humans. I can see the fear in their eyes but in you… “

She couldn’t help herself, she had to reach out and gently stroke Rain’s cheek, “Human, I only see curiosity. “

With this intimate action, Rain couldn’t help but embarrassedly coughed twice, and then moved his head away from her hand. Hey, don’t change the atmosphere so much, just now aren’t you still threatening me. How can you so suddenly completely change your style?

“Uhun, anyway… um, your name. What’s your name?” Feeling the ambiguous atmosphere, Rain immediately tried to change the subject.

“I do not have a real name, but my sisters call me Leyla.”

“Leyla …”

“Now then, I have fulfilled your request. And so you will become mine.”

“No!” Rain was taken aback causing him to impulsively refuse.
