EPILOGUE FOUR: LAST MAN STANDING

Around 20 years ago, in the year 1991:
The last Merrow of his line looks around at his home, deep under the ocean, and sighs loudly. He turns around and ports to where he knows the rest of the Merrow were going. They were joining a small group of Dragels as they could no longer survive in the disgusting waters of Earth. Once there, he sees a trio of very beautiful female Dragels.
He cannot help what he does next, he pulls out his large armored pale blue scales with iridescent shimmering green spots and fans them towards the beautiful women. All three laugh and come over to him. The smaller of the three coyly looks at him and asks him the most important question of his life. “I guess that means that you are willing to bond with us, yes?” He eagerly nods his head in agreement. “Lovely! My name is Margaretha Adam and I am this small circle’s Submissive.” She marks him on high on his neck before introducing him to her Alpha and Pareya.
“I have been fated to meet you, my Submissive. If you will take this lonely Merrow as your bonded Gheyo, I will protect you with my life.” He says before he bows to the Submissive. “My name is Prince Reede, the last Prince of the Oceanus clan. I am a Gheyo Princess and of course a Merrow.” The other two giggle and mark him as well. The two escort him over to the Gheyo Prince and Beta.

His eyes darken with lust as he sees what will soon become his Gheyo Prince and Beta. He cannot wait to get them into his bed.

Many months later, the circle’s two children are born. The first is a daughter that they name Allouette Oceanus after Reede’s mother and the second is a boy they name Matt Alvi after the sire's father, Mataalii Alvi. Over time, the children grew up pretty safely, until the day the wizards came.
With Reede and his Submissive both being heavily pregnant, the family was slowed to a crawl for escaping; the Submissive was slain almost instantly with Reede’s pregnant stomach getting sliced open. It was only luck that Reede was able to get himself, his son, his Gheyo Prince, and his Beta away from the wizards. The trio looks at the last child of their circle before making the decision to send him away to the last known safe house.
Once he is gone, they bring out their now-blackened wings and take out their rage on the wizards. But the only one that escaped that night was a half-dead boy who instantly had his childhood ripped from him.
