My beautiful little granddaughter… ah, If you are who I believe you to be…I have one request of you, as I do not want things to become complicated yet. I only hope you can accept?” Chris spoke softly, as he held his granddaughter in front of the blood remnant allowing her to see it and all it’s glory.
“If you are, who I think you are…I hope you can give me, a short number as it may be, 18 years. It may seem short, however, it allows me time to think. I may have thought the Vow somewhat forced and hilarious, however…I just thought about it in the moment of your birth…what if it isn’t you? Or what if I am differential in my treatment just due to the fact that it is you? Because, as of the moment you were conceived… YOU BECAME MY BLOOD!!!” He emotionally sighed. He did believe it was likely Yun was this new born, but he wasn’t completely sure. His daughter may have other children in the future, which may be Yun. He wasn’t willing to risk it entirely; he had to consider many things including his possible slip in emotions.
A slip in emotion at his age and experience isn’t exactly easy to come by, but it’s plausible that it may happen with a simple action by this child.
“Until then, I will have you live with the name Lin Eeyore Yue, in respect to your father, so as of now, until 18 years of age your name is Yue.
Again respecting Lin’s culture, Yue’er is how I’ll call you. “ Proclaimed Chris confidently with a somewhat joyful tone, yet complex emotions when he said so appeared on his face for only a moment.
“By the time of your 18th birthday, it is up to you… ha ha, that is… if it’s truly you. But… Yue’er, welcome to our family.” He lovingly said the last words.
Yue’er seemed to react to Chris’s love and naturally smiled to herself as she fell to sleep in his arms. Seemingly saying to Chris “Yue’er? he he, I kind of like that name grandfather.”
After a moment, Chris walked out of the meditation area returning to the room the idiot couple was staying in to return Yue’er to his daughters’ arms, careful not to wake her.
“Until her 18th birthday, she will be named Lin Eeyore Yue. If on her 18th Birthday, there is a certain incident, she may from then on be renamed Yun. But, for now, my granddaughter will be called Yue’er. Jian, I hope you have no conflicting thoughts with my choice?” he solemnly said until the last words, which seemed like he wasn't asking for permission.
“Father in Law, I have no objection, I just wish to know…” he seemed to be hesitating about something.
“You wish to ask about the name choice? Yue is a Name from a point in life of a person named, Yun. He once told me about the name, when we were younger. As for Yun, that person was one of the strongest rivals I once had and also best friend whom I had to kill half a millennia ago. I truly didn’t wish to kill Yun, but the heavens seemed against me at the time and I had to do what was needed. Another point is…He was once a Killing Power." waiting a moment mre he continued" I hope you are content with this much.” Chris casually spoke this all, but also to make a point that they shouldn’t asked anymore, well giving them what they wished to know, he was already by the door before stopping.
“Thank you Father (in-Law)” the two gleefully exclaimed. Of course hey were happy. This Yun was obviously an important person in their Fathers life and this showed he places much importance in their “Yue’er”. Making it seem clear that her life will have many great prospects… at least that is how they interoperated it…however…
“I’ll leave Yue’er with the two of you, but, until she is 10 years of age, DO limit her to only Minor Refinement Realm training. If she does have talent… leave it as fortune gained from the meditation room, but try your best to keep her from doing anymore than Minor Training till the appointed age. Let her enjoy her normal childhood, even if it is within the confines of our land and the few cities with close relations bordering us.” carefully stated Chris. It was clear to the two parents that there were actually many more things that they did not know. What they do know however is it seemed to revolve around Yue’er and her birth … but they knew better than to ask.
Stolen novel; please report.
“The blood moon will soon cover the sky...” And Chris left with that short sentence hanging.
As he walked from the room, the couple showed weary expressions. The last sentence made them shudder. But, as it is not the time to worry yet, they just need to relax for now and carefully look after their daughter. Also, as Minor Martial arts was the limit, they decided to include teaching her to play an instrument, also about varying genre of knowledge such as history, language, lore, customs, hand skills. Singing not to mention and more all round knowledge so that she isn’t limited in her interests, various skills or knowledge, except through personal experience.
…
5 years later
“Alright Yue’er, Listen to Father, because we are going to begin with your Martial Arts Training now that you have come of an age acceptable to train. “ Said Lin Jian as he watched his daughter reading a book on [Mortal Kingdoms and Empires: A means to an end] with a somewhat…strange expression.
Lin Yue is very intelligent. Before she had her first birthday, she could walk. By the time she was a year and a half old, she could read all children’s books. By age three, she was reading works by Scholars and the highly intelligent. At age 4, she became infatuated with mortal Rulers, Kings, Queens, Emperors, Empress’ and so on.
As of now, she has read the book in her hand more than 8 times, and in the third time she read it, she broke down many of the problems that could have been responded to in a simple manner, which would have solved all the problems. She explained what would have been the fastest solution, the bloodiest, softest and the response that would have had more problems.
At 5 years of age, this girl is frightening, due to majority…if not all her plans.... at her age, actually being viable and very realisable with a very high percentage of completion, statistically speaking, without failure.
Let us not forget, the plans were created after she read the book a third time. As of now, it is the 8th. And she has already begun her dangerous plans of Mortal Kingdom world domination, but just as she was planning on how her little kingdom will evolve into a Empire, she heard her father call out to her, so she hastily, put all her plans on hold, placed the book down and covered the miniature 3d scale map of the setting in which the book was based.
“Yes Father, Please instruct Yue’er”
With a dry laugh, Lin Jian began speaking “Good, let us begin. First of all, strip down, father must base his plans on how Yue’ers body will evolve and develop in the future, what training must be done to ensure fathers plans and Yue’er efforts do not go to waste, before you are ten. When you are 10, father will be able to be more in depth with your training.”
Lin Yue agreed and done as told, stripping to her baby suit. Feeling a little embarrassed, however, she knew her father needed to see every detail… or her father’s plans could actually go badly.
As Yue’er was thinking about this, Lin Jian began concentrating on details of any development and changes, as of now he hasn’t seen any problems, but just as he was about to tell his daughter to dress again, he noticed a subtle influx of Yang Qi, but it wasn’t large enough to be a problem, only something to take into consideration. What he didn’t know however was this was only the first signs and would be exceedingly hard to notice in the future until it was to late to regret it. The time at that moment was high noon.
“Put your clothing back on. Come see father after breakfast, around noon tomorrow. By then, I should have made a plan for your Minor Martial Training.” Explained Lin Jian, as he left the room in deep thought. He planned to make his daughter unparalleled in martial arts, even before she was born, however, with the blood moon on the rise and Chris giving a warning, he knew better than to train beyond the Minor Realm or great consequences will follow.
“Yes father”
As Lin was leaving, he was having some depressing thoughts.
“She doesn’t have long enough to train sadly, even though I am not one, I could have made this brilliant daughter of mine a Killing Power within 1000 years!!! ALL BECAUSE OF THOSE FUCKING-!! ” With a heavy sigh and calming down noticing his dangerous influx of emotions causing his power to flow out.
Lin bitterly pushed those heavy thoughts in his hard to the back of his mind. Yue’er clearly had more than enough mental capacity and from this inspection of her body, he could vaguely sense a large and endless potential within her, the evolution of her body will be almost unrestrained and will easily ascend the minor realm in a less than a decade! Had she not been born so close to this coming Era, these earlier years could be better spent on her cultivation instead of the Minor Realm refinement, which are practically useless in the cultivated realms and can only prolong her life slightly.
The only thing he felt strange was the Yang Qi that in both an instant exploded and retreated just as fast as it occurred. He didn’t know what it was, but for now didn’t think it was important enough to place to much thought on it, after all, things like that do happen from time to time, even the mortal common people have these strange things happen often, and they lead to nothing bad in the end.
