Chapter 7

In a dense forest, Dary was laying on the ground; he was fast asleep. He was wearing his outfit made of rags, but this time he had nothing covering his head; instead, he had a straw hat on his head, slightly covering his face. He was sleeping for quite some time until, out of the blue, two purple eyes appeared in his shadow, and they started looking at him, then around the area.

"So you have returned... Were you successful in your task?"

Asked Dary as he sat up and took off his hat, which then disappeared in his grip.

"Yes, master! I have brought everything you have asked for! Also, I do hope I didn't wake you up... It seems I was too slow for you... I am an incompetent servant who made you wait so long that you fell asleep."

"You weren't slow; I just wanted to get some time for myself. It was great to finally relax a bit without having to do anything... Alright, let's get back to work."

"As you wish!"

From Dary's shadow, a black hand raised, holding a pile of papers and gave it to Dary, who took them and started reading them.

"Interesting!"

A few minutes passed as Dary was reading. After he finished reading them, he put them over his shadow, and a had reached out for the documents and took them.

"Master, would you like to read the next packet of documents?"

"No, not yet... Tell me, how were you greeted when you met Ainz?"

"Master, I was mainly focused on my task, so I didn't really pay attention to others other than that skeleton; however, if I recall the events correctly... The skeleton seemed relatively calm, especially after I showed your crest... There was another entity in the room; I believe she was called, by the skeleton, Albedo. She was quite rude. Even after being warned by the skeleton, she still wanted to attack me, so I had to take action as well."

"I see; thank you for your insight. Now tell me, what you think of The Great Tomb Of Nazarick as a whole?"

"Master, if you are really interested in this lowly servent's opinion... I think they should be monitored at all costs. They might have malicious intentions."

"I see."

Said Dary, and then he stood up, stretched his body a bit, then looked back at his shadow, where the two purple eyes were still looking at him.

"How's your sibling's progress going?"

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

"Master did she really not report back after such a long time?! How dare she disrespect you?! Please allow me to teach her some manners!"

"No need. She is doing something which will take quite some time, so her not reporting is expected. I want you to give her the documents I just read and also call her here. She will have a message... no, a declaration to deliver! But before that, give me the rest of the documents."

"Yes, master!"

From the shadow, a hand reached out once again and gave a hand full of forms to Dary, along with an envelope.

"Thank you."

The purple eyes vanished, and Dary sat back down once again and proceeded to read the documents; he left the envelope for last. After Dary finished reading the documents, he put everything beside him the looked up at the sky. The sun was slowly going down at the horizon, and he gave out a loud sight.

"Maybe this time I should have more fun."

Dary smiled and finally opened the envelope. As he read the document in his shadow, the two purple eyes appeared once again. However, the entity did not speak up.

"Arcee; Dorcee... You should rest up because soon we will have some trouble to cause."

The letter in Dary's hand ignited and turned to ashes in a split second; then, he turned around and looked at the purple eyes. His amber eyes were glowing, and he had a wide smile on his face.

From his shadow, two entities appeared. One of them had purple eyes; the other had light blue. Both of them were made of some sort of liquid, and they looked at the ground.

"Arcee, thank you for calling your sister here. Dorcee, as for you, I will have you deliver a declaration to a special person. Also, I have to test something, so come back tomorrow morning."

Stated Dary and the two entities bowed, then stepped back into Dary's shadow, and they vanished.

"Alright... Let's see if that entity who brought me here really gave me valid information. Let's see wether I can really do it!"

Dary closed his eyes and extended his right hand. A red aura gathered around him, which soon started emitting in the surrounding area. From his extended hand, a red bolt of lightning hit the ground, lightning the grass on fire; the lightning drew a circle and then vanished. The fire started spreading, but the original circle turned red, and from the ground, a pillar of red energy appeared. The pillar created a sudden burst of air, instantly extinguishing the burning grass around it.

"It seems it really worked!"

The red pillar slowly dissipated and then vanished entirely; however, in its base, within the circle, a person stood. They were wearing a full plated light blue armour, along with three swords. The swords on each side and one on their back. The one on their back was a bit larger; also, the person was much shorter than Dary; almost half his size. The person the moment noticed Dary kneeled down.

"It's good to see you again, Enon."

"It is a pleasure to meet you too, my lord!"

"Enon, tell me, how are; or rather, how were things back there? "

"My lord, please rest assured, everything is perfectly fine! However, if I may speak up and tell my opinion, I would say it was way too peaceful for my taste."

"I know that; that is the reason I called you here. We will have some fun very soon!"

"My lord, I am delighted to hear that. I am honoured you thought of me! It makes me so happy!"

"Enon, take this and use it will when the time comes!"

Dary extended his hand, and a tiny red orb was in it. The orb gave a dim, pulsating red light. Enon looked at it, then carefully took it.

"Thank you very much! I will make sure I use it well."

"Excellent!"
