Chapter 6

"Fascinating... Our plans seem to have been leaked, or someone is purposely trying to sabotage us. That new guy shouldn't have appeared, and what's with his strength."

Stated a man wearing a white suit with a black shirt and with a light blue tie. The man had long, glimmering white hair, and his eyes were very light silver coloured. He was sitting on a throne in a throne room. The throne sat on the highest point of the room; it had four large stairs leading up to it. A white carpet was laid down from the throne all the way to the other side of the room, where a large, overly decorated metal door stood. Along the carpet, there were three massive stone pillars on each side. The pillars had three larger and two smaller rings around them.

"What would you like us to do with that one?"

Asked a butler kneeling at the bottom of the stairs while looking at the ground.

"Send someone capable; I want him to be dealt with. I don't want unexpected events occurring again."

"As you wish, sire!"

The butler stood up, bowed then left the room. The man sitting on the throne opened his left palm, and a white ball appeared in it; then, soon, Dary appeared in it. In the picture, Dary was standing on his wooden sword, which he used to pin Shalltear down. Dary was staring right back at the crystal as if he knew where to look.

"Newcomer, you are quite capable... if you survive this, we might be able to use you later."

Meanwhile, in The Great Tomb Of Nazarick, Ainz was sitting by his table in his study. His loyal guardian, Albedo, stood by his side.

"It has already been two days since I met Dary again. I would like to go and see him right now, but I don't know how well he would react; also, I don't think the guardians would be able to..."

Suddenly a strange shadow appeared before him, and this interrupted his line of thoughts. Albedo stepped forward, and then suddenly, from the shadow, a figure flowed out. The figure didn't seem to have a real body; it seemed like it was made of some kind of liquid as it was in motion continuously. The black creature had two purple eyes floating in its body all around; however, they were only looking at Ainz.

"How dare you intrude into Lord Ainz's study without his permission. It is an act punishable with death!"

The creature raised its hand with an open palm, showing a symbol on it. Albedo instantly jumped forward and was ready to engage the intruder.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

"Albedo! Stand down now!"

Declared Ainz with a cold tone, and the creature lowered its hand.

"As you wish, Lord Ainz! Can I..."

"I came here bearing a message to a being called Momonga. The description I was given suits you perfectly, so I assume you are him, correct?"

Interrupted the intruder Albedo, who was about to lose her cool but Ainz's reply calmed her down.

"Yes, I am. Why did you come, messenger?"

"I came here to deliver my lord's message."

The being pulled an envelope from his body and put it onto Ainz's table, then stepped back. On the envelope, there was a circle of leaves and a drop in the circle's centre.

"I see... thank you."

Said Ainz and a greenish aura appeared around him for a moment; then, he grabbed the envelope and opened it. In the envelope, Ainz found a sheet of paper which he pulled out and started reading it. Meanwile, Albedo grew more and more uneasy about the new entity in the room and was keeping her eyes on them; however, the messenger only looked at Ainz; they probably didn't even notice Albedo. After a few minutes of reading, Ainz put the paper down, looked back at the messenger, and then spoke up.

"The information is confidential, I do hope only your master and I have read it."

"Please rest assured! I would have been long executed if anyone else learned about this!"

"I see. Your porposel seems benefitial, however, the information provided in it. How can I be sure that it is the truth and no more than a lie or an over-exaggeration?!"

"Mr Momonga, I can asure you. No, I swear on my life that what you have read is not vanity information!"

"M-m-MR?! HOW DARE YOU!!!"

Screamed Albedo, and she dashed forward; however, the moment she was about to reach the intruder, the being vanished and appeared behind her and grabbed her shoulder.

"I have no information about you, but should you delay us any further, I will have to retaliate..."

"Albedo, stand down NOW!"

"My master said I should avoid any sort of conflict; however, he also asked me to be quick. So delaying me means I am not able to keep his orders; thus, I am disrespecting him... Now, if you don't mind, please write down your reply, and I shall deliver it to him."

Declared the messenger, then let go of Albedo's shoulder, who was gritting her teeth but stayed still. As for Ainz, he took out a fresh, empty sheet of paper and started writing. After finishing writing it, he placed the paper back into the envelope and used a stamp to seal it. Then gave it back to the messenger who, after taking it, nodded and turned back into a shadow and vanished. After a few minutes, Albedo let out a loud sight.

"Lord Ainz, Why did you stop me from teaching that thing some manners? That thing disrespected you greatly!!"

"Albedo, they brought a number of very interesting pieces of information."

"B-but..."

"Albedo, please inform Aura Mare and Demiurge. We will have to slightly alter our plans."

"My lord?"

"Call them here within the hour! We have very important events to discuss!"

"Right away!"

Albedo bowed and then left the study. Ainz stood up and started thinking.

"This will be quite intriguing!"
