Well, that was horrifying. I don't think I feel safe if humans have ways to rip the fabric of the universe for explosions.
What's worse is that they did it in a place with no magic, I can only imagine what they could do here if they were so compelled. Another part of me tugs and I pull on another book, not a heavy one, but like a furniture manual. A really thick furniture manual.
"User manual and strategic guide for being a dungeon" signed Alpha. I sense shenanigans, and open.

The Sister looked at the land and considered, the interloper had attached himself much like a seed and that would need to change if she was gonna keep her brother around. A single note sent down through the world asking for another to pour herself into, this one less as an investment and more as a chore.
With that on the way and Delta in her space it was time to look for gardening advice.
[-ping-]
"What's this?" She turned and smiled, already some issue had been brought up by the fledgling dungeon, something about acting proactively. Given his role and isolation that would be handy.
She cracked her knuckles and looked over at the dungeon world effect box, half or more of its components out of date and all webbed over with corrupted or miscompiled strings.
Oh yes, gardening advice would indeed help her.

The sun has gone and come back again by the time I put my book down. I look around with new eyes for traps and breaches, I find nothing but a big hole in my ceiling.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
My room, my core room is a blank and unadorned void in the dirt, with a big gash in the roof where the elevation intercepts my ceiling. Where others might want to deepen or widen it I feel content to be set into the floor, even if things are constantly trying to grow into me.
I do know I can absorb the roots to get decorations and materials from them but my reach is limited and power finite. Never the less I do want me a good slurp. I see my mana course up a single tendril of a tree root, leaking out to go out and consume, and when it returns, profit.

Hello box...wait
[expedition returned: 14 mana, 12 DP, raw wood research, raw stone research, plant research, fungus research]
Ah...
It's wet and woody and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about this, there's a lot of fungus and bacteria here too, mostly to help the root break down minerals.
I look at my core room again and squirm, I am full of mana and this is just a pit. Anything that comes in will just dissolve slowly until it either kills me or dies and absorbs into me. With the weird taste in my mouth i set to filling my walls with roots for things to climb on, the design being like a net woven in two layers and i barely get down one small section before I'm down to 10 mana.
I know it regenerates, so I'll wait. And itch.
I feel itchy, like there's some fundamental nagging thing I'm forgetting about.

With a whoop and a holler The Sister jumped and spun, rejoicing in a triumph. Reintroducing it to dungeons as a whole would need to be a selective process and handled with a great deal of care at that. But. She had done it, overhauled an old archaic thing to make it work again.
The whole musty box say before her though and she looked at it with dread when she finally calmed down, looking around and seeing nothing else but other chores she sighed and started working on something that might make her happy eventually.
If she was gonna ask others to play with them she should at least clean up her own toys, at least this way there'd be very close monitoring of what her new friend(hopefully) put stress on in the expedition system. That part already looked a bit hot so clearly improvements needed to be made here and there.

I have made a terrible mistake, on the plus side if i just leave it all unclaimed the mass of mana shouldn't descend upon me with its crushing force. Sending them down at least returns less mana...right?
That's the reason you're not back yet?
