Scouting

-Two days before Rogers' execution.

After learning that since I'm a stone, I didn't really need sleep as I stayed in my stone form and used my connections with the stones in my inventory to make some changes to my already somewhat finished plans. I won't be risking exposure as of yet, especially on Roger's big day, since I'll more then likely be caught by those monsters in some way or the other. I'll probably try a different tactic, like the world stones were always there, just in a different colour and shaped like average pebbles on the square.

I'm going to try making the world stones change its appearance from my connection with it. I take out a standard ID world stone and give it the command for changing into a pebble that I collected and scanned along with other random things earlier. The world stone does change into the pebble that I picked and put in my inventory earlier. An interesting thing I noticed is that since the world stone doesn't have any energy stored, it took the required energy through my connection from me. I put it back into my inventory and make a mental note that all the world stones will be changed to the gravel or any small stones in the square of the execution platform. Then all I'll have to do is command them to transform back.

Since I know I can make them into different shapes and the illusion worlds can still be accessed, I came up with the idea of making illusion world avatars as a new feature. This feature would allow people who have a lot of WS points (points from daily check-in to putting treasures into the display cases and other sources) to change the appearance of the world stone into a creature. The creature could be any creature as I'll just continue to scan more of them. These creature's size will also determine the amount of energy they'll have to spend since this feature will only be useable if they have enough energy stored inside their stones.

The creatures will sort of follow the owners of the stones commands and also listen to basic commands like stay here, fly in circles, move forward or just sleep. Along with these commands and loyalty, for the creatures mannerisms, it'll be the same as before it died as it'll have an A I based on those memories who'll act as them, this'll will of course store all the data in the stones.

Now I'm not a biased person but I'll also give an option at the start which'll be similar to a factions choice with the options being Marines, Pirates and Civilians. Each of these will have different skins for there world stones as well as will be more relevant when the later features will be implemented.

Since Sengoku has a pet goat, so I obviously made it so the marines have the option to turn the stones into goats. It also seems that these animals can indeed eat what their diet used to be in order to move around and maintain the shape of that specific animal. They also don't have a problem with how much they eat only if the energy storage is full or not. Which also means that the smaller ones that're the size of a pebble or cup will probably be the best low maintenance pets for civilians at least. It'll still be interesting to see every other person have a pet of some sorts of all sizes following them around.

Other then these new features, I made another one that's more of the A I just using the data that I give to it and makes a sort of 3D map which helps me navigate areas more easily. I went and made 10 A.I seagulls whose main job is to basically fly constantly and explore areas which aren't on the map yet. These don't need rest or food since they'll get the energy from me.

I will increase their quantity sometime in the future, once I have a decent number of people constantly supplying me with energy. I tried making my own seagull form a bit larger, like the size of a goat large. I also made this seagull appearance have some lizard like skin on the underside with a black colour along with changing the seagulls colour to black as well, since I'm going to Loguetown at night and also because I wanted the flying skin of mine to be special.

This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it

It took 3 hours of constant flight to finally arrive above Loguetown. There weren't many lights on at this hour but this somewhat of a massive island should've been named LogueCity since it was the size of a city. It didn't look as modern and well kept as it was in the One Piece series since the Great Era of Pirates hasn't started yet. I found an abandoned nest above one of the chimneys of a house and slept there since I'm planning to start in the morning. Morning came quite fast considering I came here after midnight. The town was quite lively and people were very active which makes sense since the world called most evil man is going to be executed.

The marines were patrolling in very short patterns and you could basically see them in very street in a pair, marching about. Well, they probably won't be asking a small grey beetle any questions. Still in the nest, I took 20 world stones out of my inventory and made them transform into a fast beetle that can fly which I caught in my seagull form. These grey small beetles will scout the area and map it out entirely, the little energy needed for beetles to fly and move about is enough for me to have hundreds to quickly scan the area but I would like to play it safe since I know there will probably be troublesome people who'll find a swarm of beetles with the same colour as the road that are flying low to be very suspicious.

It didn't take much time to find the execution platform as it was higher in height so as to be seen from anywhere on the island and also because it was in the town square. The ground near the platform had grey tiles in circular patterns. I had all the beetles come and spread around the platform.

Then I had all the world stones in my inventory change into tiny pebbles that're grey and could fit into the various beetles' mouth, with my connection, I summoned the small grey pebbles into their mouths and mine and begun placing them between the tiles at regular intervals. After about an hour, I got bored so I just made the process automatic and left a disguised world stone at the top of the platform and teleported back to the nest in the previous town.

Here I went to a deserted alleyway to changed back to my human form then went to the local restaurant to eat as much as I can. While eating, I also went and made a downgraded map function which people could use by turning their world stone into a tablet of sorts. It only shows a limited number of apps according to the features available currently, which is still fine by me. This tablet version could be unlocked by those who got a skin for their world stone. The tablet's exterior will be similar to the faction of the person.

I found out that I could unlock an extra one meter cubed of my inventory by expending energy so another function that I'm thinking of is making part of the inventory available for private use, or course they'll have to pay double the energy required to unlock one meter cubed of the inventory the rest of the energy will sort of be my profit. This way I'll set the treasures or whatever they put into the inventory at autoscan, meaning I'll have data on devil fruits, jewels and other nifty things as well. Treasures like devil fruits, when scaned will have their data sent to my email in the form of an image with summarised description of it.

Now that I made the restaurant cook nearly faint from the food that I ate, I paid the bill and went to an empty alleyway and teleported to another town further from here in the form of a beetle, this is incase some random monster's observation haki picks up on me. Here I watched the second process of my mapping seagulls. Every time they find an island with or without a town, they'll stay in the air for a while. During which multiple tiny fast beetles are made usually fifty to a hundred, after dropping these, the seagull continues on its straight path. These beetles then spread out and sweep the island and get enough visual data for a detailed 3d map of it. They then go towards each other and get put into the inventory. The last one teleports to a seagull and puts itself into the inventory again. This is my current genius way for maping and making a grand teleportation system. I've made all the necessary arrangements and now I'm pretty much free for the coming day and a half so I'll just go around increasing my scaned items and animals.
