Becoming a duelist

AARGH! "My arm! What have you done?"

Sky searches  for his dagger on the ground, he picked it up and cut his throat in one attack.

"YOU!" The man falls on the ground with his eyes open of disbelief.

[I don't understand what is happening. I should deactivate my power first before an accident happen] 

"Ultimatum deactivation." His left eye is back to normal.

[My body feels weird, it's slower and heavier. But this is what I feel normally with my body. The abnormal moment begins  when I activated my powers.]

Sky examines the man body for some clues about his real identity.  A tattoo is engraved on his chest. 

[It's a dragon? ] Sky cuts his skin off where the tattoo is located. He can later ask around for information about this dragon. 

He suddenly remembers Vaan and quickly searches for him. He saw the body and his severed head. 

[Vaan......]

Sky knows him only for one month, but he stills feel sad.

[I going to bury him and the others ]

After he buried Vaan and the villagers he left.

The city is really close to the village. It's only two hours off walking.

It's evening and Sky finally reaches the city. There are three guards nearby the city gate.

"Hold it stranger!" said the guard

"What's the problem?" Sky asked

"We won't let a murder inside the city."

"Me? A murder?"

"Someone from the nearby village saw you killing everyone."

[Someone has a grudge against me.]

"I'm not the one who massacred the village. Maybe he saw me killing the murder and he thought I'm the one responsible for this."

"There is no point denying it." a voice said

An extremely beautiful girl with long black hair appeared outside the gate. She hears their conversations and butts in.

[She is beautiful.]

His heart fluttered when Sky saw her. This is the first time he sees a girl about his age.

He grows up with his father never knows his mom. His father died because of an illness. He is forced to wandering around the world by himself since the age of ten. He never lives in the same place longer than two months. 

He doesn't have friends because of his circumstances. Vaan is the only friend he actually had in six years and now he died.

"I'm not the murder and I have a proof." He takes out the skin with the dragon tattoo.

"I cut his skin when I killed him. He is from some organisation I think."

He explained everything to the girl. How Vaan stoles a blue stone from him, How the man killed the entire village.

The only detail that he left open is that he obtained an ultimate ability with the blue stone.

"This is dragon tattoo belongs to an organisation about the exile." said the girl

"The exile?"

"They are a group of people that lose their rights as a duelist."

"The group is split into two." she continued

"The first group are the ones who lose their stones in duels. They are less dangerous than the second group. There are some high ranked duelists in this group. 

"The second group consists of dangerous criminals. They will kill people for stones, equipment or money. They hunt in groups against a duelist, unlike the first group who works alone."

"Why are those two groups working together?"

"For safety reasons. They won't attack each other and they share information ."

"How do you know so much about them?" 

The girl doesn't respond and whispers something to the guards. She walks back inside the city.

"Hey, you can go into the city." said one of the guards

"Who is this girl?"

"You should some respect to her. She is the highest ranked duelist in this city."

"What is her rank then?"

"Fourth"

[She is a single digit? She is extremely powerful then]

Sky thanked the guards and goes through the gate.

It's already evening. Sky is looking for a place to sleep. He got no money for an inn. He looks around and saw some people are still working, some are drinking beer, some are talking with each other.

Someone approach him and asks, "Hey there young man looking for a place to sleep?" He is a man with brown hair and wearing black clothes.

"I don't have money."

"But it's free."

"Free? Where is this place then?"

"Come follow me."

[He acts so suspiciously. I should follow him and see what he is hiding. ]

"Alright."

After walking for ten minutes, they arrived in a quiet street. He leads Sky towards a big abandoned house. 

"Here it is."

He walks inside and saw other people in the main hall. There is a girl with red hair, two men in  black hats, an old grandpa with a walking stick, a young mother with her child and handsome boy with silver hair.

[What is this? Sort of inn for poor people or something?]

"He is the last one." said the man with brown hair

The man walks in the middle of the hall and said

"Attention everyone! I shall first introduce myself. My name is David Khoras and an ex-duelist. You all gathering here today because you want to join the exile."

"What are you talking about?" said the girl with red hair

"Is this a sort cult or something?" said one of the men in black hat

"I'm leaving here, he promise me some money and new clothes for my child but I think he is crazy." said the mother

 "No one is leaving here without my permission." said the man in brown hair coldly.

"What are you going to do?" said one of the men in black hat

He is walking towards the door and but the brown haired man already appeared in front of him.

[He is fast.]

"This is my last warning."

"Fuck off! He wants to push the brown haired man aside."

"Combustion!" 

AAARGGHHHH MY BODY IS BURNING HELP ME! His entire body is in flames. He starts to running then rolling on the ground and finally dies from the heat.

"You are crazy!" said the other man with the black hat.

"Anyone want to leave now?." 

"I want to leave." said the silver haired boy

"Then die!"  "Fireball!" A ball of fire is shot from the man hands aiming towards the boy.

"Summon soul sword." A blue sword appeared in the hand of the silver haired boy. He cuts the fireball in two and rush towards the man.

"Tsss a troublesome brat."  "Firewall!" A wall of fire appeared in front of the man. The boy stopped for a moment "Crosscut!" He swings his horizontally and vertically at the same time.

The wall is destroyed leaving the man in a vulnerable state.

The boy wants to finish him off but then he heard something

[It's a trap?] thought the boy BOOM! The explosion causes fire around the ground. The silver haired boy is hurt. 

"You are tougher than I thought." said the man while looking at the silver haired boy.

"Let's me play with you." "Firesword!" A sword of fire appeared out of his hand.

"Fire slash!" A slash of fire is flying towards the boy.

"Crosscut!" He manages to cut down the slash but the man appeared in front of him and manage to wound him with his fire sword.

SLASH!SLASH! The boy is cut down by the man. His body is burning and bleeding. The man continues with his merciless attack the boy manage to parry some attack but most them cuts the boy.

[He is just too fast!] thought the boy

[He is losing, I should help him.]

But then he heard someone saying "Earthfist" A fist appeared from the ground and hits the man. The man flew towards the ceiling and breaks it. The girl with red hair is the one who summoned the fist.

"GO OUTSIDE NOW" yelled the girl

 Everyone is running outside the house.

"Go ask help from the guards." said Sky

"And you?" ask the old man

"I'm staying!"

The girl helps the silver haired boy to get up and asks "Are you alright."

"I'm fine."

"HOW DARE YOU TO WALK OUT!"

They turned around and saw the brown haired man 

The brown haired is already recovered from the attack. He looks extremely angrily.

"Shut up you insane bastard. We ain't joining your cult."

"Summon earth golem!"  She created an earth golem. The golem is only 1,5 meters because there is not enough earth mass in the mansion.

The golem jumps towards the man. But the man is faster than the golem. 

The girl and the boy wants to escape while the golem is distracting him.

However the man saw them leaving and said "Firepillar"

Four pillars arise from the ground preventing them leaving. While he was chanting the spell he got punched by the golem."Dissolve" said the girl. The golem dissolves himself and several pieces of stones are flying towards him with high speed. He can't dodge them all. His face gets cut by the stones. 

The pieces of stones form an earth golem again and is ready to attack.

Suddenly he appeared above the golem and chant "Flare".

The golem gets caught inside his attack and is turned into dust.

"My earth golem!" 

"Crosscut!" The four pillar are split into four by the boy. "You get out of here. I buy time!"

"No, I can't leave you alone. Lets fight him together."

"Idiot, you will only lose your live. GO NOW!"

"But." before she finished speaking the man already attacked her.

"Flare!" The fire surrounds the girl and burns her.

"AAAH! screamed the girl

She fainted from the heat. "One down, one more to go." 

"Fuck you!" The boy attacks the man relentlessly with his blue sword.

"You are too slow."  "Fla.!" A stone hits  his mouth before he can finish chanting.

A black haired boy entered the mansion. His left eye color is blue and his pupil is ∾  shaped.

He holds a dagger in his right hand.
