Observation:

You know Pione, right?

The little fur ball that moves when you sing to it? That seems rather cute, until you meet its soft body, and realize it can trap you with its hair and drag your hand into its maw.

Yeah, it seems it is capable of learning, I sang to it, and it sang back, repeating my sounds in an eerily twisted way.

And it was kind of captivating, luring me into petting it... and that's how I lost my right Hand, you need to be wary around that bugger, I think it has some kind of Psychic ability which surprises me a lot, as the P series is made entirely out of shapeshifters, with a few of them having other physical powers.

It's a beautiful creature, all its hairs are so furry, and its beautiful teeth... fuck, I am still under its influence, ain't I?

Goodbye for a while, maybe I can give a less biased opinion once I stopped hearing this melody in the back of my head, but it's a dark version of Little Boy Blue, kind of Ironic, isn't it? A song about a neglectful shepherd led me to be neglectful and accidentally lose my hand.

I hope we can replace it with a Bionic version soon, or maybe we can start our own production line? Though Starlab Bionics would have a certain stigma to it, given that we are globally wanted for trying to understand Theta radiation, the thing that pervades the whole planet of Yonoth and the surrounding star system.

It seems to emanate from the things called rifts, a goo-like substance that sometimes collides with planets in the system, spreading Theta radiation, triggering mutations and core formation in many living beings, though we are successful in exploding most Rifts before they get close to the system...

Sorry, I am getting sidetracked, to put it short:

The little fuzzy fur ball is a psychic capable of learning, I recommend killing it and stopping further testing. But as you probably won't listen, you should free it, and- no, damn, that mind effect is still active... you should test its limitations, learn how to kill it, and use it to make sure the United Terran Hero Operation and the Rift subjugation service don't notice our presence, in case of an emergency, we should send it out with all the other mental creatures.

Adition: you need to lock it back up, while running away I left its cage open, so it might have disappeared... and I pray to the Great 7 that we catch it before it runs away.
