Get your read on if you haven't yet. It'll be coming down next Friday, for a Kindle Unlimited/Audible release on October 1st.
I suppose I should update the cover on royalroad here to the third book. I've put it off for a little just because I love the cover of book two so much, but book 3 also slays, and the cover for book 4 looks amazing. I'm mostly babbling now.
While we're talking about announcements:
Castleless, my astral-punk, malleable reality, conceptual-power based litrpg is now on Royalroad, and you should check it out, too. Let me talk a little about the power system in Castleless. Each person has four attributes, Strength, Agility, Vitality, and Essence. (S.A.V.E.). Some lucky few awaken and bind a concept to one of their attributes naturally, but there are also people called Enkindlers who can bind a concept for you. Binding the same concept to a different attribute results in different power manifestations based on the concept and attribute. Each concept gets five abilities that upgrade as the individual progresses.
Let's take a look at a character you meet in chapter 13 of Castleless, Chrys. Chrys is a Gneissling, or Rock Person, who is made out of Chrysocolla (Cu, Al)

When we meet her she has two concepts bound, which puts her in the noobie rank of Ruby. Her two starting concepts? Sympathy and Copper.
With Sympathy bound to her Essence, she has developed her powers to allow her to see sympathetic links, turn powerful emotions into buffs or debuffs, transmute or alter the physical and spiritual nature of items to better suit their owner, consume material to generate short lived boosts, or defend herself with empathic backlashes.
With Copper bound to her Vitality attribute, she has the abilities to transform her energy into copper to manipulate and control, alter her own malleability and desnity, heal organic beings and fight infections, produce a copper cloud that functions as offense and defense, and manipulate intense green flames for welding/soldering.
I think Chrys is super cool, and obviously I really like the idea of the conceptual bindings.
