Chapter 04 Fireworks

[Cyan]: “Now, let's get going, [Portal Open]”

A blue portal appeared in front of them, this was a cash item that Cyan has prepared in advanced, it wasn’t very expensive, and it could take you almost anywhere, but you could not use it inside dungeons, nevertheless it was very handy item to have.

Cyan entered the [Portal] first followed by Cynthia.

Cynthia didn’t feel anything strange as she crossed the portal, appearing through the other side, now the scenery has completely change from the one the one before.

Beginner village was gone, and in exchange a night sky full of beautiful shining stars was presented in front of Cynthia, there were even two bright moons in the sky, one red and one blue. The stars were decorating the night sky like a Christmas tree, and it was something truly wonderful for Cynthia as she had never seen this kind of thing before in her short life.

While Cynthia was hypnotized by the change in scenery a group of people had come to welcome them.

[Unknown]: “Cyan you came just in time”

[Cyan]: “Guild leader, thank you again for reserving this place, I know it should had being very expensive.

[Guild Leader]: “Don’t mention it, my father works for the company that develops the Oban capsules so I can get pretty good discounts, now is this your little sister?”

[Cyan]: “That’s right, let me introduced her, this is Cynthia”

[Everyone]: “Welcome to Oban Cynthia”

[Cynthia]: “Thanks all of you for having me today”

Cynthia bowed to the crow.

[Guild Leader]: "Cynthia is this your first time in Oban?"

Cynthia nodded.

[Guild Leader]: “Alright, come on Cynthia sit over here, I knew you were coming so I save you the best sits, by the way Cyan do you know if Serah will be coming today”

[Cyan]: “She was busy with work today but she told me that if she has the time she would come”

[Guild Leader]: “Too bad, well at least you got your little sister with you so you will not be all alone”

Guild Leader was try mock to Cyan as he knew he has a crush on Serah, on the other hand Cyan wanted to hit this despicable friend of him for rubbing salt on his wounds.

[Cynthia]: “Big brother look its starting”

Cyan looked over the night sky but he could not see anything…

[Guild Leader]: “Where, I don’t see anything”

[Cynthia]: “Over there”

At the place Cynthia was pointing out in the sky a huge colorful explosion occurred, dressing the sky with light as the fireworks raised in the sky.

Cyan could have a sigh of relief as the event started, just to reach here a lot of things had happen, but he could now softly whisper.

[Cyan]: “Happy Birthday Cynthia”

[Cynthia]: "Thank you for bringing me today big brother"

[Cyan]: "Don’t mention it, that’s what big brother are for"

Just as Cyan was planning to pat the head of his cute little sister, a ring interrupted Cyan

[Cyan]: “Huh? That’s weird where is…”

He had very easily identified what this ring was, it was went someone was calling you, but where was the screen? A short instant later.

[Cyan]: “… the screen”

The missing screen appeared in front of him, but it was still behaving weirdly as it started to flicker in and out of existence and the text was very messy and hard to read, nevertheless, Cyan still could read the caller Id, it was Serah call.

[Cyan]: “Accept call”

[Serah]: “…(static)…”

[Cyan]: “Serah?”

Static was the only thing he could hear at first, but then he could finally hear the voice of Serah coming from the other side of the call between the static.

[Serah]: “...(static)…Cyan...(static)...”

[Cyan]: “Serah where are you? I can't hear you, there is too much static”

[Serah]: "...(static)…don't...(static)…come…(static) "

[Cyan]: "Hello? Serah? What do you mean?”

 [Call disconnected]

The call had being full of static but Cyan could still pick two words…

[Cyan]: “Don’t come… to where?”

Cyan went over his contact list and tried to call Serah back, but she appeared to be disconnect, he even left some messages but he didn’t have much hope she would read them because she was disconnected after all.

[Cyan]: "What was all that about…"

[Cynthia]: "Is everything alright big brother"

Cynthia has come to see why her brother has moved away from the crow and was moving his hands in to the air with a worry face.

[Cyan]: "It’s nothing, everything is fine little sis, you just go back and keep watching over the fireworks, I will go in just a second"

Cynthia nodded and went to her sit, she trusted her big brother the most, if he said everything was fine, then there was not anything to worry about.

Cyan tried again but he still could get in contact with Serah, he tried to contact support but they too didn't answered, something bad has had to happen for not even a single support staff to answer his call.

Soon, all of his contacts status shown disconnected, even his own guild members that were watching over the fireworks show in front of him.

[Cyan]: "What is going on?"
