We start on a Monday morning eight o' clock the Nebraska minning workers are hard at work minning lead. The business is mainly performed by O'Baily citizens since it is close to their moderate sized town. The miners are minning for lead when they hear what could only be a sound like someone knocking on the wall, the miners stop minning and look at each other for there wasn't any chambers, that they know of, on the other side of the wall. The knocking happens again only this time its louder and faster. The four miners put down their pick axes and barely have time to leave when their mine shaft collapses in to its self. The miners look at each other and run from the mine and tell their boss what happened. The boss shrugs it off as being their echoes of their pick axes, but he look uncomfortable. The boss gives them the rest of the day off as he sends five other employees in to the shaft to clear it out.

It doesn't take them long to clear out the shaft, but they hear knocking on the walls. The miners look at each other as the shaft collapses in front of them again. The miners rush out of the shaft and report everything that just happened.

“What you saying that we have Kobolds looking after us,” the boss says annoyed as he enters the shaft to find it collapsed.

The boss clears away the debris and is about to pick up the pick axes when he hears knocking further down the shaft, he doesn't stay but he knows that the miners were telling the truth for the shaft further down collapses.

Kobolds are mountain fairies and if you ever hear knocking inside of a mountain then be aware you might be in danger.
