In the end, Tesilim did not need to worry too much. It turns out that sex magic can do many things, one of which is to prevent pregnancy. And since Tesilim damn well knew he wasn’t the only one the dryads were giving fun baths to, he doubted they would want to have a kid from some random inn guest. As such, the party moved on with the day as they got in line to speak with Penny.
After waiting a bit, it was finally their turn, and they walked up to the cubicle with their favorite guild person. As always, she gave them a warm smile and welcome.
“Hello! How can I help you all today? Tesilim, I'm glad to see you haven’t turned yourself into a chicken or something.”
Tesilim just gave her a wide smile and decided it was best not to say anything incriminating. After all, they had caused quite a decent amount of destruction in the forest.
“Hey, Penny, glad to see you’re well. We are doing just fine, too. We are here because of an issue with a fey incursion. We reported it early last night and were told to return and give you this.” Lili stepped up and handed Penny the note from the night before.
Penny took the note, took out a book from under her desk, and, after flipping through, excused herself. She came back a minute or so later with the folder in hand. Taking a seat, she opened the folder and, after reading through the contents, finally addressed the party again.
“All right, so it says here that the city has relinquished control of the extermination to the guild. The guild believes that the incursion is still young but must be eliminated immediately due to its proximity to the city. So, after consulting with our clairvoyance team, the guild felt that the threat was strong enough to need a party of at least four High D Rankers. However, because your team was the one that found it and you have a Low C Rank member, the guild has decided to offer you the mission. Would your team like to accept this mission?”
The party took a few seconds to register the information. Afterward, everyone looked at each other to see if anyone disagreed before they finally nodded.
“Yes, we will take the mission. Can we please get more details regarding our old mission and what will constitute the completion of this new one?” Lili asked since she was the team's current designated spokesperson.
Smiling at Lili, Penny quickly answered, “First, upon completing this new mission, your old mission will also be marked complete, and you will receive the reward for both. Now, regarding your new mission, well, here you are.”
Penny gave the team the folder, and they all took turns reading it. Of course, when Lili accepted the mission, Tesilim gained the popup, which stated pretty much the same stuff in the folder's papers.

🔷
After properly accepting the mission, the team said goodbye to Penny and quickly left the guild. Since they didn't have anything else that required their immediate attention within the city, they decided to head towards the fey area immediately.
----------------------------------------
The party quickly left the city and were on their way to the fey cave. It was yet another beautiful sunny day with sparse clouds and a constant breeze. The goal for the party was to avoid as much combat as possible while getting to the cave since they would need all of their resources once in there. Not that they had much control over crazy monsters that didn’t have any regard for their own lives. So, on alert for danger, the party made their way through the forest while talking about a few things. This mainly revolved around two things: one, Jasmine and some support techniques she could develop; two, Tesilim and his two new spells.
Jasmine's strategy session was not going too great because the half-elf really just enjoyed using magic freely. So, even though little progress was made, she promised that she would begin working on some ideas for support techniques. However, what got everybody off her back was the fact that she had a technique that was sort of a finishing move. It was supposed to do a lot of damage in a fairly large area, which was good enough for everyone involved.
On the other hand, Tesilim had Alyx take a look at his two new spells. The gnome checked the wording and what Tesilim was trying to accomplish and gave him a thumbs up. So, the party paused for a few minutes to allow Tesilim to chant without distraction.
The first spell was an extremely basic one that most casters learned, and Tesilim had basically copied and pasted it.
Summon Winds of Flight: This version of the fly spell is the most common of its type, and it uses simple evocation magic to lift the user with summoned winds. The spell is rather inefficient and requires great skill to use in combat. However, due to its simplistic nature, this fly spell is one that many aspiring casters learn early in their careers.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Though the spell can be used to lift multiple targets in a wide area, the requirement to do so effectively requires having skill with precise Presence Casting. Otherwise, the user will spend incredible amounts of mana while trying to summon large amounts of wind in a wide area.
Current Rank: D.
Magic Type: Simple Magic - Evocation.
Concentration: Yes.
Mana Use: Constant.
Use: Utility.
AoE: Yes.
Multi-Target: Yes.
It took Tesilim a minute to say the incantation, having to get the pronunciation just right.
"By skyward winds and wings of air;
Lift me up beyond all care;
Grant me flight, swift and free;
Soar the heavens, and carry me."
Throughout the incantation, a strong wind began to build up around Tesilim until his mana eventually began draining at a bit too fast a pace, and he was slowly lifted off the ground. In his excitement to fly, Tesilim ended up pumping way too much mana too fast, causing the spell to ramp up and making him go straight up.
Without control, it wasn’t long before he slammed into a branch and lost concentration, making the spell fizzle out and causing him to fall straight down. Thankfully, Lili caught him in a princess carry and put him safely on the ground, laughing her ass all the while. Naturally, Alyx was also having the time of his life, with Rose eventually joining in and Jasmine attempting to hide a smile.
Sighing, Tesilim decided to leave that spell be for now and pulled up the description of the next one.
Summon Flame Drake: The Summon Drake spell is used to conjure a medium-sized drake. This particular incantation conjures a Flame Drake. However, other incantations can be used to conjure a wide variety of drakes, each being attuned to the concept and magic of the incantation. Additionally, the drake’s power level will never be higher than the summoners, and its summon period solely depends on the amount of mana used to conjure it, equaling 1 Hour Per 100 Mana. The drake is only able to follow basic commands such as “Attack, Follow, Stay, etc.” Finally, taking damage and using any of its powers lowers the drake's original summon timer.
Current Rank: D.
Magic Type: Simple Magic - Conjuration.
Concentration: No.
Mana Use: One-off.
Use: Summon.
AoE: No.
Multi-Target: No.
Now, that was a spell Tesilim was excited about, and he didn’t wait to start his chant.
"By fire's heart and ember's wake;
I call thee forth, flame-born drake;
With molten breath and searing flame;
Reduce my foes to ash and shame."
Much like the last spell, this one took a bit of time. Tesilim still struggling with pronunciation. With this particular spell, and like with many conjuration spells, Tesilim had to designate a spot where the creature would be made. This had to be chosen before the incantation began in order to speed up the process. Then, during the incantation, Tesilim's chosen area began to glow with faint red light. It came as a flicker first, then with embers and smoke, the flicker of light grew as it took the shape of a drake.
The drake was basically a mini flightless dragon. Tesilim just imagined if a dragon got shrunken down to the size of a lion. Its wings were clipped, and it became a bit more lithe, though the body shape could not be that generalist, and it probably depended on the type of drake it was. This drake, in particular, came in shades of red with the scales at the deeper end of crimson while its belly was lighter orange-red.
It had some bony spines poking up from and all down its spine, along with sharp claws and two horns pointing backward in the classic red dragon style. Much like all the bony appendages, the claws were black, and so were its teeth.
For eyes, it had two orbs of flame that shifted in color like the flames of a campfire. Overall, the drake was clearly more of a skirmishing type meant for running, biting, and clawing while dodging any significant attacks.
Everyone sort of just looked at the monster Tesilim had summoned, and Tesilim was content to stare at it until Alyx pointed something out.
“Hey, Tesilim, have you been able to properly identify a creature yet?”
Then, the two guys met eyes, and Tesilim pushed his will on his summoned monster, and quickly gained access to the information.

🔷Creature Information🔷
Name: Flame Drake.
Summoner: Tesilim Telsy.
Rank: Low D Rank.
Type: Conjured Drake.
Size: Medium.
Duration: 1 Hour.
Arcane Mana: 100/100.
Active Abilities: Fire Breath. Flame Control. Flame Empowerment.
Passive Abilities: Fire Resistance. Draconic Scales. Dark Vision. Conjured Body. Low D Rank Body.
Description: A Flame Drake summoned by Tesilim Telsy. The drake can breathe fire and exert control over its flames or over others by spending mana. As a conjured creature of fire, all of its attacks can be empowered by expending mana. These attacks are hotter and deal more damage than their non-empowered versions.
Due to the drake’s fire concept, it is resistant to fire magic along with the temperature brought by the concept, as long as the magic does not exceed the drake's own rank in strength.
Its draconic scales give the drake an additional minor increase in resistance to all magic and a major increase in resistance to physical attacks. Since the drake is a conjured creature, it may spend mana to repair any damage taken to its body. Finally, the drake’s physical capabilities are limited to Low D Rank due to its conjurer’s own power level.

Tesilim read it, and it was just what he was expecting. So, he motioned to Lili and Alyx, who were reluctant to reveal his invisible screen to the other two. However, at this point, Tesilim felt like the two weren’t that bad. He wouldn’t bring them into the fold of seeing the screen but would actually explain what was going on since they were giving all three weird looks.
“Basically, I have some Innate Magic that lets me see information about the world in invisible illusionary boxes. It's a thing I got while traveling here via a weird magical portal to help me adapt to this world. They can see it because I permitted them. I am still thinking about letting you two see it if you even want to.”
Rose and Jasmine, hearing Innate Magic and the fact that Jasmine herself was hiding some of her powers, accepted the facts and moved on. In truth, it's not like this innate power affected them much. What would affect them were Alyx’s following words.
“Hey, Tesilim, what do you think would happen if we empowered this with your special magic?”
