It has been days since we defeated the half lich in the graveyards. Ruke was waiting for me when I woke up. He congratulated me from defeating the half lich and told me that the mana distortion was successfully fix. He told me he has something to tell me after I fully recover.
Jushar visited me next and was grateful for the contributions I did. After the mana distortion was fixed, the corpses in the graveyard stopped turning into an undead. He said the village will be indebt to me. I told him that I volunteered for this so there wouldn’t be any debt.
After hearing that I’m awake, Ehrhard and Nara were the next to drop by. They checked if I was okay and we talked about various things that happened in the village while I was unconscious. They told me it wasn’t the same without me helping in the works in the village.
Soon I was able to stand up again. The effects of the shout of the half lich to my body was severe. I was told I might have been dead if it weren’t for my unusual stat in magic resistance. That reminds me, I leveled up to level 60 due giving the last “hit” to the half lich.
This is currently my stats

Not much change though, except that I’m finally level 60. I wonder if Jushar will allow me to leave the village and class change. Should I leave the village? Well it’ll depend on the class I’ll change to. I wish it’ll be better than before.
There is also another thing that is new. It looks like I learned how to cast spells without scrolls. Looking at it, these are some of the spells I used when I was in the graveyard. But why didn’t I learn Fireball? There must be some kind of rule here.
The dry sound of the door being knock broke my thoughts.
“Come in.” (Iso)
Ruke opened the door and entered. Ah, now I remember him saying we’ll talk again after I recovered. He grabs a chair near him and sits in front of me. It looks like he gained more white hair since the graveyard incident. He is still wearing his leather-iron armor along with his sword at his back.
“I forgot to thank you for lending me the scrolls.” I went first to start the conversation
“Keep it, you may. If I just keep it, it is useless. Better for you to keep it.” (Ruke)
“You have my thanks. So, what do you want to talk about?” (Iso)
“When we went to the graveyard, the guardian was a half lich. If we haven’t subdued it, it’ll most likely turn into a lich. That will cause a lot of problem.” (Ruke)
“Yes, I’m aware of that.” (Iso)
“It is unusual for a half lich to be there. I’ll be frank, someone set it up. It even managed to fuse with the mana distortion. This could have turned to a disaster.” (Ruke)
“You are telling me this, why?” (Iso)
“There are a lot of reasons. I have to report this to Skydusk, in order to get some help. You were one of the summoned heroes, bringing you there to report might help. And there is one more thing. The means that you used to defeat the half lich, that was…impressive. To use a healing spell against it…nobody has thought of that. And it was super effective.” (Ruke)
“I guess I was just lucky.” (Iso)
“That method might prove useful in future encounters. You have to report it because you are the most knowledgeable about it. Oh, also, here.” Ruke got something from his pocket and toss it to me.
I caught it just in time. It was colored azure blue and has a balance scale for the design. I look at it with curiosity. It was made out of a material that I don’t know of. I look at Ruke with a questioning gaze.
“What is this for?” (Iso)
“It is from Jushar. He said it is your reward and you’re now free to leave the village. You can use that to class change at Skydusk. You’ve become level 60 recently, right?” (Ruke)
“Yes…How’d you know?” (Iso)
“I got some low-level appraisal eyes. How do you think I knew the guardian was a half lich?” (Ruke)
“Oh, I see. Thanks again.” (Iso)
“You got to be careful with that. That token is valuable. Usually, you have to pay 30 silvers to class change.” (Ruke)
“30 silvers?!” So even if I asked to leave the village and go class change, I won’t be able to pay for it.
“Yeah, I know right? Well, you should rest. We still need to prepare for our departure.” (Ruke)
“When will we leave?” (Iso)
“Soon. There is a merchant that stayed in the village. He would soon depart to Skydusk. I asked if we could go along with them.” (Ruke)
“I see. Well, nice talking with you again. I look forward to our travels.” (Iso)
And those were what happened before we left the village. A lot happened these passed few days. I’m looking forward to the future.
