Fei Yuming woke up the next day and felt very refreshed. This was the best night's sleep he had since he left home two months ago. He looked outside the window at a very bright and sunny clear blue sky. Such a nice day today. He thought to himself.
"Good morning Host. Had a nice sleep?" Xiao Bai greeted him
"Yea. I guess I slept like a baby" Fei Yuming says with a smile. With great reluctance and unwillingness, he climbs out of bed and gets ready for the upcoming journey to the place with extreme yin energy.
When he steps out of his room, he finds Yu Xuewei waiting for him with a book in hand. "Ah, great you're awake. I forgot to give this to you yesterday. You haven't started cultivating yet which saves us the trouble so you can use this cultivation technique to start now."
Fei Yuming takes the book and reads it. "HEAVEN'S DIVINE WILL." It was a heaven-grade technique, much to his surprise. "Is it okay for me to take this for free? I don't have anything to pay you for it...."
"Just take it. The Lord asked me to give it to you as a gift ahead of time to his new disciple." Yu Xuewei said. "Besides, it's useless to anyone who doesn't have all five elemental spiritual roots."
Fei Yuming just nods and tucks it into his bag. " Okay then."
"Let's get going now. The sooner you're done with your business in this place, the sooner I can bring you to The Lord and he can answer any questions you have while he can." Yu Xuewei then picks Fei Yuming up and leaps up into the air and flies away.
They arrive somewhere in the north and land just outside a town there so they wouldn't cause too much alarm. They then enter the town and book a room to stay in for a few days.
Yu Xuewei tells Fei Yuming, "You should probably cultivate for a little bit before you go. It might be a little dangerous with your lack of cultivation."
Fei Yuming agreed with him. He still had a few days until the full moon anyways, so why not start cultivating like he always wanted to for two years now? He sat down and opened up the book and read it.
The first few pages were an introduction to the different meridians in the body and the pathways between them. After the introduction to the meridians, the manual talked about how to sense the different elements in the air, then after that page came the cultivation breathing technique method.
He then calmed his mind and started to sense the elements according to the book. At first, he didn't see anything, but after a few minutes, he saw a bunch of tiny lights of different colors flying around the air, red, blue, green, white, and silver. These little lights were the elemental energies that he had an affinity to. As shown before on the crystal ball, each element had its own respective color. He then started to do the breathing technique and watched in amazement as the little lights zoomed into him. He focused on moving them through his meridians until they landed in his empty dantian, slowly filling it up.

Before he knew it, a few days had passed. He finished up another rotation and was about to start the next one when Xiao Bai said. "Host, the full moon is tonight, you should probably get going now."
"Yea I guess so. I didn't realize that cultivating could take away one's sense of time. I can't believe that I was cultivating for three days straight. *GROWL* his stomach lets out a loud rumble just as he says that. "And I am hungry. Let's get some food first before we head out." He then walks out of his room and sees Yu Xuewei pacing around his door.
"Oh good, you're okay. You've been in your room for a few days. I wasn't sure if anything happened to you. you still need to eat Fei Yuming, you haven't reached the golden core stage yet."
"I know," Fei Yuming responds. "I just lost sense of time while cultivating" *Rumble* his empty stomach reminds him that he needs food. They head down and go to a nearby restaurant and Fei Yuming orders a ton of food.
"How far did you get into the book?" Yu Xuewei asked him while he was stuffing his food into his mouth unceremoniously.
"Oh... I already completed a few rotations. The spiritual energy is soo pretty." He said once he swallowed the food in his mouth, then stuffed another mouthful after he answered.
Yu Xuewei sent his divine sense out to see Fei Yuming's progress so far and found out that he was already at the peak of body tempering stage 1. He looked at him with wide eyes. He was surprised at how fast Fei Yuming comprehended the book. He watched Fei Yuming stuffing his mouth with food and thought that he was indeed a peculiar young man, but his comprehension and talent were definitely top-notch without a doubt.
After he finished eating, Yu Xuewei then took him to the spot with the most extreme amount of yin energy and left him to do his thing after saying, "I'll be back around tomorrow morning to pick you up."
Fei Yuming took out the egg and put it down on the snow and waited for the moon to appear. After a few more hours, the moon was high in the sky. there was not a cloud in sight, but there was no reaction to the blue and white egg. It was still the same. Fei Yuming lay down next to the egg and watched it like a hawk but there was nothing. It was already getting super late and his eyes started to droop down as he was growing sleepy, just watching the egg and not moving.
Suddenly the egg started to glow faintly and rose up into the air, hovering above the ground about 2 feet. It did this for about an hour, glowing brighter and brighter with each passing moment. The light grew brighter and brighter until Fei Yuming was forced to close his eyes then the light died and in the egg's place was a little white and pale blue-furred baby fox sleeping with its little fluffy tail curled over its paws, the tip touching its little pink nose.
It slowly came back to the ground and Fei Yuming caught the newly born baby fox in his arms. The baby fox was no bigger than a Beanie Boo toy from Earth. It snuggled closer into Fei Yumings arms and continued to sleep. Aw man. This little baby fox is a real cutie. He thought silently to himself, not wanting to wake up the baby fox, and soon fell asleep with it in his arms.
