POV: Altair Oberon Lyrius
I hated it, I hated it all so much right now. How dare she look like she did, how dare she use words such as those... how dare she remind me of her. I laid my hand onto her face and grabbed it, beginning to tighten my grip quickly. Her eyes widened as she realized what was happening and she was about to begin screaming, I could already feel her hot breath on my palm but that was also the moment I heard a crack and blood splattered everywhere. Ivory's lifeless body dropped to the ground, her head reduced to a bloody mess.
Then I heard one of the crates in the chamber being pushed. I immediately turned my head only to see some guy wearing dirty leather armour. His eyes were filled with fear as I began smiling.
"Perfect," I said.
In a second I stood right next to him, grabbed his head and twisted my hand a little. His neck broke instantly.
"No... my reaction should be different... right?"
'Depends on the desired effect,' Arva said.
"Oh you can shut it miss spirit princess," I responded.
'Look, I already said that I'm sorry for suddenly disappearing... and for basically dragging you into a war...' Arva said. 'You know what, just stay angry at me, that sounds easier right now.'
I chuckled as I grabbed my dagger and began stabbing the corpse over and over and over again while I broke all the limbs. When I was done I carried the corpse over to where Ivory lay, headless, and dropped it about two metres to her right.
"Does this look realistic?" I asked as I looked upon my work.
'As realistic as it gets, now how do you plan on getting people to notice this?' Ira asked.
"Right... I might have to rethink this a little... ah, got an idea," I said as I walked over to the corpse of the guy covered in blood and stab wounds, grabbed him by the colour and began punching his face.
"You bastard!" I screamed at the top of my lung. "I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you!" I screamed.
Within seconds people came running into the chamber. I heard a loud scream. When I turned my head, my eyes widened in fake anger, I saw Evergreen, first staring at me, then staring at Ivory's body on the ground. Then I saw tears falling to the ground.

"What happened here?" some soldier asked.
"I... I was over there... I... I needed to throw up... because of the stress... and, then I heard a noise... but when I turned around... all I heard was... was how he squashed her skull..." I said, sounding like my world had just been destroyed. "T-There was nothing I could do... n-nothing... she was already dead... it all happened so fast and I..."
At this point I just got up and grabbed my head with both hands as I stumbled backwards, falling against the wall on purpose.
"Get the bodies out of here... I'll talk to him," Evergreen said.
I could clearly hear in her voice that she was still crying. After the other soldiers had carried out the two bodies I heard her sliding down the wall next to me.
"I take it she couldn't tell you how she felt?" Evergreen asked.
I didn't answer, thinking that it would be the optimal response in this situation. Evergreen continued talking as if she never expected an answer.
"It began just months after you two met... every time you weren't there she wouldn't shut up about you... I never understood... well, not until I saw you fighting against Paladin Rudolpho... you're the only person I know that would be able to stand against a paladin like that at such a young age," Evergreen said.
"But I guess right now you need time... so I'll leave you alone and go cry in some other corner... see you later Altair," Evergreen said.
I nodded and waited for her to finally leave the chamber. Once I was sure she was gone I warped away, to the ground above, smiling. Once I was sure that no one down in the temple could hear me I began laughing, I just couldn't keep it down anymore.
"That bitch really thought I could ever love a human! How hilarious!" I laughed out loud.
I could hear Ira chuckle inside my head as well.
'I loved the way she looked at you as you just crushed her head!' she said.
I laughed even louder.
"And how nervous she was as well!" I said out loud.
At that moment an image of Alyra standing before me, too shy to even look me in the eyes, flashed before my inner eye. Ira stopped laughing before me. I coughed once.
"Well... anyway, now we're on a deadline as well... do you think I have any chance of killing that bastard within the two yours your mother so graciously gave us?" I asked.
'Oh please, take a few more hours to regain your mana and you could slaughter your way through everything down there,' Ira said.
"Yeah... but I don't want to bully him when he's down... I want to kill him when he's at his highest... didn't your mother mention a battle that was supposed to take place in about half a year?"
'So you want to kill him then?' Ira asked.
"Yes, imagine this. Lestul Rigarium, on his way to fight so he can finally regain the glory that his family has lost... then dies tragically, killed by his own subordinate, by the guy that uses his sister for comfort, by the one he thought could be a future saint, killed by the guy that he took everything from!" I said loudly.
Ira began chuckling again.
'Happy Face is going to like you,' Ira said.
"Ah who cares about that council, I'm only joining them because they can combine my magic marks," I said.
'Oh, believe me, you're going to like it there, many opportunities to grow stronger... plenty of opportunities to kill those three,' Ira said.
