I once again found myself surrounded by the cloudy white mist. I sat on nothingness and stared at Ira, her ashen skin glistening slightly with sweat, her now even darker, raven black hair falling down her shoulders and covering her naked breasts just enough to hide everything. She sat on her misty white throne with her legs crossed and looked down at me. The two large black horns now seemed to shine with the same purple as her eyes.
I sat up and looked up at her. Something about this felt strange.
"Oh, how nice of you to visit again boy," Ira said with a smile.
"Not like I had a choice," I responded.
"Oh honey, don't be like that," Ira said.
Honey, boy, decide already.
"Hmm, I choose honey then, sounds more intimate," Ira said.
"Right, you can read my mind... or hear it?"
"More like hearing it," Ira responded casually.
"Also you know I'm a child, right?"
"And I'm dead," Ira said matter-of-factly.
"... Good point," I responded.
"So, you finally decided to use the power again... although maybe you used it a bit too much, If I hadn't taken over they might have killed you after you fell unconscious," Ira said.
"I didn't really have a choice did I now?"
"Oh but you did honey, the Power of Wrath is called the Power of Wrath because it's fueled by... wrath, or rather anger. The tricky thing is that it only activates when you are determined to fully act on that anger," Ira explained. "Of course once you know how to control it better you might be able to not have it activate even when you act on your anger but that's the future. First, there are two things we need to talk about."
"And those two things would be?" I asked.
"First, you need to actually be able to use the Power of Wrath, at least for longer than you did today. That was pathetic," Ira stated.
"Oh shut it."
"I'm just telling you how it is honey. Anyway, the second thing is this whole revenge thing. We are up against the church. Now I don't know too much but it seems that this church is based on the Order of Heros that was responsible for my death in the past. And they are dangerous, very dangerous," Ira explained.
"So, I have your help, don't I? I also have your power so I'll be fine," I said, maybe a bit more confident than I should have been since Ira immediately changed the look on her face. From happy and calm to angry and annoyed.
"No, what you need to understand is that you're weak! Listen here, Altair, you are nothing in this world. If nothing has changed then you are at the bottom of the food chain. Do you think yourself strong because you bullied some lowly maggots? Let me tell you something, the ones that attacked your village, they were maggots as well! Nothing compared to those that are truly powerful! And those maggots could have killed you in seconds if not for my interference! And even now, my power is not even close to a fourth of what I once had! On top of that, I'm restricted to taking over your body whenever you become mentally weak enough, which surprisingly doesn't happen a lot!"

When she was finished she took a deep breath and reverted to her calm expression.
"So I'm weak... then how do I get stronger?" I asked.
"Glad that you at least see how useful it is to listen to me, honey. As I said, you need to be able to control your power. And the only way of doing that is to use it, so find something that makes you angry, and then act on your anger, train, become stronger and prove to me that you can at least kill that fucking creature that has been chasing you around for weeks now!" Ira got louder again, making me shudder, but for some reason, she sounded strangely excited.
"Alright... I'll... think of something," I said.
"Good. There are also some other matters we need to discuss but those can wait for when they become important... for now, you'll need to eat something. I can practically feel your body calling for food," Ira said.
"Not like I can just decide when to wake up," I responded.
"True, true."
...
...
...
"You think it was the right thing to just kill them all? We could have used their hospitality to survive..."
"You're thinking about that now? Let me remind you that what I did, while maybe a bit over the top, was to not get you killed for falling unconscious. You were the one that killed that poor little girl," Ira said.
I chuckled.
"What would you do to the people that are partially responsible for taking away everything from you?" I asked, staring Ira into her purple eyes.
She began laughing. Her eyes suddenly went dark and lit up in orange as she jumped up from her throne, leaving nothing covered.
"Oh, I would have made sure to capture them and anyone close, friends, family, acquaintances, everyone. And I would torture them until they were all begging for death, for sweet sweet death... and then, then I would deny them that! I would slowly make sure to break them, and only once they are broken messes incapable of talking or thinking would I get rid of them!" Ira said, articulating herself with her entire body.
I swallowed all the saliva in my mouth and looked up at her... large bust that was now right above me.
Wasn't there some cloud stuff covering that last time?
"Oh, I gave you such a good show without even realizing," Ira said casually as she sat back down. "Anyway, I hope that answers your question if you even listened honey."
"Right..."
Somehow what she said sounded less threatening than it should.
"I'm getting used to all of this way too fast," I whispered.
"Oh, just wait till you're outside. I'm sure the voices will mock you again," Ira said teasingly.
"SO you can hear them too?" I asked.
"Yes, I can hear them too. But it's a good thing that they're there," Ira said.
"Oh, please enlighten me!" I jumped up from the ground and walked up to Ira, who sat on her throne and looked down on me despite technically not being as tall as I was while she was sitting. "How are the voices that sometimes keep me awake, that insult and mock me, a good thing?!"
"They make you angry... and acting on anger fuels your power. That means as long as you can hear them we don't need to resort to using drugs as I did during my lifetime," Ira said.
I sat back down and thought about what she said.
"Alright, maybe you're not wrong... but it's just that sometimes... sometimes I can't take it anymore. I just want to sit in a corner and... and cry or something," I said, looking at the cloudy mist beneath me. "You must think I'm pathetic or something like that, right? I bet you wish that I wasn't your host..."
Before I could say anything else I felt a strange but familiar warmth around me. When I looked up I saw Ira's raven black hair and her ashen skin. She was hugging me.
"I know what it feels like to feel pathetic... I did too when I let all my siblings die... you know, I'm the oldest of seven... and I just watched as they died, unable to do anything. All I could do was cast the reincarnation spell on them. And as you can see... that didn't quite work out as it should have," Ira said. "So don't worry-" she patted my head "-you can always talk to me, I might not be able to help you but I can at least try. We are one now after all."
"Thanks that really helps," I said.
After a while, Ira returned to her throne.
"Ever considered becoming a mother?" I asked jokingly.
"Watch it, honey, I'm an evil demon queen, not some sweet mother," Ira said with an obvious fake stern look on her face.
"Just 'cause you're evil doesn't mean you can't have fun," I said.
"Oh I'm sure that you'll have a lot of fun on your spiralling path into insanity," Ira said.
"You really think that I'll go insane?" I asked.
"I dunno, we'll see... for now just wait till you wake up."
And so I waited, in silence, which wasn't that bad.
After a short while, I awoke on the cold, rough floor, surrounded by bloody corpses.
