Nanoc the gnome dreamed of adventure, but spent his days filling out paperwork for the Guild of Heroes. That changed the day he accidently released a magical banana and burned down the guild hall. Faced with being fired (in a very literal way), Nanoc was forced to make a deal with the very power that had threatened his life. The magical banana would grant him a new life as a barbarian, and in return he would go on an epic quest to free the goddess Chaos from her prison… or die in the attempt.

That seemed fair enough to Nanoc: dying young as a barbarian sounded like a lot more fun than living forever as a clerk.

Join the universe’s only gnome barbarian and his party of chaotic good(ish) friends as they travel the land seeking fights, books, treasures, and pie. Will Nanoc succeed in his quest and change the very universe or will he die trying? Death seems more likely, but it will be fun either way
