Chapter 11: The Rude One

Ugghhh. Jesus. My fucking head is killing me....

As he came to, the first thing Jack noticed was the light. Looking around he saw several spots of light dotting the walls. He brought a hand up to the spot where he felt the sharpest pain, not surprised at all when it came back red with blood. Jack turned his head up to look at where he must have fallen from, his gaze coming to rest at a massive hole in the roof of the cave. Its size was extraordinary, but what really shocked him was the distance. It had to have been at least a hundred feet high! How the hell could he have survived that?

Dammit, Luke! What the fuck were you doing!? You keep saying your the smart one, but you must be some special kind of genius to think falling down a hole is a good idea. Emphasis on 'special'.

......

Hey, Foureyes! You better respond before I- Oh, right. The prick's probably down in the deep with Michael. Jack's hot headedness had made him forget that each of them could only surface for a short amount of time before they had to go back into the deep of Lucky's mind. He was annoyed that he'd lost the perfect chance to ridicule that arrogant piece of shit, Luke, but his attitude got a lot better once he realized the golden opportunity he now had. In fact his cheeks almost hurt from the large smile he was now sporting.

"No Foureyes to doubt me. No Big Brother to keep me from interfering.... Hahahaha! This is the first time I've been this free in ages! Who needs those douches anyway? I may not be as smart as them but I kick ass harder than the both of them combined!" His self-satisfied smile grew even larger with each word he spoke. In fact it almost seemed to split his face in half, if anyone saw him now most would assume he was thinking about something vulgar. The satisfied look on his face coupled with the disgusting smile made his appearance quite unsightly.

Sitting up he took a few moments to reorient himself with his surroundings. The first thing he noticed were that the lights dotting the wall actually came from markings scribbled onto them rather than coming from the walls themselves. They looked familiar to the ones he saw in the tunnels branching off from the mines but more....formless, free and, most off all, they lacked the violent aura of the ones from the tunnel.

Second, the area he was in now was much different from the tunnels before. The tunnels might have been strangely built, full of branching side paths and violent imagery, but they still had the feeling of being something manmade. The cave he was in now had no such feeling. The walls and ground were decorated in impossible rock formations with no order or reason to their placement. Any comfort that the cave could have been formed naturally went away when he saw the hundreds of claw marks that covered every inch of the cave—almost as omnipresent as the glowing markings on the walls.

Jack was sitting right in the open far from any of the rock formations. The light from the markings illuminating him and his surroundings. Despite the fact that being in the light should have been a comfort all Jack could feel was a sense of danger creeping up from inside him. He had no idea what it was but it was practically screaming at him to get out of the open and into any of the shadows casted by the rock formations. It felt similar to the feelings he used to get whenever Lucky, Michael or Luke, was about to lead them into a real clusterfuck of a situation but it was several times more powerful, and as someone who rated gut instinct over the other types of decision making Jack was inclined to do exactly what the feeling told him to do.

It was only when he was getting ready to make a break for it that he finally noticed something odd. The ground he was sitting on....wasn't the ground. It was Judge. Jack's smaller frame was seated right on top of the poor guy's chest. The slight rising and falling of Judge's chest told Jack that the guy was alive, but Jack didn't make any motion to get off his chest. It was this idiot's fault they were down here after all—at least that's what he assumed given they were blind at the time—and since it was only due to luck he was still alive it wouldn't be a stretch to say Judge had almost killed him! He debated with himself for a moment whether to leave the dumbass to whatever his instinct was warning him about or drag him over to the shadows to hide. Ultimately, he decided to bring Judge along, Lucky trusted the man and that meant they would probably need him alive in the future. Still, that didn't mean Jack couldn't try to pay the guy back.

"Come on, buddy. Let's get moving!"

With a smile on his face Jack grabbed Judge by the legs and began gleefully dragging him across the ground as he ran towards the rock formations. Jack dragged him carefully enough that it wouldn't cause any real damage but recklessly enough that he would definitely wake up with a sore body. Sure it was petty, but the idiot was gonna wake up sore anyway—visible injuries or not, you didn't walk away from a 100 foot fall unscathed—Jack never thought of himself as above such juvenile actions, if anything he enjoyed them more than he should.

This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.

Once he reached the rock formations Jack tossed his victim to the side with all the delicacy of a butcher in a pet store.

"Damn! Why the fuck are you so heavy!? Making me do all the heavy lifting, while all you do is sleep. Some grown up you are. You think you can slack off, and I won't mind because I'm shorter than you!? Well fuck you asshole, I've gotten closer to pussy than you'll ever be!"

If the previous physical abuse wasn't enough Jack followed it up with a round of his own brand of verbal abuse. It was totally useless given that the target of his....particular brand of wordplay was unconscious, and even if he wasn't Judge didn't seem to be the kind to get annoyed over something so trivial. Jack, however, was getting annoyed at the fact his awesome insults had no audience to hear to them.

Aside from that mild feeling Jack was shrouded in an ever present sense of unease. Everything felt all wrong. How had they survived the fall? What were the markings? What made this cave? Jack didn't have any idea, but he felt that they were all tied to the same question. What was his instinct warning him about?

His eyes turned towards the unconscious form situated awkwardly in the shadows of the rocks behind. From the moment they'd woken up in this strange place called God's Dimension he had a feeling that Judge was more than he'd appeared to be. The moments right after they'd woken up were fuzzy, as if they'd has been half awake until they were thrown out of the cabin. What he could remember clearly was that compared to the others Judge responded to the news of this place being another dimension much better than the rest and that—unlike the others who were either afraid, suspicious or excited—he had an air about him that felt like he wasn't out of place in this world. It might not be much to go on but it was more than enough for Jack to decide to act.

He walked over to Judge and rolled him onto his back, making sure to remove any weapons from his body during the process and placing them in a pile far from the person's view when he woke up. Jack found it odd that the expressions Judge had while he was unconscious looked much more strained and weary than when he was awake. Normally, the unconscious people Jack saw either looked peaceful or apathetic after he'd dealt with them. Despite being quite curious and wanting to observe for a bit more Jack knew he had a limited time before it was his turn to go into the deep, and he sure as hell wasn't gonna go without getting his answers.

Taking the same position he had previously on Judge's body he prepared to begin with his interrogation. And like all of his actions thus far it was going to be very loud and very inappropriate. Straightening his hand into the perfect instrument to wake-up someone up, he delivered a solid slap on Judge’s unconscious form.

*Slap*

"Wake the fuck up you lazy shotacon bastard! I got a lot of questions to ask you and I am not in the mood to wait till you finish your beauty sleep!"

Author’s note

Hey~ So.... My schedule for updates is pretty wacko.... Well the usual excuses are the usual excuses: school, busy, sleep, homework etc. I know you guys ain't interested, well, unless there are any stalkers or yanderes among you guys. Speaking of Yandere I would love to have one. I mean as long as your faithful and don't mess it up you'll probably have the most loyal GF ever! Sure they threaten you or act creepy at times but isn't that just soo adorable! That they like you enough to obsess over you to such a degree! Kyaa~ And don't forget a Yandere would definitely have no problem using ropes in bed. Pampering and doing this and that to you while you're tied up. Yanderes aren't crazy, they are just misunderstood..... What was the point of this author's note? Well whatever~ Hope you enjoyed the chapter and see you guys in the next one. Oh, just so you know the personalities sometimes use they when they refer to something that happened to their body but while they weren't in control.
